We stopped here while visiting from out of town for a quick lunch. This little burger joint is found at the back of a thrift store and has a few tables and some bar seating. The burgers are cooked to order and are made halal for those who follow the diet. I ordered the tahini burger and my husband ordered the shawarma wrap and we both got fries and cokes. Our bill was about $24. The burger was huge - and chargrilled. I felt like the tahini flavor was a bit lost with the other toppings and wished I had tried the regular burger with a garlic sauce, but the meat was juicy and cooked perfectly to order. The fries were plentiful and seasoned - just ask for ketchup. I think they would have been better with a side of tzatziki or garlic sauce to compliment the other flavors. My husbands wrap was toasty and crisp, with perfectly pickled veggies. For a quick lunch, this is a great option. read more

I think we have a new "best burger joint" in the city. Several tasty options, including a falafel smash burger that is an amazing alternative to beyond burgers and something I order regularly just because it tastes amazing. Great wings, and the seasoned wedges have been a great side. This is a new regular spot. Lunch. Dinner. Look for the burger light in the window. No nonsense, just great food. read more

Really good falafel...big portion too...very tasty potato wedges..friendly service too..a little difficult to find but worth it..next time the kofta burger read more

Hands down my favorite place to dine in our Eastwood community. It's located inside of Marketplace on James, right next door to the Curd Nerd. Not only is Jullen one of the most kindest and most talented chef's I've ever met, but he owns and operates this lovely restaurant. His Mediterranean flavor profiles mixed with proper seasoning, and cooked to perfection temperatures, whether it be his burgers, pita wraps, or shawarma, there isn't something on the menu I haven't inhaled. We go there weekly and are never disappointed. Humble brag - I had the pleasure of painting his "Kofta" mural and working with him through that project was nothing short of a dream. I'm so grateful it adds to what already is an extraordinary space, but if I do say so myself, I love seeing all the pictures of his mouth watering food in front of it. Stay wonderful Kofta Burger, and see you real soon! read more

Clean and friendly. Service was polite and friendly. Quiet spot for dine in on a Wednesday evening.

I decided to give this place a try. I'm not used to the city and actually walked past it. I ordered there All American burger comes with a side of potato wedges. The burger was excellent one of my top 10 burgers I've had. The potato wedges well the seasoning was fine but they are large too of a wedge for my taste. The can soda they serve was good. This seems to be a single person operation very polite good service. The ambiance not my cup of tea but fairly simple. Was a good meal over all. read more

Interesting menu. Good burgers! We tried the Greek smash burger and the Kofta burger. Everyone was happy!

The best thing I can say about this spot after my first visit is everything is perfectly seasoned from the burger to the potato wedges. When the chef asked me how I wanted the burger cooked, I knew I was in the right spot. I will say the burger was a little over a mid rare but it was so juicy, it didn't matter. I'm not sure what the grind mix is, but he's got it figured out. I'm posting a picture of the American burger, the Kofta burger, and potato wedges. For my personal preference, the wedges could be cooked a tad more but they definitely weren't undercooked. I just like a little more crispy. Both burgers were excellent: Buns toasted, toppings fresh, ratios right. This might be the best burger spot now in Syracuse (sadly not a ton of competition imo). Cool dive vibe in there too. read more

Tried the kofta burger today. I took mine to go as there isn't much seating inside. Love that it's located in the back of a thrift shop so you can look around as you wait; Although my order was right on time. I love a burger that doesn't require any extra addition of sauces. This was delicious! Seasoned, juicy, and all the flavors complimented perfectly. It does come w a side of potato wedges that are also very flavorful w a hint of sesame and other seasonings. I would definitely like to try some of their other dishes! read more

Stopped here after a long trip. Wonderful food! Burgers were delicious and the grilled chicken salad was excellent.

Wish I took pictures to showcase how beautiful the food looked as well but it tasted so freaking good my husband and I scarfed it down so fast. Got the kofta burger and the nachos...literally some of the best flavors I've ever tasted. Burger and flank steak in the nachos were cooked to perfection and the toppings on both just brought them over the top. RUN don't walk to Kofta Burger!!! read more

The signature burger is delicious and a truly clever flavor combo. We also had the shakshuka burger special, which was also very tasty if not quite as good as the original. We thought that the pita nachos were a little less successful. Might be better if the pita was crispy? - (like a tortilla chip.) Zatar fries also tasty, but my personal taste runs to more crispy on those as well. Bottom line - we'll probably go back next time we're in the vicinity! read more

Great little spot! Food was delicious and cute little shop attached to browse while waiting for food to be prepared.

Got the "Kofta" burger and fries. Tasted great even after I had to take it home and eat it 20 minutes later. Having said that, I won't be going back. Burger was not much bigger than a slider and the fries were a steak-cut/potato wedge type thing of which I received about 5-6. This cost me about $18+ with a small tip. Not filling, at all! I could have eaten twice as much, honestly. The patty was smaller than the bun and when eating out, that's beyond unacceptable. That's backyard cookout stuff... read more
