I am a survivor of crappy car salesmen experiences. Got completely SCREWED AROUND on my last…read morepurchase from Weber Mazda. They had sold me a bottom line Hyundai Accent promising refinancing to bring my interest down within one year, but I later found out it was on the condition of buying a 25K vehicle which I couldn't afford. So, I have been driving this car which was by now falling apart....a SERIOUS Negative Equity Problem. Although, I really am an excellent driver (REALLY!). I had a string of bad luck with ice, fender bump(s) in -35 and strangely shaped parking lots.... ahem!... which made it a vehicle I was pretty embarrassed about driving... Daydreaming that I could still step it up and get some refinancing, I filled out a form on some website after a few glasses of wine, and ended up with Ian on the phone. He talked me through the "what-ifs" of upgrading. I am now the proud owner of a 2015 Nissan Versa Note. He worked over and above what would be expected, even being available when he was at home caring for his child! He got me financed at 6% below what I had previously been paying PLUS got me WAY MORE for my trade-in then I could have possibly imagined. Picking up the car and signing documents, I dealt with Danny. He was possibly the nicest, most personable and honest guy I have ever dealt with. I feel now, like my financing is in very capable hands.

My husband filled out an application at Road sport auto in Calgary and was waiting for a phone call…read morefrom them. He received a phone call from whom we thought was road sport auto (they were the only ones we gave our personal information to) and proceeded to talk to them about purchasing a vehicle. We had picked out a vehicle over the phone thinking that we would be going in to take a test drive before we purchased. We were told we needed to sign paperwork first so they emailed a DocuSign paper (which at the time we were unfamiliar with). paper signed we called them back and asked when we can come in and go for the test drive and look at the vehicle (this is the first time we bought a vehicle on a lot). We didn't even know any of the features or anything what so ever about the vehicle other then the year and make of the vehicle. They then tell us that we signed a purchase agreement already and we now owned the vehicle and they are located in Edmonton Alberta and do not actually have the vehicle!!  The vehicle was in Calgary but we could not see it. They had to drive the vehicle from Calgary to Edmonton for an inspection then drive the vehicle back to Calgary for delivery in one week we would get the vehicle. Okay so now I guess we own a vehicle and are paying almost 15,000$ more then the vehicle is worth. Not to mention they have to drive this vehicle back in forth for inspection? we got the vehicle two weeks later (was supposed to be one week). The 1000$ cash back that was supposed to be given to us upon delivery of vehicle we did not receive until 3 months after the vehicle was delivered and we called them every couple days to remind them. We had the vehicle insured and registered but found out they gave us the wrong VIN number. Insurance company is not happy thinks there is somthing fishy about this since the auto place does not answer phone calls. We get a 330$ ticket that day for having no registration because the vin they gave us was reregistered into someone else name. registration company needed the auto dealer to send them information in order to confirm the VIN but was not able to get ahold of them what so ever. After all is said and done it took us two months to get proper registration on our vehicle. Wish we had been familiar with dealing with dealerships and really want to know how on earth did these guys all our personal information and why didn't they say who they actually were when they called us? Did road sport auto give our financial and contact information to these guys? is this legal to give out applications with full personal private information from an application to other dealerships? Now we are stuck with a vehicle we are paying n extra 15,000$ for. for that price we could have gotten the fully loaded vehicle and paid a much smaller interest charge with our credit.

I recently purchased a 2015 Ram 3500 diesel truck from this company just over 2 months ago. I drove…read moreit for a couple weeks to find that it had a coolant leak which had to be filled every 3-5 days roughly. After the 3rd week I found that while pulling a trailer it had a massive lack of power. I brought it in to a local diesel company in Lethbridge to get it diagnosed. They came back with a list of items worth nearly $12000. This list included a new turbo replacement, head gasket replacement with new new ARP studs, head testing, custom programming for the head and an EGR reroute and delete. I passed this quote onto the Insta Auto Sales GM and he didn't want to pay for it all and said it wasn't necessary to do all this work. He then made an effort to get the truck back to Edmonton to diagnose it himself through his own shop. He came back with a turbo replacement and a coolant level sensor replacement. He did these repairs and after weeks of waiting finally got the truck back to me in Lethbridge. I picked it up and took it out for a test drive pulling my trailer to find out that there was still a massive power loss on the highway and a coolant leak again. I contacted him to let him know and all he could tell me was: "You will have to get the truck to a diesel mechanic to asses what the issue is. I did all I can last repair even picked it up and dropped it off 7 hours away. You have unlimited km unlimited Claims for 5k each time for 2 years warranty you will have to go this route with it. Get it diagnosed and we can go their" I told him I was tired of wasting my time on this truck and needing to bring it in for diagnosing and repairs in such a short time of owning it, his next response was: "I understand your frustration. However we did a large repair out of good faith and tried to ease the inconvenience the first time around. However this is a 9 year old diesel truck that you have put over 3,000 kms on after purchasing. You have extended warranty for this reason the truck was in good operational condition when it was delivered back to you & we can't verify its use after the fact. Again have a diesel shop diagnose the issue." I took the truck into Diesel Tech in Lethbridge and had them diagnose it for the 2nd time. While waiting for this diagoses, I call Assurant(the company that deals with the aftermarket I purchased for almost $3000). I found out that there was an existing claim made on the turbo replacement. I told the guy I never put in for a claim and later found out that the Insta Auto Sales GM had put in a claim through my own warranty to replace that turbo without my consent. He was also trying to get me to sign off on the invoice for the work being complete so that he could get his reimbursement through my warranty. All this and he told me he got this truck fixed out of good faith. I have messaged him over and over again to ask about rectifying these issues and he continues to ignore me about it. They came back with a Cylinder Head Gasket leak, coolant in my oil, low fuel pressure caused by either a leak down on injectors or a high pressure pump failure as well as the fuel housing that was installed is stripped and they cannot get it off without damaging it. This would mean replacing it as well, this quote has come out to somewhere in the vicinity of $20000 just to get this truck back to where it needs to be for it to run properly. I would recommend not using this company to purchase any vehicles through because they will ultimately leave you to fend for yourself.

I contacted Insta Auto about getting a new truck. I spoke with Anthony he was great we picked out a…read moretruck and he gave the price of 21800 for my trade a bit lower because of the accident it had he also stated that he got this approved by his manager which I have all in text message. So I get the truck mileage was supposed to be 48k but it's 55k I contact Anthony he's apologetic and says that he could reimburse me 1200$ for the difference in kms. Fast forward a week later I get a call from.the GM named Doug Greenslade he calls me with an attitude saying he won't be providing any reimbursement and Anthony doesn't work there anymore. I told him Anthony said he approved with the GM (Doug). He says "your trade in had an accident" I said yes I was upfront about that and I have all the text thats Anthony said YOU approved then he tried to pretend he didn't know about the accident and that was why he wouldn't reimburse me. So whatever nothing I can do with this man I said fine just send me the new paperwork with the correct mileage I didn't tell him what the truck had when it arrived 7k more then advertised but, he magically knew the exact number when he sent me the paperwork. He said they would pay off the trade in at the AGREED price 21800 weeks later I call the bank and they said they paid off 21200! Doug Greenslade is a an absolute crook . STAY FAR AWAY FROM.THIS PLACE.
