Came in last weekend and wanted to try this place, as I have seen it a million times when in the plaza, and thought I'd give it a whirl. Ordered a Susage and a Pepperoni baked (as you can also supposedly take and bake circa Papa Murphy's) and picked them up in store. Staff was friendly and welcoming. When I walked in, there were probably six or so people sitting inside eating and another two or three, plus myself, getting orders to go. Place was clean and seemed pretty lively, with employees working and chatting pleasantly with the customers as they made their orders. Pizzas were good. There was a ton of susage and pepperoni (see pictures below). The sauce ratio was perfect and the crust was nice and perfectly chewy (in a good way). Overall a good experience and would come back. If you are not familiar with the location or plaza, it is hidden in the very back corner next to Sushi Popo (or Sushi Ko as the sign says). read more

Boulder, CO thinks they are hip because they have N&W, I've been to both and this one is just as cool, tucked back in the corner of the Metro Centre, fun atmosphere and friendly employees. This is the BEST pizza I had since moving to Peoria. The service was great too. We ordered a Margherita, Old Fashioned and a Sante Fe Chicken. All three were absolutely delicious. The crust was perfect and all three pizzas were generously topped. We are definitely making this our regular pizza place. read more

Tried this place because my regular spot had computer problems and couldn't take orders! It's tucked waaaay in the back of a huge strip mall, took me a minute to find it. We did take-out and it was clear that these all came out of the oven at different times. Other than that, the food quality was great. The Aegean pizza for me and my wife was really quite good. We have a sausade pizza for the kids and it went over very well. The order of cheesy bread had a layer of this incredible tasting cheese sauce on it. It was a mess to eat, but man was it GOOD! Gave 4 stars only because the food temperature was lacking on half our order, but food taste and quality was great. Will likely try the take-and-bake option next time. Great pizza and great people! I love the Fresh Jalapeno Burn with spicy olive glaze and chicken, I might go as far to say this is my favorite pizza ever. The vegetables are so fresh and generously applied, this particular pizza really explodes with flavor. Each time I go in to order my take and bake, I am greeted with a smile and treated with sincere kindness by everyone there. The kind of place you want to visit over and over. Note: this review applies to both Peoria locations, which I find interchangeable. You know the saying about pizza and sex, right? Well, BS. Bad pizza is bad, and I won't have it. Thus, I'm pretty reluctant to order pizza in a restaurant, and a chain? Yikes, I dunno. But this place is good. The crust isn't quite as crisp or thin as I like, but it's got a wonderful flavor. The variety and quality of toppings is really excellent, and they've got a wonderful selection of signature pizzas, including a couple very tasty veggie ones (hurray!). They are heavy, heavy, heavy on the cheese, to the point where I really think it detracts from the pizza, but when I ordered light on the cheese, it came out absolutely perfect. When I leave Nick N Willys, I really feel satisfied with the meal I just had. It's good stuff. The prices are pretty high here, which I think is actually totally justified by the care they take with the pizzas and the great toppings, but by all means, seek out some of the awesome coupons available to score a great price. We wanted pizza for lunch and we wanted to try something different other than one of the BIG 3 pizza places (Pizza Hut, Papa Johns, Dominoes) and decided to try out Nick'n'Willy's and had it delivered by Dine in Delivery of Peoria. So we have no idea how the restaurant service was but the food we got... OMG! Wonderful! We had 1 medium Nick-N-Willy's Classic, 1 medium Outback and an order of their Cinn-N-Bites. I was really impress by the quality of the ingredients and the over all taste. The crust wasn't soggy, greasy, too thick or too thin. It was perfect. The toppings tasted fresh and the sauces (one had tomato the other garlic) weren't overwhelming. Everything had a perfect kind of ratio thing going on from the crust to the toppings to the sauce. However we weren't impressed by the Cinn-N-Bites. They seem to be the typical fast food dessert you get at any pizza joint. Not a lot of care and thought went into it, it was just something sweet to have after the really good stuff. All in all we would definitely order from them again sans the Cinn-N-Bites. I personally love and recommend the Outback. It's now my new favorite pizza to get. read more

This place was a lot of fun! Only recently have they started creating large pizzas, and are more well known for their personal size pizzas. Perhaps a little pricey (although you can find some great coupons!) compared to other pizza joints, but the "Nick and Willy's Classic" signature pizza was very yummy, and filling. The personal pizzas are a little on the small side, but if you get one with lots of toppings, you'll likely feel full. Also, for you thin crust pizza lovers (which I am not), you will especially enjoy their pizzas. Just got an outback from Nick n Willys. We are long time repeat customers. One of our favorite take out treats. Not this time!!!! It came with burnt black crust. Top was so burnt we couldn't tell if it had green peppers or not. Then when I take it back they acted like I was an idiot because I didn't want it. I posted a pick of our black pizza. Then they can't figure out how to refund my card. So I get another reprint of my original receipt and was told to check my account because they can't figure out how to give me a refund. And no offer to make it right or even a sorry. I will be calling the owner and taking my business elsewhere. Andrew needs to learn some customer service skills. Extremely disappointed with this experience. In good faith prior purchases were very good and with good service. Too bad I've been burnt and won't be back. Update: I went to 3 stars because the owner reached personally and offered a free pie. Confirmed my refund was properly credited. This place is great, you can get your pizzas to take and bake, or they'll cook it for you. Specialty pizzas we got were both good, meat piled high on the Nick N Willy's special and then a chicken one that was lighter but tasty and still filling. read more

I used to live in Peoria and ate at Nick and Willy's often. Now I make sure to visit on trips home to see my family. Their pizza is delicious. The Outback is my personal favorite. I like that it is so casual and easy-going too. read more

Finally tried the pizza, garlic chicken bistro +mushrooms, very fresh and flavorful ingredients, the crust was just the right amount of chewy/crunchy, so light I almost forgot I was eating pizza; however, I can't say the same regarding the wings, they were just your average wingettes, somewhat spicy, dry and not seasoned very well, I wouldn't order them again but would definitely order from here in the future. read more

I love Nick N Willy's! I discovered them a few months ago when they were giving out free samples at the farmer's market. They have some great tasting, unique pizzas. My favorite is the Aegean -- garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, feta and spinach -- but even the plain cheese is delicious! I have mixed reviews with this restaurant. The first time i came here with my s/o, the price was cheap and very fast service. We were the only ones in the restaurant and there was one worker. Both of us got a personal pizza and a drink each. His pizza was very good, but my pizza was undercooked, and the dough was soft. I don't complain much, but it didn't stop us from coming back again a few days ago. We both got a personal pizza and a drink again, but both of us got about 3-5 toppings each, and the money adds up fast. It's about double of what we remember. There was one worker who took our order then two others began making it. We sat down and were waiting for our pizza for a very long time, although there were only 3 other customers. The (very nice) lady who took our order had gone to do things in the back, while the other two worked on our pizza. Many minutes had gone by, and everyone one else was served besides us. Finally the (again, very nice) lady who took our order asked the other two about where our pizza was but they thought it was to-go, even though we ordered it in front of them. My s/o and I are patient and understanding, but some others aren't. Again, the lady who took our order brought us our pizzas and apologized, while the other two did not even acknowledge the fact we were sitting right there, not even a "my bad". We open the boxes and my pizza was great. Perfectly cooked. However the other pizza we ordered was almost black underneath and didn't look appetizing. He was too hungry to care. Just a heads up, we haven't been happy with our food either times, but we still keep going back. read more

Enjoyed the food, customer service and management are a complete joke! I had placed a phone order during the lunch hour and specified coupon for use, a signature personal pizza and drink. I was given a 20 minute take-out time. When I arrived she asked what I had ordered, gave her my name and I waited to pay. She asked if I wanted a drink which I confirmed I did via the phone order and I presented the coupon. Payment made, cup for soda in hand, no pizza. No communication on what had happened. Meanwhile two others are now in line behind me, still no pizza. After five minutes I inquire. She annoyingly said it didn't get made. What?! I explained I ordered 20 minutes ago and was given this pick up time. We got slammed, was the response I got. Yes, it is the lunch hour people! This is why I called ahead! I inquired about their policy when things like this happen, she shrugged her shoulders and asked if I'd like a refund. Sure! I did receive my money back. Enter manager who finally showed his face 10 minutes into my visit to help the front line! She began making the pizza, classic no sausage. I specifically confirmed while I watched her do it. 20 minutes later (35 minutes total now) Pizza is ready. Guess what? It has sausage all over it. I called the manager over and said this was unacceptable. He asked what I wanted. Um, how about the correct order in time even during your rush?! He raised his voice and said I already gave you a refund. But this is not what I ordered! And I waited an additional 35 minutes. I'll make you another one...I have to get back to work! He threw his hands in the air. Learn some manners and etiquette and priorities. No apology ever given! Just excuses.
