The clothes are way too expensive for what they were! Random mix of items to wear as well, from overpriced tight denim to suits to accessories and button down sweaters. Pretty preppy but again, too expensive and the clothes didn't wow me. I'd stop by to feel cool about myself and my taste, but I wouldn't buy.

So far,all my clothes from here have survived the laundry cycle with absolutely no damage,so I am guessing its not too bad! The one MAJOR drawback here is that there are no trial rooms. This combined with the fact that most of the dresses come in a L,M or S rather than a dress size makes it quite difficult to get a perfect fit. Also,I wish the staff was a little more friendly and proactive.I have been here multiple times and have not even once been offered help from any staff member.(not even when I make my dumb,lost face!).Wish soneone would make an effort. Unfortunately, the older white bedraggled store clerk decided the white woman who arrived after me, time was more valuable. So, the white store clerk began to ring up the white woman. Thereafter, I took my black self with my black dollars and departed the store. Now, I reside around the corner from Tango. For almost thirty years I've lived in Brooklyn Heights. I've always found Tango's bridge line clothing overpriced and as far as style underwhelming. I only shop there in a pinch. You are better off going across the street to Housing Works. A few seasons ago, I bought a Valentino Black label cocktail dress at Housing Works. Similarly, last spring, I purchased a fabulous 2ply silk Balenciaga aqua blue cocktail dress. I didn't want my money back but just exchange the dress for the correct size. When I tried to exchange it the manager (I'm assuming he was the manager because I heard him calling other branches and asking how much money they took in that day) then began to check every single stitch on the entire dress inside and out then he sniffed the arm pits and declared that I had obviously worn the dress and was trying to cheat him. When I requested to have my dress back he shoved it at me with the receipt and refused to give me back the bag I had brought it in with saying that it belongs to the store. I don't understand how a clothing store can do business like this but I do know that I will never set foot in a Pretty Girl store again. I don't care how cheap their clothes are, I still have some standards on how to treat people.

We put together the best gift for my mom including matching accessories. This place truly has a unique inventory that you wont see anywhere else. I am a size 6 and there is plenty for me as well.
