Bf had the fried catfish, it was so good. Nice big pieces of fish. They cook the meat when you order so it takes around 25 minutes but it is well worth the wait. We had cabbage, baked Mac and cheese, yams, and cornbread. Everything was very good. We can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. Portions were big. We also got the peach cobbler cinnamon roll to go I'm glad we did, it's delicious. The restaurant is nothing fancy but it's clean and they had some great older R&B music playing. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Royceann. She is an amazing woman and a delight to talk with. We will definitely be going back

We got the chicken wings, baked Mac and cheese, candied yams, and corn bread. The chicken wings took a little while to cook, but the wait was well worth it when we received the steaming hot and perfectly spiced and crispy wings! Delicious! The candied yams were very good and the corn bread and Mac and cheese were both pretty good as well. We will definitely be back on a Thursday to enjoy the fried tacos! The person working also came out and checked to make sure everything was good. There was a nice personal touch to the food and the whole experience. We also appreciated the location because it gave our son a fun little area to play in and stay occupied. He loved the puppet show and the whole space was just very inviting and clean. Can't wait to come back and bring and some friends!

It had to be broken down for me. Service was outstanding by the owner, kind lady. Plenty of parking, strip mall. I would definitely go again if ever passing through.

The space is cute and roomy enough to enjoy your food without feeling crammed--and trust me, you'll want to savor every bite. I had the fried chicken and catfish plate and thought the chicken was unbeatable. Crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The catfish was solid too, but I'd come back for the chicken alone. The sides? Generous portions and all the comfort you could want--just don't argue over them (or do, I won't judge). Now let me put you on to the real star of the show: the peach lemonade. I'm not exaggerating when I say it's the best I've ever had. Sweet, refreshing, and dangerously addictive. The staff makes the experience even better--friendly, warm, and genuinely funny. It's the kind of place that makes you feel like family even if it's your first time. Go here. Support them. Bring friends. Leave full and happy.

We also ordered a small seafood gumbo and it also was tasty although I wish it had a bit more seafood but I understand that's an expensive product today.
