Went here after work to grab some jeans for a last minute event. The store wasn't crowded, items were neatly organized and the one floor staff (just one) was attentive and supportive. The manager who cashed my item worked fast and was friendly. There was a 60% off sale. Got 2 pairs of jeans for $40. Cons: 1) There was another person working the register along with the manager and she was incredibly slow. I hope this was just a one time thing since it's the holiday season. I thought I was a smart shopper for opting for a store pick up at this location. Unfortunately, I am a dumb, dumb, dumb why would this location be any different because it's a store pick up? On the norm the line is long with only two cashiers so why would a store pick up change that. Well IT DIDN'T. I came to pick up my son's uniform pants for school the next day. When I entered the store (3) people were cashing out at the store pick up area so I had to wait and (4) other people were waiting on the line to be cashed out. By the time the cashier requested the scanner to look up my order all the customers on the line were gone. 15 mins later I'm still at the register and there is no scanner insight. I decided to go to the back and see where the scanner was and the so called manager was holding it in one hand and chatting away with coworkers. What in the world is wrong with this picture? I'm waiting for you and you here chatting with people you see every day! DONE! I asked her if she understood what being a manager is? before she could answer I walked away because I was liable to cuss her stink. I left the store pissed and praying GOD would take the wheel. The lack of respect and courtesy for customers is obvious. Every time I come to this location the line is long and there are only (2) cashiers and employees in the back chatting it up. I've contacted the corporate office and asked if the poor service in the store is due to it being a predominately black community? , lack of customer service training? the ceiling leaking more than water on the sales floor? or is it that they hire employees via inney minney miney moe? BOTTOM LINE: disappointing in-store experience Order online and pickup is likely a better experience. TIP/S: price check scanners now available ...WHO: moi WHY: browsing, then lengthy waiting then purchasing WHAT: (Deets) stood on line about 15 minutes to buy 2 pair of leggings. ONE person ahead of me. No acknowledgement until I asked the manager, who was chatting with an employee discussing how she's smiling because it's the end of her work day. Another customer came in for in store pick up, and he serviced her immediately despite me still waiting. No sense of urgency, or customer service. Additionally, the cashier didn't share the option to earn bonus cash to use toward another purchase beginning Nov. 28) until I asked for it, saying my purchase wasn't large enough. But, ma'am, you never even presented the option. I'm guessing this is a corporate training issue. I'm thinking with all the money that is spent on clothing and visuals, it is also important to do what you can to keep customers RETURNING to the store, and stacking on items while you are right there in front of the cashier. A shame really, because I may have invested if I wasn't told, "well, you didn't buy the other pants, so...". Again, I'm guessing this is a training issue. Overall VERY disappointing. Perhaps if I were getting a GAP credit card (the previous customer received all smiles and sunshine during her transaction), I would have received better treatment. This location is grossly understaffed. The lack of sufficient staff available to answer questions, or tidy up each clothing department make shopping here very unpleasant. Clothes are often disorganized. The lines are always long with only 2 people on the cash registers. The amazing sales get me through the door, but the disorganization and bad customer service always have me leaving prematurely. Old Navy, you need to do better :\ read more

This store didn't really seem crowded... I walked in, looked at the nice displays, and continued walking further into the store. Maybe it was the time of day (I guess) but, the place looked like a clothing train wreck. I looked around, section to section, at my leisure. After wasting time and finding one shirt that I liked, I decided to check out. I took the short walk to the registers and as soon as I turned the corner, I was on the back of the line. Where did all these people come from?? Why are people always on line but not in the store? To make it worse only two registers were open, although they have more. The line moved slowly, so slowly. To be fair I come to this store once in a while because it's an outlet store, the prices for camis and tank tops to work out in are good, and parking is always free and available. read more

Found a shirt for $4.98. Brought it to the register. It rang up as being $9. I politely informed the girl that the tag said a different price. She then accused me of peeling the tag off of another item of clothing and putting it on that one. So then she goes to "prove it" by showing how easily it peels off. It doesn't peel off easily, and rips the tag (because obviously it had been on that tag all along). She then continues to loudly accuse me of trying to get the shirt cheaper by switching stickers. I was appalled and left. I don't recommend shopping here, obviously. read more

I really can't understand this old navy. You have 10 cash registers but only have 3 employees working. I stood in line for 25 min and of course when it was my turn one of the cashiers went on lunch. I really wanted to reach over and grab her by her weave and tell her to get back to work. But in the end I got a great deal on my clothes. read more

This Old Navy is terrible! If you love to paw through disorganized stacks of out-of-season clothes, I would suggest finding a rummage sale instead. Also, apparently this is an outlet store but don't think that means you'll get a great price. It's more like, items won't be priced so it's a fun surprise when you get to the register. Unfortunately this is the only O N within walking distance of my apartment so unless I want to cough up subway fare, it's likely that I'll reluctantly return in the future. read more

Only reason I am giving this location any stars is because 1.. It's conveniently close to my apartment & 2.. Somewhat organized. Other locations 90% of the clothes are thrown in different places. Typically only 1 register opened so be prepared to wait in line for quite a while and usually sales items are marked incorrectly. I was purchasing jeans and apparently the ones I wanted were not the ones on sale .. Even though they were on the table with the sign and matched the description of the ones on sale. I was told they were not supposed to be there and the other colors were actually the ones on sale. I recommend going to other locations such as Fulton st. Brooklyn. That new location is worth going out of my way. read more

The store is disgustingly unorganized with unfolded clothes EVERYWHERE, nothing can be found, items all over the floor, etc. This store requires new management or needs to be closed!! Definitely the worst Old Navy in Brooklyn. The only time this place is somewhat tolerable is during the day, during the week. The store is always disorganized and a complete mess. There are NEVER enough registers open. The manager (heavy set white woman) is intolerable. She's loud, rude and not helpful in the least. I believe her name is Christina. Staff was friendly and helpful, but store is disorganized and the manager is disinterested in helping cutomers. I purchased some pants that were displayed on a table with a bright red sign that advertised a price of $8 per item, great deal! After paying I noticed I was charged roughly $30 for each pair of pants. I questioned one of the employees about the discrepancy in prices, he kindly explained that the price advertised was actually for polo shirts. Polo shirts? There were maybe 2 or 3 polo shirts on that display table, while the rest of the display was covered in the khaki pants I bought. I'd say the display was 95% khakis, 5% polo shirts. I asked to speak with the manager to sort out the confusion. After explaining the situation to her she very rudely pointed to a different sign located on an adjacent table that advertised the khakis for $30 a piece. When I pointed out the fact that the $8 display was pretty much all khakis and just two polo shirts, she pointed to a third shirt that was buried under khakis and exclaimed "No, there are three. They are just covered by khakis that customers threw on this table" (even though the khakis were perfectly folded and setup as if they were meant for that display table). Instead of accepting blame for their terribly organized set up that was meant to confuse the customers, she kept trying to place the blame on me. She was very disinterested in resolving the issue and ignored me to talk to another customer. Noticing she was not interested in helping in the least, I just told her she should organize her store properly to avoid confusing customers and left. Suffice to say I will never return to this Old Navy and suggest you go elsewhere to do your shopping. Only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because the rest of the staff (NOT the manager) were very friendly and actually placed the need of the customer first. read more

This Old Navy was a few blocks from my old apartment. I found the exact zip up hoody I was looking for (That I still have to this day, four years later). Additionally I found a nice blazer on sale. The staff was friendly to my needs. The men's section was not really disorganized, in short, this place gets five stars because I found what I wanted, it was on sale, got something else nice, and wasn't annoyed by the staff. read more
