We stopped at this Target to get some travel items while we were on way to JFK airport to catch our flight. With few minutes way from JKF this one has a shared parking lot and also a Starbucks within the complex which make it even sweet. Tough to find parking as it was a busy weekday evening, otherwise standard Target inventory and prices. read more

Where there's a will, there's a way. When I couldn't find these Cadbury's Fruit and Nut chocolate bars at the Target on 18th Ave, I searched online and found that this Target had them. At first I thought this Target location was too far away from me. I made the trip out today and realized it wasn't. After getting to Bay Parkway station, it's about a 15 minute walk and thing to note is that that walk is pretty straight forward. I was thrilled to find these chocolate bars here and they were $2.49 for each 3.5oz bar which is less expensive than what CVS or Walgreens priced them. After I picked up some Cadbury's, I checked out other sections of the site since it was my first time shopping here. I asked the Target employee what does $0.29 for the bananas mean. Is it $0.29 per bunch or power pound? He said per bunch. When I got home I realized my receipt says $0.29 per banana. I was a little disappointed that he gave me incorrect info. I should have asked more clearly. I also bought Thomas's cinnamon and raisin swirl bread and English muffins which were good. I went through the self checkout pretty easily. Overall, everything was good. I also have to say this Target is pretty big. I'm looking forward to shopping here again. read more

This Target is a very strange puppy and I have a love/hate relationship with this store. They can never seem to fulfill online orders properly. Either they put in the wrong item or they cancel items and tell me they're no longer in stock after I've arrived to pick them up. Can't they do that before they send me a confirmation email for pickup? At least then I can plan accordingly and find that item somewhere else. Their excuse or reasoning for missing items is always: technical issue. Assuming they canceled my order because they ran out of a specific item (I.e. Mozzarella cheese) I then find said item in stock in the refrigerator. WTF? It's a big store that has lots of items in stock, but for whatever reason they don't know or care to fill online orders properly. read more

This Target store is bright, clean, well organized and fully stocked with items. On a Tuesday during rush hour, it wasn't packed with shoppers, so moving through it was easy. The presence of a NYPD officer at the entrance provided me a wonderful feeling of protection against all of the recent "smash and grab" robberies. There's a large parking lot outside that serves all the stores in that shopping area but most drivers are determined to secure the parking spaces closest to Target and will hassle you for your spot if you appear to be just idling. read more

It's hard to rate a retail giant like Target based on one location, so this review is solely based on this specific one. Customer service here is atrocious. Every single staff member is seen aimlessly wandering or chatting amongst each other and give you a dirty look when you ask for help; as if you're interrupting their gossip session. I had a very bad experience with a specific employee named LIAM, who ignored my greeting, snatched the product from me while giving me a dirty look, and then saying an audible "ew" when I turned my back to walk away. The manager made things right but things like this is common at this Target. The selection of products is okay, for a target in the city it's about what you can expect. read more

Very disappointed with the Target on Bay Parkway. My family and I have been loyal customers for over 5 years -- we shop there almost every day, sometimes multiple times a day. I bought an Apple Watch and was told by a store employee that I had 30 days to return it. No one mentioned the 14-day return policy for electronics. I came back just one day after the return window closed with the watch completely unused and in original packaging. I was told there was nothing they could do -- no return, no exchange, no store credit. It's unacceptable, especially since I was misinformed by their own staff. The kids that work are all very nice, and seem to be having a good time. But it's nearly impossible to get out of here quickly, as everything is locked up. Night Manager Jerry, declined to give me an item that was the only of its kind, placed wrongly on the shelf for the price that it was there for. Granted, it would have been for half the price, but isn't this procedure, when you stick incorrectly. I asked for a heated blanket, then a store worker walked to an area showing me something mattress warmers. I grabbed it because I thought it was a nice price, and headed downstairs to pay. There was no tag at all, showing the amount he mentioned, no where. Not even close to the amount. I'm not good with this, Jerry. It's not my fault that your shelves are stocked incorrectly. I can't tell you how glad I am that there is a Target in this neighborhood. Everything is well organized. The employees are helpful. In the morning around 8ish, I went to the second floor to browse the books aisle. The employee is always restocking them during that time. Beautifully done and amazingly thoughtful, this Target hits the spot by filling the void of aimless shoppers like myself with their presence at this end of Brooklyn. It's a two-floor spacious store with ample hand sanitizing stations, tidy shelves of inventory, and pleasant employees. You can lose yourself weaving up and down the aisles (in a good way), and find the items you were looking for as well as things you didn't have an idea you needed. Fitting rooms are present but are not accessible at the moment due to the pandemic. Starbucks is inside the store near the cashiers so give yourself an energy boost before and/or after the shopping experience. The store was empty for the longest time when the prior occupant ran out of business years ago, and many Brooklynites wondered what will grace this lot. Visiting this Target location was a kind of emotional trip for me. When i was a kid and lived in the Bay Parkway/Bensonhurst area I would make weekly trips to the Toys R Us at Ceasar's Bay. This was often a multi-hour journey for me as I walked there from the other side of the neighborhood, stopping at a comic shop along the way and getting a meal. A lot of fond memories are wrapped up in this building even though it is now completely renovated and a (relatively) new Target in Brooklyn. Unlike the Toys R Us that occupied this space, this Target is made up of two floors, putting it on par with the location at Atlantic Terminal (though I think that one may be larger). When I visited the store was bright, clean and organized. Being in pandemic times, their shelves were not exactly totally stocked with product, but they had enough for folks to make a good shopping trip. The action figure section (that I frequent at most Targets) was rather bare. Other sections however with cleaning supplies were better stocked. It's definitely worth a visit if you're doing a general shopping trip. read more

When the Toys R Us closed in Ceasers Bay I had no idea what would be able to fill the huge space they left behind. Based on my first foray into the space, Target looks to hit the (pun intended) bullseye. Converted from one floor to two, this Target mirrors many of the full sized layouts in suburban shopping centers, with ample space for clothing and food on the lower level and a upstairs section covering homewares, electronics and kitchen goods. Although the store was still cold opening (rather ironic given the warm weather), it was very well staffed and most items were well stocked despite the flows of people cascading through the doors. Given two other major tenants in the shopping complex are no longer operating (Babys R Us and Models) parking is plentiful. read more

Not as huge as the other locations but this is a godsend for the Bensonhurst community. Right next to Kohl's where parking is a breeze (if you drive). The produce section sucks IMO. Not enough variety. Its lackluster veggies and fruits are not worth the price point. Go elsewhere. I get better quality at Whole Foods or Trader Joe's and it's usually organic. The grape tomatoes were ROTTING w/ mold. I had no choice but to purchase the cocktail tomatoes. There's a lot of associates on the floor (a bit too many if you ask me). So, if you need help, there is always someone around. The prices online vs in store can be a little different. Online prices seem just a tad less (10¢+) so if you are a budget shopping penny pincher, do in store pick up so you can pay a bit less. You can ask the cashier to price match, but i don't think you'll want to do that for 20 items lol. If you do this, no judgement. However, the cashier may want to strangle you in their head. Carts are located in the front of the entrance. This location doesn't sanitize the carts like the other ones I've been to. Hopefully that changes in time. People all wear masks and enforce social distancing to some degree. Be mindful and respect people's spaces, folks. Vaccinated or not, covid is real! There are self check out machines if you want to avoid contact. Returns can easily be done in front of the store. People were generally friendly. I've been to many targets but this one is not laid out correctly. It's a large store with a lot of room yet the shelves are empty and everything is spaced out far apart. Apart from there being a Starbucks which there's one just outside on the corner I can't see any reason to go into this target they didn't even have basic things such as aspirin was all sold out. For a brand new store to have only two stalls in the women's bathroom with a line going outside is terrible- The target on Erskine is 100 times better than this I wouldn't even waste my time going here again read more

I've shopped at this branch twice, I never will again. On my first visit, the conveyor that takes the shopping carts upstairs jammed. Rather then have a professional service it, management sent a teenage boy to crawl down the chute to unstick it, risking bodily injury. Yesterday on my second visit, there were no cashiers. The manager knew this because he was standing opposite the cash registers. Is anybody aware that elderly and disabled people find self checkout pretty much impossible.? Or that state and city law requires businesses to accommodate disabled people? To compound the stupidity of forcing everyone into self Checkout, there was a single employee assisting people there. The kid couldn't possibly keep up with scanning in my ID ( I bought beer ) removing the anti theft tags and other issues people had. The anti theft tags were beeping up a storm as people exited the store. I recommend this place to shoplifters, nobody will notice. read more

New target at Caesar's bay! Two floors and it's pretty spacious. They also have the escalators for the carts and one for you right next to it like at Costco's. They have a Starbucks inside right by the entrance. They also have price scanners around the store. Lots of variety for makeup and clothes. CVS pharmacy is inside this target. Overall, pretty pleased with this target and will be back to enjoy my target shopping spree. read more

The store is nice size for strolling. It's not fully stock, there are empty shelves here and there especially in the food section. The self checkout line is always a long wait while no one goes to the in person cashier lines. You'll know why when you use a in person cashier. I encountered one of the rudest. Even if you are polite to them they make you feel unwanted. I said " thank you, have a nice day" to the rude cashier when I finished bagging my stuff. She didn't say anything back and just gave me an obnoxious eye roll . Best is to avoid the cashier check outs. read more

Sooo excited to finally have a target in the neighborhood. I placed a pick-up order at 10AM today and they had everything ready for me by noon. I didn't have time to stay and browse but my in-store pick up was absolutely seamless. My order was correct, my items were handed to me in a free cute tote bag that was sealed. I was in & out within 10 minutes. I have absolutely no self control when it comes to shopping @ target because I'll come for one item and leave with 20 :') so I just use the online order function so I don't go overboard. read more

The other barista that took the order was unprofessional and never asked for a name to call up for orders with me ending up receiving my order later than usual. I had to go up to the counter to ask and receive annoyance from the employee. So I just got fired from my job at target because i argued with the "store director". It all started because last week I started my period and didn't have any pads or anything so i bought some and one of the male managers told me that i cant buy pads on the clock and that i had to wait until my break (which wasn't for about 2 hours from then) and i bought them anyways so the dude reported me. That day i talked with the "store director" and she basically told me that it wasn't anyones problem that i got my period and that i was wrong for getting pads. Ok cool whatever. Ever since there's been tension between me, her and the guy. Fast forward today and i clocked In at 12pm for my shift and i was looking for a scanner to use and was even told by one of my Team Leaders that i could wait a little bit for one. While I'm waiting (only 5 mins has passed) a coworker offered me her device and that's when the "store director" come out of her office and asked if i needed anything and what i was in there for. I told her i didnt need anything and that i was looking for a zebra. She says "do you see any zebras down here" so i didnt respond because she said it in a sarcastic way. That's when she starts going off on me for not responding to her and she said that if we had to have a discussion again that it'll be worse than our other conversation from the other day. I said ok cool and walked away and she follows me to tell me to step into her office. Boom, while we're sitting there she's telling me how I have an attitude problem and how everyone a higher up talk to me i have an issue with it (which isn't true because i got along with all of my coworkers) and how I need to check myself because if i dont like my job then i should leave. I told her that wasn't the case and I told her that she and her employees are disrespectful so she cannot be mad if we express that back. That's when she goes off and start rolling her eyes and neck and starts standing up so i stand up too and continued to tell her about herself. Mind you I'm calm the whole time and she's yelling at me. Eventually she tells me to leave her office and get to work and as I'm walking out she says "matter of fact take off your name tag, put that device back and leave the building" and i did just that. For over a month now I've kept quiet and just did what i had to do but theres so much a person can take. This Target is new to the neighborhood and is huge! Bigger than the location on 18th Ave and parking is endless because there's a whole lot for cars!
