I went thru the drive thru and went inside on another visit. Location had clean floors, nice ambiance and clean soda area. Customers can taste the bread featured that day. I just left the Idaho Falls, Idaho Kneaders restaurant. I ordered a BLT on focacia rosemary bread. They put it on white bread with tiny bit of rosemary. I took it back and they said that IS the focacia. Wut tf?! It definitely is NOT focacia. I have spent lots of time in Europe, and if what you serve is focacia, then it's a unfunny joke (it's a white loaf). When I returned the sandwich the manager (Jessuca Kofoed) was disrespectful and unhelpful. No apology. No questioning how to make it right, but ... lots of attitude. She did not give me a return receipt. So I went back and asked for one and was treated even more poorly by a woman named Dulce Figuero (who claims to be the nicest person who works there, lol ... doesn't speak well of the franchise TBH!). This is not the first time I have had an issue at this franchise. In June, I went there with three friends, and two of four of our orders were wrong. Unacceptable. Do better. read more

I don't understand how a restaurant can not post prices on their menu. Their excuse is that the menu changes all the time. Well, grocery store price prices change all the time. Can you imagine going to a grocery store with no prices and not knowing how much you're going to be spending? When I got to the window to get my order, the girl gave me a lecture about how corporate has made this decision. I ordered a cinnamon roll and it was small, tough, tasteless and over $5. Years ago I had a cinnamon roll there and it was really good, but this had a little bit of glaze on top instead of the cream cheese frosting that it used to come with from what I recall. Wow. I am blown away by the service and friendliness today. They're always fantastic here, but today was extra-spectacular. There was an order mix-up and Sierra handled it with grace and a smile on her face the whole time. Not only did she reverse the charges of the order behind me (accidental mix-up), she did not charge me for my sandwich even though they made it AND she even gifted a surprise in the bottom of my bag - a Kneaders signature loaf of bread! Completely unnecessary to do either and yet it was these two small acts that made my day! Wow. We stood in the online pickup for 20 minutes after we had ordered online 30 minutes before that. The other folks with online orders were doing the same. The Uber kid mentioned to me that it is always like this at Kneaders. The food is average at best, desserts are impressive, but the overall meal is meh. Coffee was empty and no half and half creamers and no cane sugar. Had to stay a week in Idaho Falls and this ended up being my favorite place for breakfast treats and lunch. The place was always clean the vibe was comfortable. It can definitely get very busy at peak times. When taking a day-long trip to Craters of the Moon National Park we were able to order breakfast and also have sandwiches made for lunch. This used to be my favorite place to get a salad, but recently the lettuce is disgusting! The last 3 times I've order a salad it's had lettuce so old I'm afraid someone will get sick. Today the manager assured me that the lettuce was good, so I gave it one more chance. However, yet again... She did give me today's salad free after I told her about the last couple of times, which was nice of her. (2nd star is for her being nice.) Unfortunately, a gross free salad doesn't make up for the previous gross salads. Kneaders, I think you guys can fix this lettuce problem, but until then I'll go somewhere else. read more

I went to kneaders this morning after a doctors appointment. I was soooo excited to get their French toast! It's always so soft and fluffy! I live and work in Rexburg so I grabbed my stuff to go through the drive thru. When I got to Rexburg and started eating my French it was SOOO hard!! If you want the world's best sandwiches or salads, then look no farther. There is a vast array of selections on the menu, and the service is impeccable. This place is super particular in hiring and demands only the best quality for it's customers. Every time I go, there is a big line which is a message saying, "Everyone loves the food here!" Not only is the food out of this world, the dining experience is fabulous. I like the granite tables,and comforting wood work surrounding the area. When the folks came to town, we picked up a to-go order at a time that looked to not be busy. Well, it took an unusually long amount of time to fill the order. But even worse--and to my utter horror--while eating my sandwich, I removed the bread to add some mustard AND I FOUND AN INCH-LONG STRAIGHT BLACK HAIR. I was so disgusted and simultaneously mortified that my entire family would freak out, that I didn't say anything to anyone. This was the final straw. I had already had a previous, absolutely irritating experience with sitting in the drive-thru for 30 minutes despite there being only one car ahead of me. BUT THIS?!?! This place is very poorly managed. It seems as though half the items are unavailable due to a lack of products in the kitchen. The coffee was empty - again.What we did order came out wrong. And mostly, without fail, every time I come here, the tables and floors are disgusting. I always end up wiping off my own table. I must be insane to continue with this culinary madness. I looove Kneaders. Originally went every day in the midvale, UT location since it was right by my house. The food here in IF is equally as amazing!! However, the staff tonight was a little surprising to me. I came in for a to go order, a newer girl was working the register who was sweet as pie. She asked twice for assistance to edit my to go order and was ignored by her managers. She did her best voiding out my ticket and re-entering the orders, and got yelled at by the staff who previously ignored her. Wtf??? This is not the first time this has happened during my visit either... Not worth a crappy star rating, but management- pay attention when your staff needs help instead of yell at them in front of customers! That sucks for everyone involved! read more

I will NEVER step foot into a Kneaders again. My son has worked at this location for a year. Has NEVER been late. Has NEVER taken a sick day. Has ALWAYS given a 100%. Kneaders has three policies posted over their work station. 1) always wear gloves. 2) wash hands frequently and 3) never work sick. Last week he had the flu. He texted everyone that wasn't working. Nobody could work for him. He was prepared to go into work, when he called his shift supervisor who told him to stay home. The supervisor later called him telling him the store manager wanted a note from a doctor. Because he didn't go to the doctor (and pay a co-pay that is equivalent to 4 hour of work) they said they would have to terminate him. Of course, they wanted him to work his shift that he showed up on time for. Although the food is good, I CANNOT support a company that treats it's great employees so terribly. read more

First this review dealing with curbside pickup only. Tonight was an epic fail for them. Our order was supose be ready at 7pm. We'll at 7:30 I gave up and went inside. I'll start with the good. The staff was friendly and very helpful. That's why this review gets two stars and not just one. I can forgive the runny eggs in the omelet with the burnt edges. I can't forgive the absolutely horrid coffee. They serve it in black cups. That seems a fitting representation of the acrid liquid it holds. I've been here twice. Their French Toast is good but if you can't drink it with good coffee what's the point? I got the Greek omelet this time. As I said before, the eggs were runny in the middle and the edges were burned. I think it's time that restaurant owners realize people spend hard earned money eating out. If we choose you at least honor that by serving food that's cooked correctly. Find some coffee that won't burn a hole in the ground because it's so strong and acidic. I like my coffee on the stronger/bolder side but this was brewed in the devil's kitchen. read more

We asked what kind of pies they had in the display case. She walked over annoyed and went though the names of the pies with her head facing the floor and mumbled the names of the pies through her mask. Both my husband and I could NOT understand her. She repeated, this time pulling her mask down looking very put out. Does she not want to sell the pies? I dunno. Could it be because I'm Asian and obviously not white? Or is she just this dismissive equally to all the customers? I will never know because this Kneaders in Ammon, Idaho SUCKS and I don't want to ever return to find out. It just left a very sour taste in my mouth. I've been to Kneaders in Utah and Nevada and have always received fantastic and thoughtful service. Somehow, I feel betrayed. It has been in the past a little too dense for my taste but still great. This time it was lighter and eggier which I love. The strawberries and whip cream are always awesome too.
