Given that we were late in the day, there were also a few things on the menu that weren't available such as the yam fufu but that's okay. Had I did not realize that this place serves Ethiopian food in addition to other African and Caribbean food so I was absolutely overjoyed to order some familiar foods off of the menu! My husband had the tibs with potatoes and carrots and beets. He found the peppers to be fresh and bright and delicious, and the beets were tenderly cooked. He definitely was regretting not asking for it to be spicy because this was not spicy at all! A great point for dipping your toes into Ethiopian food without the intense spices and flavors that it is known for. I had the signature spinach and beef with cassava fufu and it was quite spicy and very flavorful! The spinach was obviously very fresh and high quality and retained a beautiful bright color of green. I am hoping to come back with more people earlier in the day to try out more of their food!
