Excellent service. Helpful YouTube Videos. Very good inventory. They usually can get items not in stock if the manufacturer or supplier has them. The site has occasional sales. Site also has some "exclusive" offerings which are knives with better quality materials for slightly more money than the base models. The folks are very knowlegeable. The web site has helpful information in its knife database: In Stock, On Special, New Item, Free Shipping, Staff Pick, Gift Pick, Quality Pick, and Value Pick. You can search for items that are let's say are good quality, good value, and make a nice gift. read more

I have been a Knife Center customer for probably 15 years or more, and I have purchased a number of knives from them over the years, so imagine my surprise today when I go to log into the website and I receive a message stating that "Due to a significant amount of fraudulent activity linked to various VPN services, we have been forced to block associated traffic." I was able to find a phone number, but when I explained the situation, I was advised that the only way to fix the problem is to disable my VPN. So apparently now the only way I can use this site is to compromise my computer security. As of today, I am no longer a customer. BladeHQ here I come. read more

I've ordered only 2 knives from them, both Spyderco's and both had problems right out of the box. Customer service won't respond after dropping just under $600 on 2 new knives. They obviously just don't care which is incredibly disappointing. read more

UPDATE: Since my ill-fated conversation with the support center they have reviewed the programming of their site and have realized the error in the configuration of their promotional. They have also refunded the shipping and offered apologies after saying they were going to fix the issue with the site. Thanks to the people at Knife Center for reviewing the situation and seeing the issues I was pointing out and agreeing that a change in their methods needed to be made. I am awaiting my shipment but happy to say that the situation has been resolved. read more

Drove an hour to their Fredericksburg VA location to purchase a replacement pocket clip for my Benchmade and they are my nearest dealer. I was REFUSED service because "we aren't allowing walk-ins due to Covid". This is May 19, 2021 and there is no longer a mask mandate in place. After telling the employee how far I'd driven and what I needed, her response was a very rude "we probably have it, but you'll just have to make an appointment online and come back later". GFY, never getting a penny from me and I recommend the same for everyone else read more

Ordered knife, package came soggy and opened. Tried calling and emailing everyday for a week. No response. Still has my money

Shady, deceptive business practices and very poor customer service. I placed an order at the end of November for a Christmas present for my Dad, and the lead-time read "typically ships in 2 - 3 weeks" but apparently they don't like to update their website and couldn't change that to "out of stock and no lead time available." I mean, I figured that put my chances of having it before Christmas to be pretty solid. Well, Christmas came, I heard nothing from Knife Center, so I emailed their customer "support" to find out that they had no idea when they would be getting stock and wouldn't step up and offer me a discount of any sort for their deceptive business practices, but offered to ship it to me so I'd get it a day or two sooner after an indefinite wait of God only knows how long .... Because a day will sure make up for being lied to. I was told in the email exchange that they put "out of stock" on the website for the knife I ordered (I didn't order a CCP POS, but rather something made in the US), which would be nice, but they STILL HAVE "TYPICALLY SHIPS IN 2 - 3 WEEKS" on there, which is intended to mislead people into believing that it will ship in that timeframe - when it most certainly won't according to my experience, and I consider that to be false advertising. I am beyond disappointed with Knife Center and while I won't cancel my current orders, I will most certainly NEVER order from them again. All I know, is when I can't deliver on-time, or in a correct manner to my customers, I do what I can to make things right, and I sure as hell don't try to intentionally mislead them. They have a huge selection, but their pricing usually sucks. it is pretty common to see a "sale" price that was last week's regular price. If you are patient you can occasionally find a flash deal that is good. I picked up a Benchmade mini Adamas for like $175. That was pretty rare though. Usually their sale price is just the regular price after they have tempor increased the price. read more

KnifeCenter is fantastic to work with. Great pricing, excellent customer service, expedient shipping and great follow up. I had a question about redeeming my credits to add to use on purchase. I sent them a note and with in hours I had a response and an unsolicited advice on how to use more than one redeemed credit card on a single purchase. They didn't need to do that but they did. I ordered a $395 Olamic Busker. A day later I received an order confirmation stating I would receive tracking info the following day. Five days later and no tracking info I called customer service. I was informed that since I was a first time customer and my shipping address was different than my billing, that they had robo-called me and left a message. Since I had not responded, the knife had not shipped. The lady I spoke to said this was their policy. This seems like a sensible policy, and I understand it. However, the order confirmation e-mail I received made zero mention of a phone call, so I did not expect it. Furthermore, I receive on average two robo-calls a day, some of which leave messages. I saw the call from Knifecenter, and the message, but I regarded both as just another robo-call and ignored them. Consequently, I am left without the knife one day before I expected and required it. I certainly own my share of the blame for not following up sooner, but Knifecenter customer support made no attempt to make it right, or even acknowledge that this workflow was a problem. After five minutes of conversation, all I got was a token apology and a begrudging agreement to pass my comments on to their tech team. And in fact, the lady I spoke to seemed almost eager to cancel my order when I requested it. This is my first and last time trying to buy a high end knife from a corporate store. Zero stars if I could. read more

Recently ordered a knife and received it in just a few days. Shipping was only a couple dollars and the product was great so I ordered two more as gifts that I needed quickly. I never received tracking or any notice from the company and contacted them after a week only to learn they were out of stock. Well, thanks for letting me know! Told them that rush shipping was no longer needed as the gift opportunity had come and gone. they replied that priority (more expensive) shipping was the only option and they would be sent when they were in stock again. the knives showed up one day, again without any tracking or updates from the company. The product was good but customer service was non existent. Oh yeah, about 2 days after getting them I got an email from the company that said they were offering free shipping-slap in the face! read more

Unbelievable!! After a failed attempt to get a specific knife from Amazon, I found KnifeCenter on the internet. They had the item in stock for a lower price. The shipping was immediate, or should I say instant? The customer service could not have been better. The packing was incredible and the delivery occurred in less than two business days. All of this would rate a 5 star rating but it gets better. You know all the idiot merchants that bombard you with email that they have no intention of monitoring or replying to? I got what I thought was one of these from KnifeCenter and I replied to see what would happen. In less than 12 hours I got a response asking if there was a problem or if something had been missed. I do not see any reason for shopping anywhere else for knives. read more
