I was stuck out in the woods and locked my key in my rigand I just randomly looked up a good locksmith and this one popped up, I called them up and they've sent one of their guys over. Within 15 minutes the locksmith pulled up, very professional and great guy. He was able to get the job done real quick, I would definitely recommend the company and if you get the chance, request Mason Stone. That's who came in and saved the day. If I had the option of rating them a zero star, I would. I am a person that typically looks at reviews and think, that could have been a miscommunication, or something like that. Nope, they are really as bad as the reviews are. The company is a franchise not sure the guy really knows what he is doing. Overcharged me, said he installed more locks that he did. Bought 5 different door locks for the house and shops to be re-keyed and then charged me to change all the locks in the handles. Last I saw and knew, you can buy multiple locks with the same lock and not have to re-key them all. Cracked my door and said that he didn't do it, even though the crack goes right into where he installed a deadbolt. His craftsmanship is very poor completely botched a cut in the door jam. So ya, lesson learned. read more

DONT do business with these Thieves!!! Deceptive and unprofessional business practices!!!! Was quoted $29 service call. The tech that showed up looked more like a car thief than a locksmith. As he started to unlock my door I told him I needed a price first and I heard him say $29 which I thought was reasonable. Took him 2 minutes to unlock and then charged me 128.99! I asked him why and he said he told me $29 plus $99.99! Of course I didn't hear that part and would have never agreed to the price!! Slimy, deceptive and out right greed!!! Phone rep said it would be $29 to come out. Actual tech said it was $29 to come out and then $99 for the service. In all it took 30 seconds to get into the car (a rental--my actual car won't lock with the keys inside) and it took the tech 5 minutes to get to me after the call so travel and labor were extremely minimal. $50 or even $70 would be reasonable. $130 is brutal and greedy in excess. This business and ones like it are corrupt down to their basic ideology. They take advantage of people who are in a desperate situation and have no other recourse. That said, it's one thing to be vulture. At least be honest about it up front and tell your customers it's going to be $130 over the phone. You're already terrible people: at least be honest terrible people. read more

Caution!!! I had to wait 45 minutes for my regular locksmith so I googled to find other options and these folks said they could be there in 20 minutes so I agreed. When the guy showed up in an unmarked car with California plates and he got out with his slim Jim tool and told me there was a 29.00 service fee and it would cost 149.00 to open the car. I was completely shocked!!! My other locksmith quoted 40-50. So I assumed they would all be within a close range of this not almost 4 times that amount. I challenged him and he said he could drop it to 99.00 total so in the name of time, I did it. But I urge everyone to get a quote first so you know what you are dealing with. I do not like being taken advantage of and that is exactly what this company did. read more

Absolutely horrible! Do not use this company's services! I locked keys in my car late at night over the weekend and was told the cost would be $19 plus an additional base price of $35 to open the car. Thinking that was relatively decent I had them come out, but after the technician looked at the car he quoted me $119, which is absolutely absurd!!!! It literally took him 5 minutes to open the car and when I asked why the price went up, he mumbled something about liability for the car, which I understand, but he did not give me a very good explanation whatsoever! These people will charge you unfairly because they know you are in a time of need. They will rob you for a task that literally anyone could do, most of us just don't have the necessary equipment. The worst part is calling back and forth with them and the technician for the past 3 days now looking for a better explanation as to why I've been charged so much. No one can give me a straight answer, and I've been on hold way more than actually been able to speak to someone. They are not concerned with my unhappiness at all and do not care about proper business ethics!!!!!!!! Please do not use this company, they are thieves!!!!!! read more

Locksmith Plus charged me $150 to fix a mailbox lock, which didn't look anything like the original lock, and it stopped functioning properly after several months. So I called them and they said they wouldn't honor the extremely unprofessionaly work they did, and would charge ~ $30 to come out and look at it. No warranty and terrible customer service, this is a company that doesn't stand by their work or the customers they're supposed to be serving in a fair and reasonable manner.
