Here you can feel the breeze of the estuary and watch the sunset over the Verrazano Bridge. This is where so many different cultural enclaves come together to fish, bike, rollerblade or take strolls. Bazaar feels like such an antiquated term. Maybe for you it conjures up images of a bustling market in the Middle East, replete with spices and silver tea sets. My memories from a Bazaar are from Ceasar's Bay, and so I think about the Black Friday stampedes at Best Buy, or the Toys R Us parking lot where I practiced driving a car for the license I never got. The bay has a storied past, which I'll leave for you to look up or ask a historian about. For now I can tell you this little strip mall + esplanade is not a bad place to while away the hours people watching in Southern Brooklyn.
