Several years ago my tenants reported rat activity in the attic. Based on the review I hired HomeShield Pest Control to do the removal and sealing the rat route into the house. I was charged several hundred dollars for the initial work and promised no more rat activity. I subscribed their regular service and paid for the past several years. However, the rat activity is still there and even worse. Recently I called their manager and the new manager told me the previous service man never sealed what was found several years ago. That means they charged me for the job never been done. I had hard time to believe that. I think either they don't know what they supposed to do or they just keep the problem so they can keep charging me. Strange thing is once I left a negative review here, they quickly responded over night. I think as a responsible business they should pay more attention to do a better job instead of good review. I was coordinating this for my Dad and sister for a ranch property in Vacaville. The staff here made it all so easy by being organized and coordinated. I was able to schedule a free consultation and they sent me and my sister (who lives on site) a confirmation email. On the day of, Matthew, the technician, called my sister ahead of time and then patiently waited while she was on a call because she works remotely. He also was patient as my sister tried to find where the underground hole was and Matthew went through muddy and flooded mush to find the wasp nest. It turns out the rain made the issue go away but he did provide great information about what to do and other options given the many critters on the property. We received an emailed invoice (of $0 because it was free) but it was great to receive that information promptly. We will definitely be using them for all future pest needs! read more

He called ahead of time so I know when to expect him which is greatly appreciated. He showed me where the rats could have come in and placed some steel wool to block the entrance. He set up several traps and will come back to check. I also asked him about the gopher/mole issues we started having.
