I had a very disappointing experience with this pest control company. I hired them specifically for pigeon abatement and to clean up the feces left behind, and they completely failed to deliver on both. The pigeon problem was not resolved at all, and the cleanup work that was promised either wasn't done properly or was ignored altogether. On top of that, I was hit with an unauthorized charge that I never approved, which is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, once I raised these concerns, they stopped returning my calls. No follow-up, no accountability, nothing. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Poor service, lack of communication, and questionable billing practices make this a business to avoid. I am extremely pleased with the great service I have received from Jake Anicete. I had rodents causing problems in my garage and car, and Jake came over the same day I called. He was very knowledgeable and very calm and supportive, as I was very unhappy with my "new residents"! He placed traps and spent time talking with me, and making me feel much better knowing I was in great hands. He came back the next day and removed a dead rat from one of the traps, yay!! We have been dealing with several issues for the past few years and someone recommended Knock 'Em Out Pest Control to me. I called to make an appointment and Joemar came out, took a good look around the outside of our home as well as under the house. He explained to us what he saw and within a couple of days had sent us a full breakdown, with photos, of what we had discussed and the cost to address those issues. Once we signed the contract for the work, an appointment was scheduled for the work to begin. We have been extremely happy with the service so far!! Our issues were bats roosting above the front door, pigeons roosting under the solar panels on the roof, mice nesting and chewing on wires around and under the house and ground squirrels digging holes in the property and dining on plant roots. Evidently the critters think we're really nice people and true, we have been very accommodating, until now!!! With team Knock 'Em Out in our corner I'm pretty certain we will give them a rude awakening!! The bat roosting area has already been addressed successfully and there have been far fewer sightings of ground squirrels. There is no more pigeon activity on the roof, nor messy, nasty pigeon poop on the balcony. Clean up and sanitation were done under the house for mice and traps were set; they will be checked regularly and taken care of as needed. It's pretty easy to see why we're happy with the service right?? Well, wait, there's more!! So far I think we have had 5 or six employees working here at the house and EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM, no exaggeration, has been so polite, thorough in giving explanations and in doing the work, done an excellent job of informing us and of cleaning up when finished with the work, and just downright pleasant to be around. They respect our property and are focused on giving excellent service. Heck, the first time they were here working, they noticed a greasy spot in the driveway and since they didn't have anything with them to address that, they asked for a bit of dish detergent to clean up the spot!! What a terrible service. I had 2 mice in my house. I caught 1 myself with a glue trap but couldn't catch the other one. I called for their service. They sprayed propel inside my place (which is a rodent repellent). I couldn't get back in my home for 7 hours because of the smell. Well Its now been 2 weeks and still the same mouse. I called to get someone out here. 1 tech called me back and told me to call back in to the office. He was too busy. Emailed them again. They never responded. Finally I got a call and I told them how unhappy I was. I wanted to talked to a manager. The manager never called me back. I called the following day. I was talking to someone that takes calls in the office. He said that he was going to refer me to a supervisor. Well he never called me back The guy that answers the phone in the office said they are going to cancel my service. I asked I should get a refund since nothing has been done. He said he would call me back. Still haven't heard from them Update: I talked to Albert about a refund. He refused to give me back 175 dollars for the Initial setup of spraying my house . Today my bi-monthly service with Knock Em Out Pest Control started and I am very pleased with the services we received. Joseph himself came out and treated my front and backyard for pests. We have had some rodents the past couple weeks and Joseph set some traps in my garage and attic and put a box/trap that couldn't be opened or messed with by the dogs in the backyard. He was quick, pleasant and efficient. I can say I am a happy customer. We previously had Clarks and paid $35 a service more for them then with Knock Em Out and Clarks never gave us a box like we received from Knock Em Out for our backyard. We had been with Clarks since late 2007 and feel like they just did what they had to do to be paid. We hired knock 'em out pest control to seal our roof so bats will have no opening to enter, they did install bat cones as well for bats to escape but could not enter anymore. Jake, Joe and Moises did the work and they are very professional and accomodating and price is very reasonable. They sealed all sides of our house. We were worried about the bat droppings but they are also have service for cleaning and they went above and beyond. They deodorized and sanitized the area where there are bat poops. Update: The company promptly reached out after posting this review and came out to redo the work. Hoping the bats stay away this time! Horribly disappointed by our experience with this company. We hired them come out to do a bat exclusion. They spent maybe half an hour max at our home each of the two times they came out and charged over $800. It would have been one thing if the work they did actually held up, but about 9 months later the bats were back. We tried calling the company multiple times and left messages, but no one responded. This year I had an increase in rat/mice getting into my house, so I decided to contract with a professional service. I strongly recommend that you do not use Knock 'em Out Pest Control. They guaranteed that if I spent $2,450 for their exclusion services that no rats/mice would be able to get in the house. In addition, I also had the monthly preventative spray around the house. For 11 months my house has never been rat/mouse free. They would consistently say that they found another opening which should have been found during the initial inspection and the preventative spray did nothing. I asked for my money back as the problem never got better. They refused because they said work has already been done. So much for a guarantee. The incompetence of this company is extraordinary. Their service is to have the customer pay a large upfront fee, pay a monthly service and absorb property damage and do nothing to solve the problem. Then they say the guarantee only includes areas that they did work on. Coincidently, the neighbor that recommended them to me said they had a monthly service with them. They had a problem with ants which this Pest company could not get rid of and eventually would not even call them back. They contracted with Clark who solved the problem almost immediately. I will be taking Knock 'em Out Pest Control to small claims court. read more

It is high time I wrote a review for the excellent service I have received from Knock 'Em Out Pest Control over the last several years. It all began with a mouse....I wanted them out of my house! I'd spent a long time trapping and removing them from the kitchen and garage---a humane trap with food etc.. It was traumatic and overwhelming for this vegetarian animal lover. I finally called Knock em out. They came and took care of all of the openings the house had, as well as various recommendations around ants etc... It took me another couple weeks to remove all my live mice to a nice area across the street that is open space. Once the points of entry were closed, I've not had a squeak or a peep since. They are excellent in terms of spraying only where I need spray for black widows, ants and so on. Very responsive to emails and phone calls or texts. And on that note: Gabe is fantastic, and has taken care of my property now for a long time. He's quick to respond to texts in case I need something extra taken care of, and he always notifies me in advance of arrival so I can either get him a key to the gate or leave it open for him.
