Missing from my order was all three sides that came with the family meal. That included a large mashed potato, large coleslaw and large Mac & cheese. I find it so disappointing when you can't serve your family a meal because there are no sides. Whether you are dine in, drive up or delivery, you should still receive the same service. All orders should be double checked and made complete before leaving the kitchen. If I am paying my hard earned money on your restaurant, I expect to receive good food and a complete order in return.

Will be back. Born to Fry hit all the right notes for a food truck. A solid looking selection,…read moregood prices, friendly folks running the truck, and most importantly delicious food. I had heard about Born to Fry previously and then by coincidence happened to drive by their location and I knew I had to stop. Their menu is more expansive than I expected, so the decision was difficult, but I went with a classic couple street tacos to try things out. I had the chorizo and the lengua. Both were very good and I'm interested in a number of other items like the burritos or stopping back sometime when they have birria.

It was a premium burrito, stuffed full of meat and cheese (and Doritos) with plenty of flavor. I was pleasantly surprised that the burrito came out fast and hot. Service was friendly and prices are good. I'm really looking forward to trying Born to Fry again. They have birria on Wednesdays.

I tried Koffi Grill today, and I really enjoyed my meal!…read more I know nothing about African food, or Caribbean food. So, I don't really know how to describe what I had. My meal was beef kebabs with yellow rice. The beef kebabs were incredible, but if I describe them, I don't think I'm going to make them sound very good. The beef chunks were kind of dry, but it seemed like they were supposed to be a little dry, and I don't think they would have been as good if they weren't. They had an amazing dry spice rub on the outside. If the beef had been jucier, I think that would have totally changed the experience of the spice rub. I don't know whether that makes sense, but hopefully you try it, enjoy it, and agree with me. My side was yellow rice. At first, I thought the rice was really bland, but there was some sort of seasoning in it that kind of builds on you the more you eat. It's not at all of a hot spice type of seasoning. It was a very good meal. I would highly recommend it.

When you eat here, however, do not expect to have someone checking on you every couple of minutes. This place is pretty no-frills in what you get. If you need something and the server hasn't stopped by, walk 5 feet into the bar and ask for it. If you are expecting to have the most attentive wait staff, you will be sorely mistaken. That doesn't mean that you never get checked on but rather they assume you are there to leisurely enjoy yourself. I found that to be incredibly refreshing. How was the food? It was good. I had the Asian glaze chicken wings with tater tot's. It was outstanding. Why the tater tot's cost two dollars more than french fries, I have no idea. Apparently, trendy and hipster cost more. In any case, it was a great way to spend an hour on a gorgeous Sunday.

I used to really like Kickstand, but seems like the wait staff was severely lacking last night. We brought my toddler grandson and let them know inside we were there. The waitress took our drink order, brought it, and said she would be back for our orders. She remained inside the rest of the evening and never came back. An hour and one hungry child later, I went inside and requested she come so we could order food. she nodded at me and then ignored us another 10-15 minutes while she chatted inside. We left money on the table for our drinks, and left with my grandson to get him McDonalds. As we drove away, she still never came out. Still inside chatting. Used to come here a lot and liked it. Not sure what has changed, but not very likely I will be back, especially with child.
