So many great pinball machines and some cool retro games. Bar service is not great though. I've waited somewhere up-to 20 minutes to get served. And the bartender doesn't know he basic drinks or what there is on tap. She asked us what tap was the beer my friend asked for. I get it though. They need more than one yet it at the same time isn't quite busy enough for more employees. Just need someone who can handle the bar. Games are amazing though. My son loved it!! read more

What a fun time! We were celebrating a birthday. JD helped us with the axe throwing. He made it so fun, helping us learn how to throw, setting up teams and different games, and adding some fun to our time there. Highly recommend. The rage room was set up pretty cool. Two people in our party did that. The rest of us watched on the tv outside the door. They had some technical difficulties for the tv to work at first, but Cody worked super fast and efficiently to get it working. The pinball room was cool and they had a punch bag game there too so we all took turns seeing who could get the most. Nice bar there too. If you are looking for something to do check this place out! Thinking we missed something else on the puzzle we wasted a lot of time on it. * Many of the puzzles are extremely difficult * If you fail, they will not show you the rest of the game and what you missed. * No discounts offered for future games or activities * Team pictures are not texted, they are posted online Overall We played The Cemetery. The look was great, the game and the gamemaster were not. We did not enjoy it. My biggest complaint is that this place has outdated policies. - limited and unhelpful hints - locking up electronics - no walk throughs at end - difficulty set so high that the success rate is low to encourage players to return and pay again These days most escape room businesses have learned that having a room with a low success rate is no longer desirable. Players want a challenge but they also want the chance to actually complete the game. If they play a room that is so difficult they can only get a little over half of it done, they won't want to return to play the other games. Escape room companies are also now offering casual modes where you can get unlimited hints and nudges. Again, they know that if you are successful or at least close, you'll more than likely want to return to do other games. Most places I've played you can tell that the gamemaster and designer are on the side of the players. They want you to have a good time. It doesn't seem Gone in 60 hares that view. Every escape room I have been to has a policy where the gamemaster will walk players through the rest of the game if they do not finish in time. Gone in 60 does not do that. We were told that they want groups to come back and try again. Our team of 3 paid $135 to play. There is NO WAY, we would pay another $135 to try again. In fact, our experience has turned us off of ever wanting to go back for their other offerings (escape room, ax throwing, bar, rage room). We have also told our friends to stay away from there. I hope the owners come to realize that when a group has had a good time with the escape room, whether they finish or are at least close and are walked through the rest of the game they didn't finish, that group is much more likely to go to the bar for some drinks, come back again for more fun, and tell others about their great experience. It's a win-win for everyone. This was my 28th escape room game. It was the worst escape room experience I have had to date. read more

I like to new additions of in ball and family games in front. but disappointed the bar was "down" while were there and couldn't even get water. the young man who hosted our VR was great and my teens mastered their game in about 33 minutes but we booked for 45.... so he allowed them to play another game to let us play for our paid time. with about 10 minutes to go another worker came in and asked him "what are you doing" to which our host said letting them play out their time. "no never do that" in a very demeaning tone. I found it rude to say that in front of us. the girl with long dread locks also seemed rude. my sons axe got stick above the target and once she got it down I was talking to my son and she abruptly turned around to us and said "excuse me!" I said I was talking to my son and she stormed off. tge other times I e been the staff was great. this must have been a bad day for that team. read more

We have done around 10 escape rooms with several different companies and this is one of the better ones we have been to. The sets are great, like a movie set, and very immersive. We did both rooms and liked the contagion over the coven. The contagion was more difficult between the two but both were good. The staff were great very friendly and fun. We would absolutely recommend this escape room. If you have never done an escape room you should try it it's so much fun! read more

I had no idea the level of seriousness was involved with axe throwing (but totally necessary especially because alcohol may be involved) and my group and I were lucky enough to get in for a 7:30pm game. After a few cocktails and hanging out by the "fire" our referrer called us up and gave us all the rules. It's a lot to process, but I can safely say I got comfortable with my form and throw (especially prefer the heavier axes which are separated by color coding) and my team won the first two games! Apparently there is a league (Jamie said I'd wanna join and she's not wrong), someone mentioned that certain places also offer ninja stars to throw as well (which is EPIC) but I didn't inquire at this place. I did see they offer an escape room and the entire place had great ambiance and vibes, can't wait to come back! read more

We were in Coven and really enjoyed it. Some timely requested clue help made a big difference in getting out with 2 minutes left. The room was set up with great authentic props and all the tasks and "puzzles" we're done well. There were 7 adults in our group and at times felt a little crowded. We just hosted a father-daughter event for our sorority Dad's Day weekend. Bri helped me make all the arrangements ahead of time. She was easy to work with and very accomodating. We had about 75 participants and the employees were so organized and professional. Safety was the number one concern and the Axe Master did a great job explaining and enforcing all the rules and guidelines. Each team had a teacher who organized games and kept the party moving smoothly among players. It was an awesome event and better than we could even imagine. Had the best experience here over the holidays. I have never done an escape room, and neither had most of my group.. this place really does a great job of explaining the rules and immersing you in the problem. I thought that the decor was awesome and all the pieces of the room were very well put together and organized. It was so much fun completing the Coven Escape Room. Axe throwing is so much fun! It's a great set up and fun for everyone. Our axe master was a greater teacher and a lot of fun. By the end of the hour, my 15 year old son who had never thrown an axe before totally had the hang of it. A great way to spend the afternoon. read more

This was so much fun. The staff was friendly and helped to make it a fun experience. A staff member stays with you during you throwing and instructs you how to do it and sets you up to play a game, which makes the experience even better. They have a nice bar and some video games to play when your not throwing, i would highly recommend for a random fun thing to do. read more

We have done a few Escape Rooms at other places and loved solving puzzles (and had about 67% success rate) but unfortunately Gone in 60 was a total disappointment. Our time was set as 7:45pm (we got there earlier and finished the intro and logistics etc.) and the staff asked us to wait another 25 minutes outside after the starting time, instead of getting the room ready on-time. We can only get 2 clues unless doing a Facebook check-in for an additional clue (which we did). Furthermore, the game master didn't communicate with us via voice but with clue typed on screen (we had to wait 1-2 mints for the clue to show up), and the description wasn't particularly helpful with no elaboration. Typically Escape Room's game master would be a bit more interactive. In summary: do not recommend this place. read more

I did the Contagion room with a group of 6 other people, and we escaped with 13 minutes left to go. The room had enough things going on to keep 7 people busy most of the time, but I think it would have worked for a much smaller group as well. Our gamemaster did a great job giving us timely and helpful clues that hinted at solutions without giving them away. The decor was excellent and well-matched to the theme, and the puzzles were varied and interesting. Compared to escape rooms I've done in other cities it was on the easy side of average, but very well done. I look forward to trying the others next time I'm in town! read more

Yikes! I can't remember the last time I was treated this rudely. Even though I called ahead days beforehand to let the staff know we would arrive around 9pm for our 8:30pm reservation, the front desk person who checked us in was sarcastic, accusatory and ridiculously rude (and on my birthday. Too bad). Honestly, our party of four was shocked, especially considering walk-ins are welcome and I didn't have to make a reservation at all. We asked for our $20 refund and drove straight to Industry Brewing instead where we had a blast! Threw axes outside with live music in the beer garden and the staff was accommodating and pleasant. It makes me sad when venues like Gone Axe Throwing come so close to a good thing but grossly miss the mark on service. I'll never go back. read more
