This universe was aligned completely on todays visit OMG. I had $20 kohl's cash with an extra $10 off if I made a purchase in a specific time frame so I went shopping. So I grab a casual shirt that fits my personality and go to pay and the cashier says you have a penny coming back to you. So I say I don't want penny and how did $20 kohl's cash get me a free shirt. The cashier explained that the shirt was on sale/marked down -$20 and -$10 if I made a purchase during a specific time period so my shirt ended up being free today, NICE. read more

I used to love Kohl's. There was a corporate shift where they had nothing but Champion sweat wear, so I stopped shopping there. I've slowly become an infrequent online Kohl's customer during Christmas only. I get the bill and pay in full. I attempted to pay my bill and noticed the account number was different. Kohl's no longer handles the credit aspect of the business and now it is a Kohl's Capital One Card. I couldn't send a bank check because my bank doesn't recognize the company. I called the number on the bill. The first thing on the recording was: "we need to update your account. What is your income?" Really? I just want to pay the bill! After screaming "customer service " I was connected to someone who couldn't speak English very well. I begged her to repeat herself so many times my head hurt. Well, they don't allow payment via debit card and wanted my routing number etc. - too much trouble. I called the store and was connected to someone who sounded exactly the same as the other lady. I couldn't understand her and begged for someone else . The nice lady at the store explained that they no longer handle billing and I would have to pay in store. She was pleasant, spoke English and did her job. As soon as I pay the bill I will close my account . Paying a bill should not be this difficult! They are quickly wrecking a once valuable business. read more

Im not sure why there's not many recent reviews on here for Kohl's. I just recently stopped by at this kohl's for a quick purchase. I was greeted at the door, and was helped when I needed assistance in looking for certain things. The store was well organized and put together. The staff was very nice, & I even became a kohl's cash rewards member during my purchase! I will definitely be back to this location again. read more

I love how you can drop your Amazon packages off here for return. When they give you your receipt, they give you 25% off coupon, hooking you into their store. It's a decent store, which has all kinds of things from close to appliances. I wish their staff were a little more enthusiastic about doing their job. Was completely caught off guard that a Kohls in this decade was SO spotlessly clean! Every, and I mean EVERY department was organized and neat! Even the shoe department! The employees were helpful and cheerful. What a huge difference. This made for a pleasant shopping experience. read more

Twice I went to Kohls this week on 84th St and 27th St. They must have a lot of shoplifting because I can tell when I am being followed and or watched. Some old guy raced to the outside door to sit in the hallway when I was heading out the door. When I went out the door to the parking lot, I noticed he quickly raised his butt off the bench thinking the alarm was going to go off, and he could catch me. Are you serious??? Is there a rash of senior citizens shoplifting lately? I am surprised I am targeted. I can't for the life of me figure out what I am doing to warrant their interest. A female at the 27th St store was so obvious it was laughable. I thought I would approach her and see what she does. I went right up to her and asked if she was security. She was stunned for a bit, then she studdered a bit and said she is just looking at socks. Not the response I would expect...then she disappears real quick. Then a new face comes on the floor to harrass. I wonder if they photograph people so they know when they are in another store? Am I being profiled? If there were more than 10 people in the store, I would be surprised. So what's with all the gestapo tactics? How about asking those employees to put carts by the door so customers can get one. I had to look all over for a cart that didn't have a child extension to it. Never found one. The child cart I used was filty and had garbage in it. Maybe they could clean and vacuum them once in a while instead of making their customers feel like thieves. read more

Decent store but can be a little difficult to find what you want. Frankly I like that I do not get profiled here (the little things). I also like that they accept Amazon returns, which is why I came. So while I was here I looked for a special pair of Adidas shoes that are gym shoes, but can wear like dress shoes, but they did not have the exact model I was looking for. What is nice about this model is it is hard to see their pattern on the side (the 3 stripes). But they have a lot of good deals here, and you can save money just by downloading their app, and connecting to their wifi read more

I usually travel to this location despite others being closer. The staff are always more than accommodating and there is usually a very good selection of clearance clothes. Today I ran the staff through quite a few hoops trying to check inventory at other stores for me and everyone did it with a smile. There was NO shortage of help - I went to EVERY department and there was a knowledgeable staff member readily available. My only wishes that would have made this a 5-Star visit: The store could have used a quick sweeping (receipts and tags everywhere), my size was not in stock (though it was clearance, so that's not their fault), and on a corporate level the cologne and socks/underwear prices are WAY overpriced... even with coupons. I wish they price-matched. In any regard, I highly recommend this location and will continue giving them my business! read more

This Kohl's is my "go-to" place for underwear, T shirts, dress shirts and... pretty much all my everyday type clothing. You can't beat the quality, named-brand selection or the prices. As if the prices weren't good enough, Kohl's offers multiple coupons and specials... if you don't find 'em in print, just get Online either on their website or a coupon site and you're sure to find a current offer. All the clerks/stock folks on the floor are helpful and have positive, polite and friendly attitudes. Parking is NEVER an issue. Huge lot at the corner of North Ave. and 124th. In general, Kohl's is "ok" at best. It's worth a stop for basics like shoes, Levi's, housewares, underwear, etc - basically, the stuff you hoped you wouldn't get for Christmas. The clothing is generally cheaply made and looks like crap after a few washes, but you didn't pay much for it anyway. Three things that irritate me about Kohl's: 1. Omnipresent "sales" - everything is on sale, all the time. What's the point? Just reduce the prices of everything 20-30% and get on with it. 2. Jumbly, cluttered mess everywhere - things are poorly organized and aisles are tiny. 3. There's only ever one or two registers open On the positive side, this particular store has remodeled it's dressing areas and they are far nicer than in the past. Still, Kohl's is the place I go when I know I need something I'm going to wear once. read more

Clothing departments are sparse. Used to be able to find decent clothes there, but now there is literally nothing. Also prices are too high & marked up so that they can go "on sale". You can get the same item at Walmart for less than Kohl's "sale" price. read more

The lady in Sephora was beyond rude. She didn't acknowledge me even though she saw me walking around for over 10 minutes trying to find something. Then, when I walked into the same aisle as she was, she just walked away and didn't even look in my direction. I felt very discriminated against being that I was a man with a purse shopping at a beauty store and was not acknowledged once. read more

This Kohl's is huge and well stocked. I came specifically looking for tennis shoes and I thought their selection was good. There were an assortment of shoe boxes people had left on the bench and not put away yet (I always put my own away, how hard is that?!) but still enough room to sit down and try things on. I always find Kohl's prices to be reasonable and the thing I come to get always seems to be on sale! I didn't have to wait a long time for a cashier at all and we were on our way. I would recommend this store to someone over the other one I have been to, in Bayshore, because the selection is bigger. read more

"Wisconsin's flagship department store with uber-discounts and an oft-rotating selection." My history with Kohl's goes way back -- my mom worked part-time at a location while I was in high school & I worked on a holiday season-basis assisting with inventory and gift wrapping as well as returns. I prefer this location over the Bayshore unit strictly because the parking is plentiful and the store always seems to be clean. That's not to say it doesn't have flaws -- the aisles can be a bit narrow, so good luck getting a cart through there -- it certainly does, but for me the positives outweigh the negatives. Customer service folks are very helpful -- though there never seem to be many employees walking around the store -- the discounts are deep, and there is a lot to choose from. I enjoy the multitude of pants, shirts, and ties found in the menswear section, and the kitchen area is top-notch. On a recent visit, I purchased (as advertised) about $800 worth of clothing and paid a shade over $350. That's a deep discount, my friends, and the quality has been great. The additional deals/coupons you receive if you hold their charge card are nice, but it can get slightly annoying to receive a mailing seemingly every other week. It's a solid store if you're looking for decent clothes, housewares, and other items and you don't want to bust your budget -- A-OK in my book. read more

I've been to this Kohl's a number of times. There are some good, some bad, as displayed below. I wish we could give 1/2 stars - I would give this store a 2-1/2 star rating. The pros : - This Kohl's is a model for Kohl's HQ - they have a model display set up in the back of the store (behind the walls) so Corporate can come in and see how the displays will look a season or two ahead of time. Not that it makes this store better or worse, but this way you know the store is always going to try and make it look the best when HQ bigwigs come in. - Because of this, the displays always look their best. There are rarely clothes strewn about or on the floor. Makes for a little bit better of a shopping experience. - Staff are usually friendly, since they never know who'll show up from HQ or be watching out for the usual customer service slip ups. The cons : - Always a long wait time at the registers. They have like, 20 registers, but only 2 people working at peak times. - The times I do shop at Kohl's, I usually see something in the ad that I specifically want. Unfortunately they are out of my size the majority of the time. I rarely go home with what I intended to buy. (Wasn't RMS supposed to correct that issue?) - Although clean - it tends to be very cluttered with narrow walkways. Normally not a huge deal, unless you are trying to navigate a cart through the aisles with a million other people. - I realize this is a housekeeping issue - but they really need to clean the bathrooms more frequently - or at least check to see if they are up to 'standard.' Last time I went in the bathroom, there was a big surprise in the first stall, and it was clear it had been there for a while. Gross. read more

This store is clean and fairly organized. It's one of my more favorite locations in the Milwaukee area. In my visit today, I waited at the counter for over 15 minutes as I was trying to get a price of a clearance handbag. Seemed like to took a bit long for me and no manager got involved. Thankfully the cashiers in the area were very nice and told me how patient I was. As Kohl's always is, it's hit or miss! read more

I come to this store every once in a while because it is close to work. There is always a a sale going on and I can always find something that I like that is reasonably priced. I do like the shoe section because there is always something there that I like. It's an average store and there is nothing special about the store. read more

I found this Kohl's to be less than stellar in stock. There were very few jean options and the shoes were pretty well picked over. Maybe I went here just before a restocking shipment. ? Employees walk around asking you to sign up for credit cards and refuse to accept NO as an answer. Repeatedly said NO and still the employee tried to give me the " advantages of opening a credit card lecture " so I walked away Complaining to manager didn't even help. According to manager " It's her job to get credit card apps regardless if you want one or not. ". A phone call is now necessary to corporate. Plus I will make sure how disgusted I am with Kohl's to all my friends. read more

I had 5 Amazon returns. I didn't appreciate having to walk to the back opposite wall of the store when you used to be able to return them at customer service desk in the FRONT of the store in an OBVIOUS PLOY to make people have to wade through ALL the merchandise to get to the Amazon desk. Then that person was rude and very inconvenienced that I didn't put all my returns on one ticket. Oh and another waiting line gauntlet with toys this time in case little kids weren't screaming at their parents enough having to truck to the back of the store. Of course the reward to shut them up is the eye level row of legos they get to whine for every second it takes to return Amazon's crap. Very, very clever piece of manipulation on the subconscious's of your customers, Kohl's. After this ordeal, I had to pick up an online order, so I went back to customer service and stood in the online pick-up lane. They were busy. One clerk asked if I had a return for Amazon (because I was holding the package my returns were in. I told her no. Then the male manager piped up and said, "So is that an Amazon return then?" Uh...no. I'm still in line for my online pick-up. "Oh!," he says. "You didn't say anything!" Uh...well I figured WAITING IN THE ONLINE PICK-Up LANE said it all!! He tells me that's "okay, " they'll get my stuff. Like it was a favor. I won't be returning to the Brookfield Kohl's again. Ever. read more

I will never shop at Kohls again. I would rather spend more at another store and actually get good service then give them any of my money. When trying to exchange a shirt that was the wrong size they didn't have it in the size we needed. I asked if we could have them order it for us online and still do an even exchange. (I know stores can do this as I worked retail in college). They said no that I had to order it at home then come back into the store with both shirts to return the one that was given to us as a gift in the wrong size. Then when I asked for them to look up my kohls card number the associate pointed me to the phone and said I needed to call in to customer service and she couldn't help me. It is ridiculous that the associates can't seem to help with anything in the store and you have to do all the work for them. read more

If I could give this star a 1/2 I would also. Employees are very very rude especially in the bathroom section. My boyfriend and I couldn't make up our minds on the towels we wanted and kept going back and forth on which we wanted. So then the employees started mimicking us and laughing at us and make very rude comments out loud to each other. And then saying that it was all clean then customers came and ruined what they just fixed. Everytime I give this place another chance it always fails us.
