Kneaders in Draper was my go to for take out for lunch. After my experience today, Jan 20th 2026, I will never go back. I ordered a Turkey Cranberry Sandwich, which I always do, it's my favorite. Not any more, there was hardly any turkey on it, one little strip of swiss cheese, and pasty old cranberry sauce. It came with a teeny tiny bit of lettuce, which was brown, and old. A "cup" of chicken soup, or I should say a quarter cup of chicken soup, with hardly any chicken in it. Just some noodles and carrots. It came to almost $20, this was so ridiculous! My worst meal of the New Year. You really failed Kneaders, you used to be the bomb of all sandwich places. And the place to go for me, my family, and friends for lunch, not anymore! The atmosphere was definitely lively considering the colder season hitting, with families craving hot and fresh soups and sandwiches, but the liveliness through the holidays truly adds a little something special. The service was pleasant. The gal at the register greeted my boyfriend and I and took our order with a cheerful demeanor, and brought us our food with a smile. Now the food itself was absolutely the highlight. Something about dipping the crisp provolone Muenster melt into the broccoli Cheddar just hit something different in the most fantastic way. I highly recommend both individually and EXTRA recommend eating them both together the way I did. The pesto butter on the melt is addictive and the soup was served piping hot. The mini raspberry tart was both the perfect size and the perfect taste for an after lunch dessert. A divine blend of tartness and sweetness that raspberries are known for in a crumbly little shell with what I believe is cream cheese under the raspberries. Hubby and I had a pleasant experience dining here. The staff were friendly and prompt. We tried some pastries, salad and soup. Or they are completely out of something. I just went this last time and ordered an apple cranberry salad which they changed from the Turkey Cranberry salad. You now pay almost $4 to add turkey. Consistently good. I prefer the Turkey Bacon Avocado Salad (no deli turkey here, it's the real , sub balsamic vinaigrette for the ranch. And a slice of 10-grain hazelnut on the side. The only thing that Kneaders serves is jumbo sized Highway Robbery! My wife and I went through their drive through and ordered two sandwiches and two soups. We were charged $41.09!!! No drinks, no chips, no desserts. Plus we got to watch two of their ding-a-ling workers walk around behind the counter the entire 15+ minutes time and do nothing! For that amount of money I could have gotten two full real meals anywhere else and gotten decent service. I will NEVER go back to Kneaders - what a rip-off! read more

We got a Raspberry cream pie and it was incredible. It's next to a home made banana and chocolate from another store. The raspberry was my favorite. Kneaders also has the amazing cream of broccoli soup, that I get as often as possible. This is a story about customer service...or lack thereof at this particular venue in Draper. So back on October 19th after 6:00 PM or so, my wife patronized this store to get a salad. I dropped her off to run inside and I drove over to Water Moon to get some Moo-Shu Pork. I ordered, waited, and returned to the car only to find that my wife was STILL in Kneaders...waiting this whole time. So I drove back over the Kneaders and waited...and waited...at least another 10 minutes until she finally came out...pissed! Turns out she was in there for upwards of 25-30 minutes waiting for them to make one salad. ONE salad. And what did she encounter...? Folks that came in after here got their food items first and we're back out and long gone...while my wife waited. She noticed that the drive-through got priority, but even after she spoke up to complain about the wait, she got little if no response. Just staff snickering at her complaints. No manager came out and apologized, or offered her an explanation...nothing. So a 25-30 minute wait for one salad. Yes...I would LOVE to hear from a manager or owner of this franchise as to why it took so long, why everyone was snickering at my wife, why that nobody had the intestinal fortitude to step up and apologize. First time visit for a networking breakfast. I've driven by this centrally located restaurant a few times, but have never made it in. The selection options were good-lots of pastries and yummies, but I just wanted some warm oatmeal since it was a cold morning. I ordered that and some orange juice to ensure a little extra immune system protection in this cold season. I sat down with my group and waited several minutes. After a bit, the girl who took my order came over and told me that the oatmeal wasn't made and wouldn't be ready for awhile, could she bring me something else? I was disappointed, but told her to bring me a pastry instead. Darn, I really wanted oatmeal-I wonder how long it takes to whip some up? Brilliant smoothie, sad brownie slow delivery. Enjoyed Strawberry Tsunami smoothie it was the best I had in a while! had to wait 10 minute which is not unusual in today's fast food service. I've been in here quite a bit since it opened because it is a convenient location near my work. I've brought clients and coworkers here for lunch mostly. They have a menu where you can choose a sandwich or salad and add a drink and dessert for a fixed price. I find their prices a bit high for the average lunch but the food is made to order and I like their selection. They have free samples of breads and cakes by the register typically. They offer sodas but also flavored ice tea, coffee, chai, etc. I've tried several of their desserts that have been good. On one visit, I encountered a cashier who was less than friendly and helpful. I wanted a piece of pie with my meal and she insisted that the type I wanted is not sold in "pieces" and that I must buy the entire pie. The reason I came this time was for the pie, and of course being one person, I did not want the entire pie. I asked a few more questions about options and she was adamant that she would not sell me pie in no uncertain terms. I turned and walked out without purchasing anything. That experience kind of soured me on this location. I see it every morning when I drive by and would love to feel welcome when I went in and eat some yummy dessert. However, I cannot know if I'll get that same rude cashier so it better to avoid the store altogether. read more
