First of all, Alexis was such a fun and attentive server and provided great recommendations. We were pleasantly surprised that the cauliflower crust pizza and garlic knots were on special. They were both fantastic! My pizza was crispy. The garlic knots were buttery and hot! Loved every bite!

Got the field pizza and the garlic knots. Both were delicious. The service was great. The ambience was sports bar Divey. Close to the wheels of time museum which is super convenient. Great parking.

Local and delicious. We love coming to Knuckles!

Local and amazing. Pictured here is the Italian beef, special ordered open faced style, and the wheelhouse + cream cheese. Delicious.

Located on Seminary Street, cute shops surround and on street parking available. Unassuming from the outside and purely historic, refurbished, recycled everything inside. Jazz and classic rock was playing on a record player. Staff was lovely and helpful with questions. Order at the counter and take a seat. Glasses are chilled, no ice. Canned sodas, water, alcoholic beverages available. Pizza has 4 sizes, specials and make your own. Sandwiches, salads. I chose the goat cheese and herb pizza and it was sooooo good. Chewy yet crunchy, the crust is perfection. Takes 20-30 minutes when not just. Worth the wait. Will definitely come back when we are in the area.

I had a five hour layover between Amtrak journeys (Southwest Chief and California Zephyr) so wanted to have best possible nosh in this Abraham-Lincoln-Slept-Here town within walking distance from the train depot. Thanks to Google Maps, Baked Pizza was top on the list. Sadly, they are closed on Sundays - my scheduled stop in Galesburg. So, I went to another local pizza place. That was an unfortunate disappointment. But, say hallelujah!, my return trip was on a Wednesday, so Baked Pizza was my highest priority. And color me grateful to Google Maps! Fortunately, I found this little hole-in-the-wall without difficulty. I entered into a brick sided wonderland. It must have been a white rabbit that led me there. I could not believe my otherworldly experience. I was greeted by the most cordial of greeter, Estefania. She was ever so patient and accommodating with my hearing disability. Baked Pizza was off to a great start! I took my time deciding which of the Lewis Carroll's fantasy pizzas to choose while I sipped their Two Hearted IPA. The Herbs and Goat Cheese was the winner. And what a winner it is! Dominated by basil, the herbs are fresh and wonderful. The mozzarella are geniusly complimented by the gentle goat cheese. And the herbs! Youd think that you were in Provence! Finally, and not at all leastly, the garlic oil is a finishing touch without equal. I admit that I dismissed the garlic oil as an advertising gimmick. Nay, I say! This seemingly add-on is essential. It is a must for the definive crispy crust! IMO, there is no equal. So, the next time you're within 500 mile if Galesburg Illinois, try Baked Pizza. You won't be sorry.

Prefaced with I've never been to Illinois till earlier this week, ergo unaware of quality and what restaurants people will keep going through patronage, I have spent the last few days checking out restaurants on Yelp. Noticed this was a surprisingly highly rated spot, even though the photos didn't look that great. Through ordering online , placed an order for a small pan pizza , not realizing (isn't listed on their website) that adding any toppings is 1.25$ more each; like a 23$ small pizza. It appears the pizza had its toppings put after the sauce, and cheese on top, leaving an unsatisfying appearance and feeling I would've needed to order "extra cheese" to get a normal pizza. The exterior of the crust was hard, like baked too high of a temp for too long, and crunched like a cracker with the dough being dense and flavorless. The "beef roll" appeared to be their small dough folded over into a 12"x8" rectangle and cut into 1"x3" long pieces , and dusted with an Italian seasoning. Thin shaved beef inside, opted for pepperoni in it too. It was alright, again the crust put me off, the au jous that comes with it was watery and bland, and for 20.50$, felt like an overpay. Personally I like getting boneless wings with pizza, so opted for a dozen of those for us. Limited flavors , went with "hot", which was no hotter than Franks red hot. If they were fried, they steamed inside their foil and styrofoam container, and were received soggy and soft. Nothing noteworthy on taste or experience there.. beyond the 16.75$ charge, making each quarter-sized piece like 1.40$ each All in all impression: overpriced. I wouldn't go back, and if this is the best rated pizza in town, think I won't be going out for pizza around here the duration of my trip, least it be overpriced for mediocre food again.

3 points to consider 1. Affordable: Order the specials…read morethrough the website and save money. In addition, they don't charge or add on an "on line processing / upcharge fee". 2. Consistent: Regardless of what time of the day you order your pizza, it's cooked correctly. Unlike other chains where your pizza is undercooked when they just opened the store due to the fact they are too lazy to preheat the oven and then burn your pizza at the end of the shift because they don't take into account the residual heat build up and just continue to churn out one burnt pizza after the other, Jet's Pizza tends to be Consistent throughout its operating hours. Value: You're not really saving any money if you throw half the pizza away because it tastes bad. Coupons, sales or promotions mean nothing to your wallet when the pizza ens up in the garbage the following day. You're not throwing your pizza away, you're throwing away your hard earned money.

We decided to drop in since it had just opened, and we wanted to see what they had to offer. If you look at the name "pizzeria napoletana" you may get the idea that this isn't Pizza Hut. It isn't. This is (according to my wife who has been to Naples in Italy) pizza the Napoletanese way. Thin crusts, interesting toppings, and different than mainstream American pizza. When we arrived we were promptly greeted at the door as we walked in, and given a choice of bar or dining room seating. We selected the dining room. Both areas were warm and comfortable, with the usual things in the bar (big screen TV) and dining room (art on the walls, nice tables and chairs, nice booths). We started with the Bagna Cauda, which was delicious. It seemed to be a little light on the garlic compared to my friend's version of the dish, but it was still good. It was served with bread, fennel, pepper and zucchini for dipping. It could have fed 4. For pizzas, my wife ordered their Margherita Verace, and I ordered their Puttanesca pizza. The Puttanesca had green olives, brown olives and white anchovies. The crust was very thin - so thin that I ended up cutting this with my knife and using my fork. I couldn't even fold it - the crust is very soft. I tried my wife's Margherita Verace, and it was similar in crust. It had lots of good stuff on it, and tasted good. Drinks were reasonably sized. I had a glass of wine which was fresh, and my wife after trying to order (and pronounce) Raganrok found that they were out of the sweet mead, so she went with a Negroni instead, which she said was quite good. The bathrooms were clean, but chilly in temperature. I hit the hot air hand dryer as I walked out in an effort to warm up the space. Clean, all fixtures worked, and well kept. The question boils down to this: Are you willing to experience pizza the way it was originally made - or not. If you are willing, you should try this place out. If you aren't willing - well, that's on YOU to change. You're missing a lot.
