This is a great store located on the busiest street in this neighborhood. They have tons of brands we all love (7forallmankind, JBrand, citizens, juicy, AG, Vintage Havana, splendid, free people, etc, etc.) They have a major denim selection. They carry all the new styles you can find in department stores, and have almost all sizes, even my hard to find petite 24. The young girls that work there are nice, and try hard to make you happy. As soon as they see you starting to look around, and get your hands on some things, they run over to you to help you start your fitting room (that are probably the smallest i've ever seen, but whatever). I love that they help you, it reminds me of the high end department stores personal shopping. You need help finding a size? Don't even bother to begin to look. Just ask the girls, they'll be more than happy to help find it for you while you carry on and look at there other merchandise. Any damaged, snagged imperfect items you find, they will always take off a few dollars if you ask them nicely. They always have great sales, especially now. They're in the process of moving next door to a much larger location. Everything has been ripped out and is being redone. So they're whole old location is basically on sale for a "Moving Sale". If you want a pair of expensive designer jeans that are usually out of your price range, now is the time to snatch up a nice pair around $100. I love their winter selection of sweaters, jackets, and fur vests. They are a little pricey and i'm sure you can go to a department store and find similar items cheaper. But the convenience here can't be beat. And they really do have an amazing selection, and fabulous sales too. The one reason I'm only giving four stars is because I do think that their old location is a little grimy and run down. The carpets are nearly black with dirt and dust, there are water stains through out the paint on the walls and ceilings. Once they have moved I will be updating on the hopeful cleanliness and glamor of their new and improved location. Now is definitely a good time for there move, instead of much needed renovations to this location. I still enjoy shopping here, and this in no way takes away from your shopping experience here. read more

My wife has had very professional advice from the owner and the salesperson Alex,.. so far....... Will post more even if there is no purchase. She is in pursuit of a gown and they seem to be the experts in customer service and merchandise. UPDATE. Originally Alex answered the phone, but said she'd get back to my wife because she was busy with a customer. (Why answer the phone then?) Well we got our answer ..via text! "Sorry not in stock" by Alex. I am surprised. I would think they would at least try to special order an item in a line they carry considering there are 4 stores they own. We were very hopeful from a conversation with the owner, but not even a "let me contact the merchant to order the item" as othet stores had offered but were in a different coast.Or "let me contact you when we get more stock in. Worst place to shop. I had bad experiences there and I descided not to shop there any more. I bought a skirt from cloth horse that didn't fit me. I went back for even exchange and they refused to do it. The old owner doesn't speak English doesnt understand his English speaking customers. Maybe great place for Russian customers but not Americans. I lost money and time there. Bad bad customer service. I hate it and there prices are much higher compare to Bloomingdales and Nordstrom. read more

Stay away from this store. Customer satisfaction is zero. I bought an XS dress from them for $250, but I didn't realize how small it was until I got home and tried it on with heels. It was too small, too short, and pulled by a hanger. I called the store and explained the situation, but they didn't even listen to me. All they said was, "Sorry, we can't exchange it for another item. It's a final sale." So I asked to speak with the owner, but the sales clerk said it wouldn't help and they were not sure when he'd be in. I asked if I could talk to him on the phone. They said he won't help me. They didn't even try to help me. They just cut me off. I hadn't asked for my money back. All I wanted was a credit so that I could get something that fit. When I finally reached the boss over the phone, he told me that he doesn't override his sales clerks' decisions. I asked if he could give me a chance to come to the store any show him the problem and he said "You can try but I am not sure if I will be in the store." I went to the store a few times, but he was never there. I went to a shoe store nearby and the sales clerk knew all about the other store. She told me she stopped shopping there because they ripped her off. She shops at Saks now and pays a fraction of the price. What's the bottom line? Don't shop there. The boss is a jerk and they'll rip you off. read more

I have been a very loyal costumer to clothes horse for many years now. I do mostly all my clothes shopping there- year round. I always have a fabulous experience and receive great assistance every time- except for this upcoming horror story I am about to tell. A few days ago I decided to purchase a new simple black dress for an upcoming event. The store was not busy at the time, and I was immediately greeted by a young associate "Sunny". When she asked what I was looking for I told her, a simple yet elegant black colored dress. She "pretended" to help me look rummaging behind racks and other clothing merchandise. After two minutes of "looking" she turns around and says, " I am sorry, typically our store does not cater to women your size". Was I hallucinating? This girl is lucky I was in a rush or she would have not been still standing. I do not plan to let this go, being discrimination is against the law. I am a size 8/10.....didn't know that that was THAT big! I guess this store only caters to SKINNY girls. Managers/owners: Maybe you should watch your associate, sunny more carefully. read more

This is the kind of store that has beyond amazing customer service . They go above and beyond to make you feel like not only are you getting a quality product . But all of your questions are answered. The products are well made and look amazing and feel wonderful on . I would recommend my friends and family to this wonderful store . Clothes Horse is definitely the place to shop, they have an amazing selection of clothes and jackets to satisfy todays fashion. I bought this beautiful winter jacket from them last year and unfortunately I was having a little problems with the buttons on my hood. I figured id go back to clothes horse to see is they might be able to do anything for me and yet I was amazed by how kind and understanding they were. The manager right away contacted the vendor and ordered extra buttons for my jacket. I was in shock by how simple the process was, their customer service is great. I had a pleasant experience with them, I highly recommend this store for shopping! read more
