They are known for the being home of the $10 dress, but they have so much more! I haven't really perused the clothes, but they have a huge selection - kinda set like a thrift store if I am honest. I will definitely be back!

This store has fed my somewhat recent love affair with high heels. Every time I go here, I check out what they have in my size. It has also been my source for quality purses. I am a Coach fan and bought my first Coach purse here for about $40. It was cloth. I then graduated to leather and got my next purse for less than $100. Then I had to have a matching wallet - $40. Recently I've been looking for boots. I struck out but only because I was looking for something very specific. I'll be checking out other Clothes Mentor stores in the area. Clothes Mentor does has a good frequent shopper program where you earn discounts with each purchase - as you spend more you save more. They also frequently run deals. Yesterday if you donated to the Mid-Ohio Food Bank, you got 20% off your purchase. If memory serves me right, as we get close to Christmas they will run 12 days of deals. Like a certain % off a type of clothing each day. Clothes Mentor has quality used clothing at fair prices. They have a small clearance section and run great deals when they are closing out a season's line. I definitely recommend this store to ladies who want decent clothes without paying retail prices!

To compare them to a better customer service atmosphere at the store called Aerie--they should probably keep that attitude in check-especially if customers are nice!! They aren't necessarily friendly making the returns, but they usually perk up once I'm making additional purchases. There is one manager who is very friendly, but I don't seem to hit the days she's working on very much. Customer service aside, I like the quality of Loft's products. They don't fall apart after one wash like some other stores. I will say to definitely follow the washing and drying instructions on the tags, however. I once put a sweater in the dryer and it shrunk to the size of a small child. I haven't made that mistake again. I also like how the Loft brand isn't old lady, but isn't too young looking either. I struggled to find a store for my late 20's that was still trendy, but age appropriate. I wear their clothing to work and outside of work as well. There are a lot of pieces I can dress up or down and get my money's worth. Lastly, I never pay full price for their clothes. There is usually always a 40% off sale online and sometimes even in stores. New arrivals occur several times within seasons, so mark downs do as well. You can get even a higher percent off sale items. Who doesn't love that?? All in all, Loft is my go to store for clothing shopping. I'm an online shopper at heart, especially for their online only exclusives, but you'll find me in store every time I'm at the mall.

She's small and petite, with dark hair--racially ambiguous. Watch out for her. I'm not sure what her angle is, but she gave me such a hard time for no reason. My most recent interaction wasn't as bad as when the manager was there. I was able to at least get help with sizes and make an order. Seems like things function better when she's not there. Anyhow, I won't be returning to this location. I'm learning that money talks, and eventually poor treatment to loyal customers catches up in the long run.

So it's super easy to compare selection and prices. Also have SteinMart, Marshalls, and then the entire Easton shopping area. And then 2 Goodwill stores on the other end of the spectrum. That being said, I had come straight from a Clothes Mentor where they had a 30% off spring/summer selection (like all of it). Style Encore didn't have anything like this - but they do have clearance items within each article's area. 70% off those clearance things - so great deals if they have anything you like. What I saw were mostly items that made me ask myself - really? Some designer thought this was a good idea?? I was looking for shoes (tennies and heels) as well as jackets and blouses. I tried on one pair of heels - but one foot in let me know right away - NOOOO! The price was a little high for that pair, but they looked brand new. Looking at the tennies, they were all over-priced. I didn't even look at sizes as I wouldn't pay those prices. I didn't really look at much else. I think I was done shopping at this point. The location is great for me - right next to the Dollar Tree and near SteinMart, too. Not too bad to get to traffic wise - it's a the intersection where going a couple direction - things get dicey. The shop itself is a little small. I think they might have one fitting room - where Clothes Mentor has lots more space and several rooms. The lady behind the counter was very nice and with the help of a male coworker quickly went through 4 tubs of clothing only to make an offer on 1 pair of unworn shoes with tags and in the original box. The offer? $3. My wife looked around and passed on the offer and the few nice shirts she tried on. It seems like they get some nice clothes in here and they are priced well but they probably won't take anything you sell unless it's name brand or it's brand new. The other things that led me to write a 2 star review are this: mediocre playlist that gets interrupted after EVERY song to play a commercial for the store which specifically states "a store by women for women." Then why does a man work here and also determine which clothes to buy? Next up is the nauseating air freshener aroma. Too much! If you must come here, be prepared with headphones and nose plugs.
