Love this pizza. Sauage freshly made. Sauce perfect. The cutting of the pizza is interesting yet works. Owners are very nice.

We really enjoyed the pizza. They did not skimp on the cheese. The Canadian Bacon was diced instead of whole slices which was nice.

First time having eating from Fat Jack's and they did not disappoint. Pizza and wings were amazing. I will definitely be back and highly recommend them! read more

Fat Jack's Pizza - 4. Fat Jack's BBQ Chicken Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Peoria, Illinois

Came in to grab a couple of new pizzas and try a new place, amd it could have been better, bit I have definitely had worse. (In case you don't know, this is Quad Cities Service- Called and picked up from the store. Employees seemed nice and cheerful, if not a bit bored. Place wasnt too busy, as it is a carry out only and everyone was standing around, looking like they were waiting on their next order to come in. Food- The pizza was okay. Outside crust was a bit hard and inner was eh. Sauce had a nice flavor and a little spice/zing to it that was nice. There weren't a ton of toppings under the cheese, so for the price, could have been a little more generous. However, the susage in the Mega Meat Pizza was great. It was finely ground and quite good. Price- Price was a bit steep I thought. It is a generally flat rate of $14 for a small (12") or a large (16") for $21. The prices range a dollar or two, but the prices are generalized. read more

Best pizza EVER! My grandma and I enjoyed it so much that we ate our fill in the parking lot. We thought we'd only eat one slice and go home but it was THAT GOOD. Please go try this place. I don't think you'll be disappointed. I really will never eat pizza from any place else. read more

Simple basic sausage pizza that was a tad too greasy for us. There are definitely better pizza spots around town. I was disappointed a little since I figured this place has been around for years. read more

Pizza was not good crust a little burnt and tasted like cardboard pizza had very little sauce and pizza tasted very similar to Davis brothers two stars because my son ate it and seemed pleased at eating almost a whole pizza in one sitting he will recommend this pizza I cant read more

Been a while since I have been here but the pizza was awesome as always. It was Friday evening and the place was packed. Had a large party going on in one of the rooms but the service was still decent. I had the pepperoni and sausage pizza and it was hot and very good. Not sure why it took so long to stop back. If your in the area you need to give them a try. read more

Awesome neighborhood pizza place, run by the nicest people! Tucked back in Tanglewood shopping center, this pizza is the real deal. They make their own crust, sauce, and sausage, use fresh veggies, and prepare everything fresh and hot to order. The crust is crisp and chewy and the toppings are piled high. I also highly recommend the cheesy garlic bread! Just be aware, they only do carryout and they close at 9. Support this wonderful family-owned Peoria gem! read more

Authentic Quad City Style Pizza + Gluten Free Pizza?!?!?! As a quad City native I was so happy to find an authentic Quad City Style Pizza shop. I grew up eating QC style pizza and this is the real deal (Real Mozzarella cheese, ground home-made sausage, nutty sweet crust) The Pizza was AWESOME and they offered a Gluten Free pizza which was just as good. The customer service was great, after accidentally making the wrong pizza, they offered me a free drink and immediately baked me the correct pizza while I waited. I got to watch them hand toss the dough before making the pizza (Another authentic QC trait). Best pizza in Peoria hands down!b read more

Fat Jack's Pizza - SAUSAGE! - Pizza Near Me - Peoria, Illinois

We heard about Fat Jack's Pizza on Yelp and decided to try it. THE PIZZA IS SOOOOO DELICIOUS! You should give it a try too! We had the supreme pizza, bbq pizza, garlic cheese bread, and Chicago tamales. All of them were excellent- even our very picky son devoured parts of each of the pizzas and a tamale- that sealed the deal for us! We are now IN LOVE with Fat Jack's and are so excited to have found a new pizza place that will become our regular pizza place! read more

It's true, the owner of this place is one of the nicest guys you ever want to meet. But as I used to live in Bloomington, IL, I'm kind of used to this because the people in this area are the greatest, ever! My best friends were from my time in Bloomington. But that said, lets move on to the food. Fat Jacks is a take out place, oh there's a few tables here but that's for waiting, it's just not set up for dining inside. I ordered the large special which is sausage mushrooms and onions. The tab came out to be about 23 dollars. Which is pretty reasonable because this was a large large, not a small large. Man said it would be about 25 minutes, it was ready in 20. It was not bad, the crust was great, sauce was kind of neutral, not spicy, not sweet, but its there. Plenty of toppings. Only thing that I didn't love was the Italian sausage, it was more like ground pork and lacked the fennel I liked. But this is just a personal preference. Some folks described this as Davenport style pizza, well I travel a bit, not to disrespect this place, but the style of cutting is known as New Haven style. Just sayin'. I will definitely be back, although I may order a pepperoni, taco or cheese pizza instead. This place is well worth patronizing. read more

I had the Twelve inch Bacon Cheese Burger. One style of crust (Quqd City). Excellent! There is a mouth watering tang that will be surprising pleasant. Crust is hand tossed and crisp throughout. InitialIy, would have preferred more flavor to the edge, but that changed a couple of bites in. The warm crunchiness was very good. I can't wait to try it in the morning. read more

Decided to try Fat Jack's out based on the reviews. What a bad decision!!! The employees were nice and service was good. But that's the only good thing about this experience. We ordered one small Sausage Pepperoni and Mushroom pizza, a Sausage and Mushroom Calzone and a small Garlic Parm Wing order. Nothing has flavor. NOTHING. The Wing sauce is like a bland marinade. The Calzone is so soggy and flavorless it's inedible. The pizza is just... Ok. Soggy crust and flavorless sausage. Sorry, but I'll never come back. read more

We ordered a large cheese pizza. It was ready quickly and the staff was friendly. The pizza was terrific! The crust, sauce and cheese were all the way a pizza is supposed to be prepared. Great to a see a little local spot turn out a good product-just what Peoria needed. read more

I love their pizza! The taco pizza was fantastic and do is their reuben! I absolutely love their crust! Everything is homemade! They even prepare their chicken for the pizza homemade along with making their own sausage right there in the kitchen! Not too many places can live up to that dedication! The owner is fabulous, friendly and very knowledgable. I say give it a try! My family and friends absolutely love the place! read more

Great pizza...my fist time for this pizza and it was one of the best I have had in a long time. Loved their sausage and cheese. For sure will try other's soon. read more

I ordered Fat Jack's pizza tonight for the first time. I have to say this place is a bit of a hidden gem. I ordered a supreme and while the toppings were delicious I was really impressed with the crust (maybe because Quad City style uses malt?) It's pretty easy to drive this modest little takeout only place given the strip mall it's in but definitely worth a look. read more

We are from California, just came to drop our daughter off at Bradley University. Stopped by here after reading the reviews. First off staff is friendly the place is nice and clean. Pizza was good, garlic cheese bread was yummy. We will definitely be back when we are in town. So glad we found this place!!!! read more

As part of our "support local businesses" plan, we tried Fat Jack's. We had heard the owners had kids at the high school my kids go to. Well, we really enjoyed the entire experience. From the friendliness of the girl who answered the phone to the girl who brought the food to my car (it may have been the same girl) to the quality of the food, all top notch. We will be back read more

Wanted to try a new pizza place and saw Fat Jack's on yelp. We were told it would be 45 minutes & it ended up being a little over an hour. Not a big deal but the pizza seemed rather undercooked. The crust was sloppy/doughy. read more

The calzone is kinda small, id say its in between the 7" pizza and the 12". It tastes good but could use some garlic butter brushed on top. Pizza is first rate. The cheese is the best I've tasted, its very flavorful, its the first thing i noticed. If i could only order from one pizza joint in peoria this would be it. Pizza sizes are 7",12" and 16". Its odd that they don't have a 14" pie. The only thing i dislike is the weird way the pizza is cut. Nobody wants weird thin rectangular slices. Nobody wants pizza cut that way. Cut it in pie slices for reals. read more

I know that other people didn't really give this place very good reviews, but I have been here a few times, and I can honestly say it is pretty good. They may have had a bad time of it, when they first opened, that justified the bad reviews, but they don't deserve them now. They have a great lunch special. Their sausage pizza is more of a crumbly sausage instead of bigger pieces. They cut their pizza in long strips instead of standard slices. Would eat here again. read more

First time here! wowza have we been missing out, I had the supreme, soooo good, we will be back for sure.

The menu items sounded delicious, unfortunately I was not satisfied with any of the three things that I ordered. The breadsticks were rock hard, the pizza crust was rubbery, the meat on the taco pizza was pork instead of beef and had a weird taste, and the cheese on the BBQ pork pizza was thick and gelatinous. Service was quick and friendly, but the product was unsatisfactory so I will not be back. read more

I live nearby and have been passing by this place for a while meaning to try it and I finally did. I ordered the sauerkraut and Canadian bacon pizza and absolutely loved it! Had a great conversation with the owner about everything pizza and look forward to coming here again. My only regret is that I didn't order a larger pizza as my leftovers are nearly gone, lol. Mark puts his heart and soul into putting out an amazing product. He has spent a lifetime perfecting his craft since childhood and he has learned from the best. This place is definitely a hidden gem! read more

Easily one of my favorite pizza places in Peoria. Consistently quality and you can't beat the friendly service. Not sure why there's an abundance of bad reviews on here, I've always had very good luck and everyone else I know that's been here has as well. Definitely recommend. read more

Visited shortly after they opened. My friends got a pizza that I sampled and it was delicious! I got a hot ham and cheese and that was equally delicious! The owner was super friendly and even let us try this new dish he was working on. The world needs more mom n pop kinds of places like this vs big corporation places. read more

Yes quad city style the taco and Sauerkraut Canadian bacon Pizza was great. The Italian beef was spot on with the dip

I have ordered carryout twice from Fat Jack's and was very pleased with both visits! Both times I had the 8 inch supreme, which easily would have been enough to share with someone. The pizza was very filling, loaded with toppings and cheese and the crust was also very good. Not overly thick but not thin either. The first visit I ordered garlic cheese bread and the 2nd visit I ordered boneless wings with bbq sauce. They were both good. My only complaint is I wasn't a fan of the marinara that came with the garlic bread and the ranch was just bottled, I think. The food was all great, I just think they could improve their dipping sauces a little bit. But that alone won't keep me from ordering again. Also wanted to mention, the owner is so nice too, like some other reviews have said. They are so friendly and make you feel like they truly appreciate your business. I will definitely be back!! read more

Great Quad Cities style pizza! Friendly family run business. One of our favorite take out pizzas.

I'm not impressed. Appetizers are obviously frozen then fried. Pizza is nothing memorable.

Fat Jack's Pizza is a wonderful addition to the area. The pizza and sandwiches are all made from scratch and well worth the price. On a recent visit with friends, we tried various things on the menu. I personally had the taco pizza and it was amazing. Fresh meat, wonderful taste, and loaded with toppings. The breadsticks were also fantastic! The rest of the people in my group very much enjoyed their selections. The person who assisted us, who I assume was the owner, was friendly and very nice. Make sure to thank us for our business. We will be going back for more of this wonderful new restaurant. read more

Food was amazing! Service was great!!! The basco sticks and tamales were amazing as well!!!

I have ordered pizza from Fat Jacks 3 times and each order was done correctly and the pizza was super each time. I really like this new pizza place but only wish it was closer to where I live so I could get it more often. read more

As a QC native now relocated to Peoria, I can tell you that Fat Jack's is more than legitimate...it's delicious! What I love about the QC style is that the crust is thin but not crispy, the sauce is flavorful but not sweet (like other Peoria places), the toppings are substantial such as the trademark spicy crumbled sausage that coats the whole pizza, the cheese covers and thus contains the toppings, and the rectangular slicing is obviously practical for putting the pizza in your mouth not your cheeks. If you have enjoyed Harris, Clint's, Charlie's Place, St. Giuseppe's, and the rest, you will enjoy this, especially since the taco Mark makes is better than all the aforementioned. Each time I've been in, I've appreciated his friendliness and passion for his trade. I also appreciate how he is happy to make whatever off menu variation I have asked for. I will be back. read more
