I was on my way to Round Rock and stop to just look around, the owner here was very kind and super helpful, AND he had a super cute Shepherd. They specialize more on outside trees and edible plants, I was about to leave before checking out the inside but I saw they also had indoor plants. Im glad I did, I found this beautiful Alocasia Polly for a good price! Will definitely come back!

The showrite goat feed they keep has bugs in it. They will tell you that all the feed has bugs BUT…read morethe feed at the Feedhouse in Thrall is clean.... It you don't want to gamble with you animals health, id recommend going anywhere else.

We were building out garden and want to support local store so we stop by to check this place out…read more Since we may need at least 2 sq. y and they have deliveries service, we decided to go with this place. We picked the pea gravels for the garden walk path to match with our deck and asked the register what he would suggested for the new, first time garden bed that we just built. The guy at register said promix and we took his suggestion and excited to put them in our garden bed to find out that these consist of basically 70% sand and the rest are some small pieces mulch, pebbles and clay kind of stuff (doesn't look like compose). As time goes by after putting plants in and water them for few weeks we notice nothing grow and the dirt became cakey so I decided to ask around for the opinion on this dirt and everyone think its nothing but just craps. We have to throw almost all these away as its not suitable for garden bed and we did take the issue back to the store and they said they can do nothing about it as they use the same thing on their garden bed too which I called bs. The gravels we bought was great, the dirt is trashed. Hood amount of money spent to learn the lesson.

Let me start with this: don't let the husband's grumpy energy kill your vibe. If you can brush off…read morehis scowl, you're going to fall in love with this little woman owned neighborhood nursery. My boyfriend (the green thumb) sparked my interest in gardening, so we went hunting for a local nursery spot and found this gem tucked inside a charming little house. At first glance, it's like stumbling upon a hidden speakeasy...a nice spot in a very unexpected and weird location, but it works. The owner, a sweet curly-haired redhead, was all warmth and knowledge from the second we walked in. She's got it all here: propagated starter plants perfect for newbies, bigger statement pieces for indoor and outdoor gardening, succulents, pots, and even cute accessories that make you want to redecorate your patio. It's small, but it has heart. Pricing is a bit of a mystery. Very few plants are labeled, so you just have to trust her when she throws out a price. Everything seemed pretty reasonable and affordable, though. I grabbed plant food, a pot of Cuban oregano, and another medium-sized plant all for $35. I liked the price but I couldn't tell you exactly what each item cost. Personally, I didn't mind, but a little transparency would go a long way. Back to the husband: he's a bit dismissive and he scowls. He doesn't greet customers. But my two cents? Sir...If you don't want to deal with people, maybe hang out somewhere else during business hours. Customers come for the plants and the experience. Not to feel like they're crashing your day. But the nursery itself is adorable, the plants are healthy, the prices are reasonable, and the owner is a delight. There are some ridiculously cute dogs on site (just don't let them sneak out the door when you come in). All in all: a quirky, welcoming local business that deserves support. Just smile, buy your plants, and pretend the husband's scowl is part of a sitcom, part of the charm, I guess...

They even have a large discounted book area towards the back of the store where you can easily find some gems from even $1.50. I've gotten a copy of The Secret History for only $4 in wonderful condition And hardback from that bookcase. There are plenty of places for you to take a seat and relax, try out your new potential book or wait for others in your party to shop. If you want/need information or have questions they are more than happy to help and love to have conversations about books with you. I love the creak of the floorboards while walking around and it is always a comfortable, cool temperature. There is also a selection of fun smaller items in store to purchase like posters, puzzles, DVDs, VHS tapes, postcards, and trinkets. They also hold events like a book club, workshop events like embroidery, and host authors for book discussions. They update the events frequently on their social media pages on Facebook and Instagram.
