Chicken, beef and lamb over rice with salad and sauce with two slices of pita over the top to soak up the juices! All for $15. I really feel like i got more than my money's worth, enjoyed the meal, and would go back hoping to try something else but would likely get this again because it was so good. I truly appreciated her patience, professionalism, and valuable input as we worked through menu options for approximately 95 guests. Most importantly, the food was amazing! Our attendees enjoyed the meal, and we received many positive comments about the quality and variety of the food. The catering delivery arrived about 30 minutes earlier than the scheduled time. Looking through recommendations I came across Mr. Bigg's restaurant. I am always open to try different cuisines and one for sure was Caribbean/ Jamaican when I am back home. It was definitely surprising how fast it was made and delivered but then I also noticed it was located pretty close to my hotel. I ordered the Oxtail with beans & rice, plantains, steamed cabbage and an additional side of corn bread. First bite was a delicious. The oxtails are tender fall of the bone. Great depth of flavor and texture was delicate. Plantains are nice in flavor and color, steam cabbage is steamed nicely not watery, rice was a great compliment and the corn bread was moist and sweet. Overall I appreciated the food from Mr. Bigg's restaurant. I did not have a chance to stop in around the city for restaurant due to my schedule but this was a great presentation of what the restaurant offers. Caribbean cuisine is something I do not often get but when I do, I never am disappointed. I would recommend this and especially if you like a meal that is full of flavor, spices and possibly put you to sleep haha

Since we are vegetarians, we only took kadhi pakora, dal, and saag. Because I have a wheat allergy (including maida and atta) and gluten allergy, I simply requested a separate paper bag, small piece of foil, or even a paper napkin for the roti and samosa so they would not get mixed with the other food. My request was clearly denied. The server explained that there are cameras everywhere and that he gets scolded for giving out extra items. It was extremely uncomfortable to hear this as a customer. When a restaurant is so focused on monitoring every paper bag or piece of foil that a guest with a food allergy cannot be accommodated, something is seriously wrong with the customer service. I have no complaints about the food itself, but this behavior was unacceptable. A simple request related to a food allergy should be treated with basic consideration, not as though the customer is asking for something unreasonable. I have attached a copy of my bill and a photo of the buffet takeout box for reference. This was my last visit. I would especially caution people with food allergies or dietary restrictions, because based on my experience, your health-related requests may not be taken seriously. Zero stars for the way this situation was handled.

The restaurant itself was clean and inviting, with peaceful instrumental Christian music playing in the background. One of our favorite parts was getting to talk with the owner, Sy, at the end of our meal. We found out that he is also a pastor, and they close the restaurant on Sundays so they can host church services. It's always special to come across a local business where you can see someone's faith being lived out in their everyday life. Highly recommend you check out this gem!
