I happened to see Keith working next door and I had a project of removing 3 storm door locking mechanisms and one door handle and rekeying 2 other door handles that I had yet to install. Keith is fantastic and very genuine !! I strongly recommend him. So here is the story. We recently moved to a new place and we thought our patio door/lock is not working and wanted to fix it. At first I didn't pay much attention to the reviews and hired a locksmith (who seems to know only about car keys/lock). He came to our place and within 5 minutes he said the fault is with the door and we have to replace the entire door to fix it. I was not convinced and wanted to get a second opinion. I can't say enough thank you to Keith for his advice for removing the old door nob from my door. I am able to replace 4 door nobs except for the last one, which is an old one without visible screws. I found ways to remove the caps and the screws but somehow this thing works differently from other door nobs and I was stuck. It took me 3 hours but still I couldn't find a way to get it out. I reached out to Knight's Locksmith late after 11:00pm. I didn't expect anyone to respond to me but Keith responded right away. He requested for pictures and could help without costing me a dime. I did some the following morning and he did get me his opinion to try and also if that one doesn't work, use a hacksaw to cut it out. I did finally remove it with a hacksaw. This only cost me $10. Keith could definitely take advantage of the situation by charging me big bucks but he didn't. I'm really grateful as I am not really handy and I view myself in trouble. Keith is a real lifesaver! We just had a situation where we locked ourselves out this morning and Keith was not originally available. Regardless, he followed up with us when he was available and wanted to make sure we found a respectable locksmith. After describing who we had coming, he felt like the guys who were coming sounded shady and insisted he come by to make sure we weren't being scammed. He didn't care whether he got paid, he just genuinely cared that it was being done properly. Keith is great! He is very easy going, honest, and professional. Sent rate quote request on Friday afternoon and got a reply right away. I needed a 2nd lock installed on my front door. He had some questions so we talked on the phone. He told me the door should be secure enough unless I have a specific need to have 2nd lock installed which I do. Appointment was set for today (Monday)11:00-11:30am. He showed up at 10:58, got the job done beautifully and cleaned up nicely. I asked to install another deadbolt on a different door. He took a look at it, instead of just getting it done and charge me for it, he explained to me how that door lock works, and again advised it's secure enough unless I really want a deadbolt installed.
