This is about shopping Men's items only. I found several items that were of a good value, including shoes. After a different experience not far away, it was a pleasant surprise to find things not only in organized-by-size state, but numerous real deals. There's a variety here that's good for younger to older. There are items that are insanely priced, but many realistic prices and a few good deals. Happy to get some shoes and apparel. I'm surprised there aren't more reviews! I've had a good experience in the 3-4 times I've visited this Plato's location, and I've been to many Plato's stores previously. I've sold here, and the wait time was accurate and they took a good amount of items, maybe 15 or so and I got about $40. I was just happy to get rid of some clothes I don't wear! Staff was friendly and helpful, selection of shoes was GREAT-I've found a pair every time I've shopped! And cute size 10s are hard to find. I do wish they had more jeans in my size (10), but it's not really their fault if they don't get as many of those in. I've also found cute sweaters, tops, and lots of cute accessories. I appreciate their "new arrivals" and trend alert sections, for when I don't feel like digging. The store is kept well-stocked, they must bring out new inventory regularly to replace the sold inventory. My only complaint would be that sometimes it's hard to look through the racks because they can be pretty packed. And they don't have rewards like other Plato's locations because they're corporate and not a franchise. I definitely recommend this location! This is probably my favorite platos closet to come to. It's right next to my work place at Krogers. I have bought numerous pieces of clothing from here over the last few years. I always find pretty good clothing in almost new condition or with tags which is pretty amazing. I just don't find it reasonable to buy clothing name brand at full price at other stores if you can find them at 50% to 90% off at places like Platos Closet. They have pretty good sales which always keeps me coming back like this recent weekend they had 8.00 dress sale. I love dresses they are my obsession to wear at work and out and about during warmer seasons. Bought four dresses with all new tags together that would have cost nearly 80 bucks but I got them all together 30 bucks which is a steal. I also buy blouses and leggings here too they never disappoint me. I love the convenience of this location to my house and work place. Definitely will be coming back to continue to shop when I need name brand clothing. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE OR AT ANY OF THE OTHER PLATO'S CLOSET LOCATIONS!! I went to Plato's Closet in Dublin Ohio Saturday, July 8th to sell a huge bag of name brand clothes that were in great condition. I live an hour and half from this store and thank goodness I did not plan a whole day around it because the first problem was the wait, which was anywhere from an hour and a half to two hours just to go through people's bags of clothes? Really? I'm glad I had some errands to run in Columbus and did not dedicate the whole day around this because once they were finally done sorting through my clothes (if they even did for that matter) they texted me to come pick up, which I did. I get there, tell them I am picking up and have the audacity to tell me they were only able to take TWO ARTICLES OF CLOTHING!! SERIOUSLY?? I have two ideas how they do things there, they either had no more energy to look through my bag of clothes so they just pulled out two random pieces of clothes to take or the worker went through my bag and picked out the items they wanted for themselves. Then, they had the audacity to tell me they could either take seven dollars in store credit for it or six dollars cash. Obviously, I took the cash because I am not about to take the stupid in store credit to waste my valuable time and give you guys more money. At this point, I was very mad and upset and I had no energy to open up my mouth and tell the workers how I really felt about the store itself and the way you "buy" things from people. I went back out to my car, ranted to my boyfriend for ten minutes and asked if he could go back in and get the clothes back that I had just sold because I can sell them for a whole lot more on Facebook or Mercari. He did go back in for me with the cash, receipt, and my driver's license and about five minutes later he came back and told me the employees looked at him like he was stupid and straight up told him they had already put the items into the system so they could not undo it. Seriously?? I did not believe that for one second. No, they were just too lazy! All they had to do was simply enter the UPC number or scan the tag attached to it like it was being bought and give it back to me but no. Then, the second option the employee told my boyfriend that if they had already put it out on the floor, he could simply go get it and repurchase it. Again, SERIOUSLY!!?? Why would I do that especially if those two pieces of clothes came out of MY closet?? Which you guys jacked up the price, anyway, bought it from me for six dollars and then turned around and tried selling it for thirty!! I am done messing with the joke and rip off of a company and I would much rather go to a thrift store and find way nicer name brand clothes for only FIVE DOLLARS!! Explain to me this, why would you tell me that all my NAME BRAND CLOTHING ITEMS are "out of style, too well loved, and not the right size" when everything in your store is well loved because IT IS USED CLOTHING, everything in that store is all different sizes for all different body types, and how can my clothing items be out of style when they are ALL NAME BRAND?? This store literally makes NO SENSE and is a BIG FAT JOKE!! Do not have a huge sign hanging out in the front window of your window telling people they can sell their clothes for cash when you pass half the bag and are only willing to give six dollars for two items. They did not take any of my name brand clothes yet I saw quite a few tops and jeans from Walmart and Target. Really?? read more

They barely buy anything. I took nice clothing with tags and name brand and they took my stained t-shirt and nothing else. I don't not recommend taking anything nice here it is a waste of time. read more

I would give zero if i could, we brought in 5 bags of clothes, some with tags and they were name brand, however because they were not exactly "what they were looking for" they didn't take any. Waste of time. I'd take my clothes elsewhere. read more

Today I was trying to run into Plato's closet to grab an item for an event I am attending and I was told I needed to wear a mask or purchase one in the store in order to shop. Unfortunately due to a medical circumstance, my doctor has advised me not to wear a mask so I was unable to shop at Plato's. Very disappointed that they are requiring it for people shopping in the store. It should be the consumers choice to go in and shop with or without a mask on. read more

This is a great Plato's closet location. It makes sense considering the area it's located in that they get a lot of the better name brands (north face, free people, adidas). I've noticed that some items here skew overly expensive (I hate paying $20 for a used pair of jeans), but it's the trade off with some of the more recognizable brands. read more

Plato's Closet on Sawmill, it is located in a shopping center with Play It Again Sports and New Uses as well as Gadget Ease, you should definitely check out all of the sister stores as they have great deals as well . Plato's Closet if you have not been there before is a secondhand store where you can both purchase really cool clothes and shoes as well as accessories or you can sell things that you no longer need or want and then you can either put towards what you want to buy from the store or get cash for it I've been coming here for a lot of years almost 20 years I really like this location that employees seem like they know what they're doing and you can usually find something there that's pretty cute for reasonable price you should check it out if you haven't yet for sure, you could find some great gifts probably as well! read more

ZERO STARS...AWFUL. Don't bother folding your clothes to bring in. I brought in a laundry basket of neatly folded items, got it back looking like a pile of dirty laundry. Is this how you treat your own belongings, or just other people's? My guess is the latter. Rude and flippant when I commented about it. You guys need some serious lessons in manners, respect of people and their belongings, and customer service. read more

Man oh Man. The time I had spent there was a blast. I found tons of shirts, shorts, sunglasses and a hat that are superb. Above all I had made a joke to my aunt saying "if the cashier doesn't say did you find everything you dreamed of and then some, I'll give em a grand yelp review." I never write reviews but after this experience I figured it was a must. I have been selling clothes to Platos for a number of years and I will never step foot into another platos again. I sold clothes to Platos earlier this week and accidentally sold something I still wanted. I realized it late tonight so I head there right before close. I called Platos to give them a heads up that I will be running in right before 9:00pm. They lady that answered the phone (I think Carly) said I'm sorry but if the door is locked there is nothing we can do. I said thank you and hung up because I completely understood. After working a long shift all you want to do is get home. However, I got there at 8:57 and ran in a knew exactly what I was grabbing. I grabbed the item and walked to the check out. As I was waiting in line, the lady that answered the phone says to the other lady working "please go lock the door now because I don't want that girl that just called to find her shirt, I want to go home." I then said I am that lady and I did get my item thank you. I am appalled at how rude she was and how rude her tone of voice was. Rude on the phone and in person. Be nice, it is not that hard. Hate to say it but these types of employees are common at Platos and honestly should be fired. It ruins your customer base. read more
