The Kohl's at this location is typically organized, clean and bright even during the holiday season.This makes shopping bearable and pleasant. In addition, if spend $50+, you get $10 or $15 cash back in store or online. I like shopping at Kohl's for the following reasons: For children clothing, I think the brand Jumping Beans is super adorable and affordable. They also have Carters for babies. These are two good brands because the quality is top-notch. I have friends who buy clothes for their kids here. For adults, I would get pj's, socks, basic t-shirts (for men) here. They carry Levi's and Chaps/RL in store but it depends on the style and size. It's a hit or miss - they may not have your size or the style is a bit outdated... Stopped by last night around 9 to return a pair of jeans shorts I purchased online. No hassle, they took it back and no questions asked. Decided to take a stroll through the store to see what they had. This location is bigger than the one at the rego park center. The first floor is where the clothes are and second floor is the home stuff and shoes. Everything appear fairly neat and there's worker around making sure everything is back in place. They got a good section dedicated to Levi's jeans. I feel the sale online was a little better than in store. The line at the register was long and moving very slowly. The lady that helped me at the register was really nice and told me about the kohl's rewards card and the benefits. Helped me sign up for one and the process was quick. read more

I am not sure why there are so many negative reviews for this store, so I feel that I must add my two cents here. I love this store. I have always found the staff there to be helpful and attentive. I don't think the store ever looks really messy. I love love love the prices and the quality of the merch, and I love love love the discounts I get in the mail on a regular basis because I have a Kohl's credit card. I been coming here for almost 8 years and I rarely can buy things... why you ask? Well the lines are always long. One time I waited almost 40 minutes. I always end up having the is this worth the wait conversation in My head especially when I just have 1 item on hand . most of the time I just drop it and leave instead. Its never short no matter what time it is. Some items that I looked at that I wanted I cannot get because I simply cannot reach it. There is a stick thing to reach it but it's for staff use only. There are no staff visible on the floor to help reach for the items so ..ditto..... I love how it's located at ceaser bay where I can stop by to take a look at stuff after a stroll along shore parkway. They always seem to have discounts and savings opportunity when you shop. Sometimes they do the get 10 dollar cash card for every 50 dollar purchase. They have baby clothing to adult clothing as well as home and beauty needs like make up, jewelry,perfume,kitchenware , bed sheets ,decor , bathroom utensils and more. If they can fix the customer service part on the floor that would be nice since sometimes it hard to find certain things or need help reaching for things. Things sometimes get very disorganized and be put in wrong places. Truthfully, I only come here when I get a 30% off coupon in the mail. But when i do come here, they normally have everything I need for the house. There is not much different about this store than any other Kohls store in terms of their stock. They did just renovate the place and it looks a lot cleaner now and the customer service window is now on the first floor instead of hidden upstairs. They have a large parking lot because they share it with TRU, Best Buy and Modells. Can get way overcrowded during the holiday season but this place in convenient to me because I live in Brooklyn. read more

My wife and I recently remodeled our living room and baby's room and were super excited to get some fall decor for both rooms and maybe a new dish set. We haven't been to kohl's since before the pandemic and were super excited to visit a place we've been to a million times. First thing I will say is they are taking the virus and reopening guidelines very seriously. Signs on the floor, ceilings, and smack dad in front of you on standup signs. Social distancing in full effect my wife and I had our run of the place and got to spend the next hour shopping. We found some really beautiful pieces and when it came time to check out we found ourselves at the end of what's become the new norm; the line from hell. Surprisingly the line moved faster than toilet paper and hand sanitizer in the fist few days of covid. We left the store feeling grateful to be able to do something as arbitrary as shopping at Kohl's. Def plan on going back as my wife is already planning to redo our bedroom. Lol. read more

I don't usually shop at Kohls. But I had bought shorts for my husband on Kohls.com. They are fairly cheap at this time - about $8.80 - $14.99 per short. Originally $50 per shorts. So we come on Sunday afternoon around 2:30 PM. The line was REDICULOUSLY Looonnngggggg. They probably had only 4 - 6 registers open but I'm pretty sure I counted 50 people waiting in line. That should NEVER be. Luckily I had to go to the customer service line which was much shorter (because I was returning shorts). Probably about 20 people, but there were 6 people working this area. Anyway, I was returning shorts that I bought for 10 dollars. But I only got $8.50 back. I had my receipt but at Kohls, when you return something, you NEVER get full price. They charge you for a "transaction disc" which basically means they charge you for returning an item. If you don't have a receipt, you'll even get less back. I overheard a lady who wanted to return a bed comforter that she bought for $70, and was only getting $16 back. What. the. heck? So, Kohls does have great discounts, but if you change your mind, you will lose money too. read more

Kohl's is a really big store you can go to buy anything clothes related. They have a big selection of popular brands such as Levi's. They also tend to have a lot of sales especially if you have a membership. The only problem are the lines in the store. I'm not sure if it's the lack of cashiers available or not but the lines can get really long to a point where you might spend 30 minutes to an hour waiting. In a way, however, it might be worth it due to the discounts you receive. You also don't have to worry about the parking as it provides an enormous parking lot that it shares with other nearby stores. Kohls is a great one -stop -for- all shopping store- clothing, house decor, cook ware..you name it they have it. But the best part of this place is the coupons and sales they have. Now Im not a fan of store credit cards but i highly recommend it here. Once you are enroll they send lots of coupons through the year, ranging from 15-30% off. The coupon is great because there's no restrictions!! you can apply them on top of sale items. Another great deal they often have is the $10 cash back coupon for every $50 spent. I always look forward to the trips I take with my grandma here every few months. I hadn't been here in almost a year since Sandy shut it down for a while, so I was really surprised when I saw the new dressing rooms. It actually feels like a place I want to try clothes in now! The old dressing rooms were absolutely dreadful... They had the harshest lighting and they always looked a bit icky. I must say that now, they are the best-looking part of the store! There seems to be less of them than there were before but there are comfy couches outside for you or your bored husband/boyfriend/son/male companion to sit on. I even like that they separate the hooks into "Back to the Rack", "I Like It!" and "I Love It!" so if you like to go in with a bunch of things all at once like I do, it helps keep track of what you want to take with you. As always, I do end up getting a lot of things from here. I don't like to tell people I shop at Kohl's but I do really love coming here every time. I get a lot of compliments on the LC Lauren Conrad dresses I have especially. I'm not sure about how I feel about her as a person, but I can't deny she does have cute stuff! Just make sure to try them on because some of them have weird cuts, and I can never really figure out my size for that line. I've fit into size 4, 6, 8 and 10. So definitely try everything on, even if you're "pretty sure" it's your size. I don't really know a lot of people who shop at or even have access to a Kohl's in the city, so chances are you won't see anybody else wearing your outfit. On any given day, you'll see yourself surrounded by moms with their kids and old people, but don't let that fool you! With a good eye, you can definitely find some stunning pieces. The best time to go is in the morning. But note that on the weekends, your window for peaceful shopping time is a lot smaller than on the weekdays. read more

I went here to return a bunch of stuff people gave me, and I ended up spending over an hour (that's a huge amount of shopping time for me) wandering around. I bought some maternity stuff here, and then I bought some nursing stuff. The next time I stopped in (Babies R Us is next door, so it's wicked convenient) I bought a couple of capri style pants because my thighs are in no shape to make a public appearance. Listen, you try being a geriatric mom (yes, that's what I was called). See what your thighs look like. Then come talk to me. It was a much more pleasant experience than I expected. It's pretty spread out, and the aisles are wide...although space between racks is sparing. Weird. It's good for kiddie stuff, bras, home stuff, and anything else for which you don't need a Sex in the City name brand. If you can't find anything else, just buy some chocolates or something. The only annoying thing is that it's best to go pretty early. It tends to attract some real winners as the day drags on. read more

Well, besides the fact that the store itself is HUGE and has great sales on lovely products, the simple fact that this location employs more than one cashier on a busy day has me sold. Kohl's has a lot of great sales. We bought a lot of baby clothes here because of the great deals. They have some name brand things like Carters and everything else they have has been really great quality. I've washed things a lot and they really stood up to my toddler's abuse. Great place for sales on Children's clothes and that's it. My reason for five stars the store is always empty and clean. Staff is rather on the young side and not very helpful. No one is really on the floor to help you with your purchases which is often frustrating. They leave the clothing hooks out all around to the store to find it yourself. On the whole, Kohls is a great store (they have many all over the states). Specifically about this store ? The parking lot leaves a lot to be desired. There are sometimes "teams" or single cars from Jersey (noticed the Jersey license plates), that go around bothering customers here in the parking lot. They wave to you and stop you and ask you to have dents fixed. (Smiles, there was a three inch scratch and they wanted to pull the dent). Having visited this parking lot for years and years, I have to say this is a regular thing. Wish that security would stop them from coming into the parking lot. You might not notice them unless you are waiting for family or friends to come out of the stores, then look around and notice the Jersey dent pullers. The other thing about this parking lot is that during "holiday" season the lot is seriously crazy (right off the parkway brings lots of speeding traffic into the lot). I was in the store making a return. It was complicated because I had returned something one day and then bought it back and I brought the wrong receipt. A manager was called over I believe his name was John. He has helped me before and gave me 10 dollars kohls cash for an issue I previously had. But he remembered me and went to the back and pulled up the information and made the return for me. He was so patient and nice. I really appreciate everything he did for me. HATE I'm from the Midwest and have been subjected to Kohls for years. Never cared for it. This location however is dismal. I went there in search of bed linens and towels since I remembered that they usually have pretty good deals on such things. Took the bus there, walked across several parking lots, and entered the zoo that is Kohls. This place was a fucking WAR ZONE. Kids running around screaming, clothes all over the floor, cash wrap lines 16 long, are you kidding me? But since I went all the way out there I decided to stay. Found the escalator and went to peruse the home goods. The sheets and blankets were a disasterous mess. Stuff out of packages and all over the floors in the aisles. Kids running up and down the aisles, bumping into me. When I finally found something I wanted to take a closer look at, I blocked off the aisle with my stuff and a few comforters to get the two little ingrate monsters who were "playing" to go play somewhere else. I wanted to slap their parents. Found a comforter that I really liked. It was kinda expensive for what it was. But I did really like it. Picked up a sheet set too, which was a great price. Went back downstairs. Got in the shortest line, which was about 8 deep. Thought the two women at the front were together. They were, but paying seperately. The first one was apparantly "mistaken" on the price of all of her.... 25 items so that took what seemed like days. Then she whipped out several coupons that were mailed to her. The cashier told her she could only use one. She stood there with a calculator trying to figure out which coupon would make her purchase the cheapest. It's not rocket science. Obviously 30% off is better than 25% off. Whatever. After the transaction, she proceeded to stare at her receipt and ask stupid questions. Getting aggravated...... but I really wanted this $20 sheet set! Her I guess "friend" was a little better. Less talk, more transaction. Finally out of the way. I had been standing in this line for more than 15 minutes already. The men behind them all only had one item each, and all went swimmingly. When the line came down to the old man in front of me, I thought and hoped against hope that this would go as smoothly, it absolutely did not. He spoke almost no English and tried purchasing a $15 picture frame first with money from a country that definitely wasn't this one (didn't recognize the currency), then with coins, then with a $100 bill. He got lots of change and was confused, but left. My turn woohoo! Rang up the sheets, rang up the comforter, so far so good, but uh oh! The comforter doesn't have a thing to carry it with. It broke off. And I was like "I took the bus here, can you put in a bag?" so she tried shoving it in a bag. Too big. Tried shoving it in a slightly bigger bag. Too big. "You're just gonna have to carry it like this." "I know you have bigger bags," I said and pointed to a woman carrying an enormous bag from another register that the comforter would certainly fit in. "I don't have any of those bags?" "Well can you go get one?" "No." Aggravated. "Well can you at least make me a handle or something to carry this with? Like use some tape and a small bag and make a strap for me to carry?" "I can't do that. You'll just have to carry it like this" And I exploded. Explitives, walked-uphill-both-ways analogies, made tons of comments about rotten ungrateful children, filth, and useless employees, and stormed out. Unacceptable. We have been there countless times not to shop but to use the bathroom. The bathroom is clean which is rare in the area. But we have ended up buying a few items here. It is unfair for the employees to have to be day care workers when they are not being paid to do so. Parents in this area seem to leave their children to play alone for the day and the workers have to clean up after them. I saw some young children but not too young to speak playing alone and making a huge mess. An employee asked wheres your mommy and daddy? They said "having lunch they are gonna come get us when they are done." Seriously? The employees there must work really hard because they have to clean up the constant messes that these children make. We always see unattended children in the store every time we come. The bathrooms are clean so the employees must be always cleaning to make it this way because the store is usually pretty crowded. The store manager needs to impose some kind of restrictions on this there must be a McDonald's play zone somewhere near by. I am afraid for the children and feel bad for the employees. I think the other complaints about this store would be cleared up if the employees weren't baby sitting all day. You have to be legally certified to run a day care center and to my knowledge this store isn't. Never the less other than the unattended children it has a nice clean bathroom if you are in the area and the store has the same stuff all of the other Kohl's have. But as for shopping at Kohl's there always seem to be huge sales in Jersey, sales that NY doesn't have! read more

This place is a disaster. The return line and the online pick up is a Freaken mess. I was in line for returns with such limited employees that they have here , the wait is already a pain in the ass. Then there's someone that decides to pick up a package (she definitely got here after me ) and they take care of her along with her LUGGAGE FILLED of return items . So what the f*ck is the point of the split lines ? Next time I'll place an order for pick up in store and "pick it up" and return everything at once. They have the dumbest return system . I would first like to say k love kohl's but I always shop online. This was my first actually attending the store in person. Everything went great for the most part. Until its time to check out. I got cashier #5 around 7:30pm-7:45pm on dec 15,2021 dark hair light-skinned girl, horrible eyeshadow with wing liner. For starters i walk up to the register and she's on her phone completely has no idea I'm standing there. Second i was purchasing a hot-wheels racetrack for my son so it was a very huge box i placed on the counter. I asked the young lady 3 TIMES, was this box opened or those it come this damaged and with all her sassy attitude she ignores the first two time, the 3rd time her rudeness come out her face and she says "i wouldnt know" with a very stink attitude and body behavior. She proceeds to then cancel my card payment with her huffing & puffing in a kinda petty type of behavior . She also remains completely quiet & irritated, i basically checked myself out. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! The cashier had a very nasty attitude towards me and I didn't even do anything to her. I noticed she was carelessly and aggressively tugging at the sensor alarm off my dress and when I nicely suggested that I believe she needs to press the metal part to pull the sensor off (I've done retail and cashier before plus those were the same exact sensors I've removed before). She instantly dropped the dress on the counter and said with a nasty attitude, "there's no questioning on that." On this day they had the Memorial day sale which was taking $10 off your $25 purchase or more and she rudely told me to get a coupon at the door myself when nobody else had to do that because all the other cashiers had automatically taken the discount off for you. Later I looked at my dress and realized she has ripped 2 big holes where the sensor was attached. I'm debating to return it because it was the only dress left of my size. Later on she was being complained for charging 6 items when the customer only bought 5. I know this because at that time she was being complained she was ringing out my sister. She said to my sister that the complaint was too funny and she cannot even breath from laughing. She thinks her horrible customer service is very funny apparently. She should get FIRED period! I friggin love Kohls, man. I really do. They have so much great home stuff. I buy all my towels and sheets and decorative pillows and and and and.... Going right after a holiday...any holiday...they have so much stuff on sale. Ive got these gothic looking candle holders from there for $3 right after x-mas. I guess it was on sale b/c it was red? WHO CARES! Their sales are always awesome. Any time of year. They even sell toys. I bought a bunch of Dora stuff here for my niece for x-mas and it was cheaper than toys r us which is in the same shopping center. i love one stop shopping!
