INCREDIBLE. Just moved to Morton. Wanted some pizza and poof, Pegasus Pizza appears in my search bar. I'm blown away how great this pizza was. The crust very tasty and great consistency. The sauce just a very good pizza sauce and the cheese once again a great consistency with an old school taste. Bottom line. This pizza place has to be one of the best in the area. This was our first time trying this pizza! Our rating is 3.5 stars. We ordered 2 pepperoni and sausage thin crust 12" inch pizzas with light cheese for dinner on a Sunday night. The total was $24.25 for both pizzas. The pizza was greasy. The amount of toppings was good and the toppings tasted good. The pizza didn't have a lot of sauce but the sauce had good flavor. The pizza crust had a good crunch. Our issue was the pieces on the edge had a burnt charred flavor that was not enjoyable! Some pieces were not burnt and tasted ok. Review Visit: February 9th, 2016 I had a coupon. My friend and I enjoy a good pizza. So off to Pegasus Pizza we go! Well, that was the idea at least. Pegasus pizza was a very hard place for my friend and I to find. I had assumed it was a normal restaurant, but it's quite the opposite actually. It's situated in a building the size of an Ice Cream Shack. So the only room inside is for customers to order. Not a bad thing, but my friend and I were ill-prepared for dealing with carry out only. So we placed an order and killed time by going to the gas station, getting some stuff there and debating where we would eat. We settled on his place as it was the closest place we could think of. We go back, grab our pizza from just about the friendliest pizza staff I have ever dealt with, headed back to his place and scarfed down some pizza. The pizza itself was pretty good. It didn't floor me, but it didn't disappoint. But my friend really enjoyed it. I think my problem is the type of sausage they use. There is a certain style that my taste buds just absolutely hate. Any ways, if you want some good 'carry out/delivery' pizza and are in Morton, give Pegasus Pizza a shot. I think they even have free delivery. I am not sure why everyone in Morton raves about this place. The pizza is mediocre. I occasionally order from here when they have specials if I can't find anything cheaper in the area and I don't feel like cooking dinner. The people are friendly and the pizza normally comes out quick. I wouldn't pay full price for one of their pizzas though because you can find better pizza in Morton for the same price. read more

Let me preface this review by saying that we love Pegasus pizza. They make awesome pizza (maybe a touch on the thin side for this chicago boy) but all on all the deliver a consistent delicious product, especially when you compare it to the other pizza joints in Morton. Here is my huge issue with Pegasus pizza. On multiple occasions we have called and the phone is answered with the following message "Pegasus pizza; we are closed." But that's not the issue, it's still early in the night! I understand their a small business and they need to save labor, electricity, but not at 8:30pm on the weekends. My wife called one time and asked why they closed to early, the voice on the other side said "we're out of cheese." Ummm.... what? I most recently called on Saturday night and was told they were closed because they "were out of everything" at 8:15pm, on a Saturday night. Again um.... what?! Anyways, I'll give them 5 stars because they can make a grear pizza, 1 star for their ability to have cheese on their shelf. read more

Staying in town on a business trip and was HANGRY for some pizza. This joint had the best reviews that I could find, so I decided to trust the power of Yelp. First of all, don't go expecting to sit down and eat. Actually, don't walk in the door and think you'll have enough room to change your mind because you don't. The ham was cubed ham and I'm not a big fan of that, but it wasn't bad - I just like thin sliced ham. The mushrooms were fresh and good. A good amount of cheese too. Crust was very good. The staff was friendly, but when I ordered and said I had never been but said they had the best reviews on yelp the guy that took my ordered kinda laughed it off. I had actually got the thick crust idea off of yelp too, but mistakenly ordered deep dish. He said, "we don't have deep dish." Another man behind the counter corrected and said they do have thick crust which is what I wanted, so that was a good save by him. Well, Mr. Don't Believe Yelp works, I was in your store because of it. I'm leaving a review on it now about the store and YOU. Customer service is huge in my humble opinion and you should take it seriously. Thankfully the guy actually making the pizzas overhead me and knew what to do. I do recommend this place. You won't do back flips, but I don't think you'll regret it either. Last thing, their prices were very good and they were very fast. I went to Pegasus Pizza with my Brother. An employee told us to sit anywhere, so we did. No one would come to our table for Service of any sort. After a period of time, a cook walked over and asked us what we wanted to eat. We did not have a Waiter for us. When we needed something we would have to look for service. They paid no attention to us. When we paid for the meal they didn't know what happened to the Card on which they wrote down our Order. A waiter had to ask us what we ordered. My brother told them that the Hostess got tipped only if the waiter was tipped well. She claimed that she was always taking care of us, but this is not true. She acted as if though we were wrong in what we said. She showed Disrespect to a customer. The waiter was not to blame in any way. Pegasus Pizza was one of my Favorite Pizza Resturants until now.
