He has a great way of keeping track of how many items go in by asking if it would "be easier to hand them to him" (from the cart) and takes you and the items to a fitting room. I actually liked that. The cashiers were not the best. The stood there having a personal conversation for two minutes (yes I timed them.). Once their story to each other was finished they were engaging w/customers and good, but I unappreciated (greatly) being ignored and not rung up in a timely manner. Nordstroms policies are slipping. So is their merchandise selections. I just didn't feel there was any value or savings to most of the items that were there today. This is why I probably don't shop there often as I'm usually disappointed.

Here's what I suspect (and I say "suspect" because customer service never explained): the bag was on display in the store for a prolonged period of time and suffered sun damage. Was there any indication of discoloration in the product description? Nope. It's actually appalling, the damage is so bad. Like over $350-for-a-redye bad. Thankfully, even though the item was final sale, customer service did rectify the situation with a full refund. I'm so sad though...that behno bag is sold out everywhere. The store is located just off of High on First Avenue, and the only reason we spotted the tiny clothing store was because of a sign that read "Designer Clothes at 'Knock Off' Prices". There was one more thing that caught my eye on that sign, the part that read sizes went up to 20! I'm not a fashionista by any stretch of the imagination, but maybe it's because as a plus size girl I find it really difficult to find name brand clothing in my size that doesn't look like a floral print potato sack. Savvy on a Shoestring is small, with a couple hand fulls of outfits in each size category. Some of the brands I hadn't heard of, but I did notice a fantastic Vera Wang dress on display. Clothing ranges from business, active wear, evening dresses and accessories in the form of handbags and sunglasses. The lady behind the counter was pleasant to talk to and I told her how happy I was that they carried plus size clothing. She said both her and the owner were larger women, so they tried to look after us curvy girls. However, due to a lack of interest (or perhaps a lack of knowledge) from their customer base, they were going to start scaling back their plus size line. Don't let this happen, Columbus! She put three or four things on hold, all major name designers like Versace, Michael Kors, Dolce & Gabbana...Everything is offered at a huge discount. You can find a $400 pair of jeans selling for $40. I don't know how they do it, but they do. So, this past Holiday Hop, I made it a point to stop in. The store was small but full of clothing neatly arranged on racks by size. Personally, I couldn't find anything that was my style. Everything looked like it was selling to an older crowd. They had a bit of everything from sweat suit jumpers to skirts, blouses, and rain boots. There weren't many duplicate pieces. The workers were nice and had York Peppermint Patties for us. Last year December 2022 I had a very bad experience with an employee at this location. So from…read morethat interaction, I decided to not be a customer at this location anymore . On December 30th 2023 I was shopping with family in Polaris and said what the heck let's give another go. This time I can honestly say I had some of the best customer service I've had in a long while. Every single employee that I engage with was super nice and very professional. Not to mention that the deals that were going on in the store at the time I was there were amazing I appreciate a good deal. It wouldn't have been fair to the establishment to write them off based off one distasteful interaction I had. The Customer Service alone is the reason why I decided to do another review and give a five star rating.
