This place has really gone down hill the past few months. It's now common to find trash/broken items on the shelf priced $6 and up. They seem to be only focused on scanning their donations for items to send to their online retail dept. Anything that makes it to the shelf here is likely junk and has been marked way up.... often times higher than the same new item at the Meijer across the lot. This place use to be great but over the last few months the quality of items has gone down and the prices have skyrocketed. By far the highest priced goodwill around town. I asked what's going on with the prices and the employee at the register said they got a new owner and they send a lot of the quality items to shop goodwill ....if that's true or not I don't know but what I do know is this location seems to have gotten greedy. Used to be my go to place, mens clothes selection great. But Women's racks are too full and takes forever to go through them. Staff is hit or miss when is it comes to friendliness. I was separating my items for the cashier so she could ring up the 50% color Item. after I left i noticed she took 50% off my entire bill. if i didnt live 30 mins away I would have gone back. I'm all about training . Perhaps staff needs some more at the high street training center read more

What I love/hate most about this location is the potential ease of dropping off donations. When there is no one in front on me in the drop off lane and when I can drop the items in the door myself, it's perfect. Quick and easy. However, when there is someone in front of me and it's being staffed - the process can be SLOW and the wait LONG. This trip, I was buying not selling. I needed a blender for the rare times the food processor doesn't do the job. I had an old one without a lid that finally died. Needless to say, I was not willing to pay much. I hit pay dirt this shopping trip! I had looked at other thrift stores but came out empty-handed. The price was right - under $10. The next challenge was to find a plug. I circled the building, found an outlet, plugged it in and it whirred to life. BOO YAH. I was sold. I have been to this store but more frequently shop at the Goodwill down by Havens Corner. I like the layout of that store better - more clothes it seems. Also by one of the Kroger stores I frequent. I think this shop has more home goods, but I could be wrong. The line was short and I was quickly rung up. The cashier did her job but was far from friendly. Another tick against this location. The other Gahanna shop usually has very friendly sales people. Overall a much nicer atmosphere. However, the other store didn't have the blender I wanted. I'm sure I'll be back - both dropping off donations and looking to fill random needs for which I refuse to pay retail prices. read more

Even though this is the closest to us, we're never coming here again. Staff have always been confused as to what should be happening at best and screaming, rude banshees at worst, like today. If you want something in a specific place, LABEL IT! We're donating good stuff from Pottery Barn and other high ends stores (because I'm not interested in the hassle of selling online) for FREE, to sell. So when you start screaming at us because "no, that doesn't go there!" "No, take that out of there" when nothing is labeled and no direction is apparent, it leaves quite the bad taste in your mouth. Don't take your frustration of long lines out on us, sir. We're doing you a favor by unloading and don't have half of the contents of our house in our car like three others do. I wish I could say this is the first time we've experienced rude people at drop off but it's been consist as long as this store has been open so it's not just a pandemic stress thing. The inside is a mess! High prices, items crammed on the shelves so tight, you couldn't lift anything to check a price if you wanted to. Cashiers don't even acknowledge you, much less make it a pleasant exchange. I'll drive 10 miles out of the way next time to have even a fraction of a better experience. Get it together and we'll gladly come back. read more

This is a brightly lit, nicely organized, clean and well-staffed Goodwill. So far I have found and purchased a new looking suede skirt and a classic Hawaiian shirt (life is short, wear what ya want). Both felt, looked and smelled clean which I appreciate. My only issue was with the adult shoe section. Unfortunately, many pairs looked as if they should be trashed, with dirt and pleather falling off. But of course, new pairs will arrive and hopefully be more suitable for those seeking them. I did not have time to visit housewares etc. Definitely worth a peek or two through the racks. read more

Avoid this location at all costs if you're dropping off donations. There was a gentleman employee there, loading things into the store, and there were cones at the entrance. So we drove by the outside of the drive thru just to stop and ask if maybe the donations changed with the coronavirus going on or to get a timeframe and he immediately started screaming incredibly rude things at my fiancé and I. We didn't even get one word in before he starting screaming at us and waving his arms asking "DON'T YOU GET IT?!? JEEZ" and huffing and puffing around. I yelled back "have a nice day!" as we drove off but will be choosing a location further away from my residence because of that man. read more

Alway find a little something here. All of the workers are very helpful and pleasant . Plenty of parking . Sometimes it's so busy you can't find a cart. I found a bunch of things for my sons college apartment at a great price. read more

I've shopped at this location since it's opening. It's in my neighborhood. We have 2 Goodwills. But today, I decided that I need to not visit this one for a time. I'm giving it a 1 star only because I did purchase a few things. I've never seen it in such a mess. Everything was in dis-array or broken. You can reuse things but what I saw there today needed to be in the trash. Some of the shelves were so crammed, I didn't want to waste time looking. Then I get up to check out and the 2 staff behind the counter were talking about other staff and even paused to continue talking while I stood there waiting. Never has this happened to me at this location. I'm saddened as to what it's becoming. I visit many thrift stores and this, today, has been the worst ever. I hope the manager gets things and staff into shape. read more

This location is fairly clean and well organized but their prices can be a bit high as far as thrift stores go but you can catch items on sale and get some good values. You have to scan the racks to find your size as everything is just hung together and not separated into sizes. read more

Awful. Just awful. The whole place is unorganized. Workers are unfriendly and unhelpful. The items are over priced and inconsistent. A half used WALMART small candle was $4. The store is hard to even maneuver in. Everything in the store is either broken, dirty or god awful. None of the items are in an an organized, appropriate manner. This makes it even harder to shop. It's in a bad location. Hamilton road is full of traffic and getting out of that store is hard. The parking lot is tiny, yet oddly enough, the whole store is apart of the meijers parking lot. Save yourself the frustration and don't go. read more

Terrible, horrible location. I bought something online and it was broken during delivery due to the poor packaging job. It also had a lot of crazing and cracks in the ceramic glaze and when I sent pictures, they said "oh, just send it back because we sell crazed items." Keep in mind, this was bake ware and crazing poses a major health hazard as bacteria gets into the dish as it is not fully protected. Instead of sending it back and getting my 26.00 refund, I just threw the entire order away hoping that, by getting rid of it, they would not try to re-sell a dangerous item. The customer service is the WORST! Greedy, non-ethical company that will do anything and sell anything for a buck. STAY AWAY from this location! And make sure and look for crazing on your items as they think it is perfectly okay to sell a damaged, worthless item for an overpriced amount just so they can "help" the disadvantaged. I could not believe how nice this place is! I needed an emergency belt ( long story ), and figured I would stop in since I was nearby. I was in a hurry so couldn't take the time to check everything out, but what I did see was gently used or brand new stuff in all departments. Ended up with a brand new, tags and all belt for 5 bucks. Score! read more

This used to be a well kept store with reasonable bargains, it is now "junky" with merchandise thrown on the shelf's and prices inflated. The staff is friendly. read more

This is a brand new Goodwill store, only open for a few weeks. I think this is the nicest Goodwill store I've been in. Like the others, it's clean and neat, but they didn't seem to have the clothing organized by size yet. Hopefully they will take care of that. They also had a large selection of new and seasonal items. Overall a very large and nice store! read more

This review is for the donation process solely, as I have never actually been into the store. Every time I drop off things here, I tell myself that I will never come back again & this time it's for real. I used to drop my things off at the donation location in New Albany & it was a super quick & painless experience. However, now that location is closed, I have to visit this Gahanna location which I LOATHE! Since COVID, the Gaylord bins have been placed outside right where you drop them off, that part is fine. You have to place your items in the large boxes, that part is ok. You have a guy yelling at you to place them in the right box, that part is NOT ok!! I'm dropping off my free goods at your location for you to make a "profit", a CEO that makes billions a year, & you want me to sort out my stuff for you?! The stuff that took me hours to get out of my house in the first place??! Now don't get me wrong, I don't mean to sound like an entitled Karen but I'm literally getting YELLED at while I'm putting things in the bin if I don't put them in the right place. I understand the man outside might not be able to communicate well & I'm sure this new process is COVID related but yelling is yelling & it's not appreciated whatsoever. At the end of the day, your customers are the ones inside and outside of your store and I will be taking my business elsewhere. If he is unable to communicate, then how about put some signs around? The amount of confusion & frustration is so unwarranted for such a simple process. read more

I like this store. As usual you have to go threw lots of stuff to find a deal. Especially clothes. I don't do clothes but I'm more interested in vintage and home decor. The employees are really nice and friendly. Will come back. And will donate here. read more
