WOW! I only stopped in and took a sweet roll to go, but I will most certainly be back soon. The ladies behind the counter were so sweet and patient with me as I made my decision- there were so many flavors to choose from! We were passing through and jumped off the freeway to grab breakfast and we're glad we did. These rolls were delicious! Fluffy, not too sweet centers balanced with their toppings. All the flavors we tried, caramel nut, huckleberry, orange and original we would get again. The staff was friendly and very helpful. While visiting our kids we discovered Rexburg has some slim pickings for breakfast spots! After an internet search, we decided to order some rolls online to take back to our son's home. Initially on pickup, my husband was told that they never received the order, but by the time I joined him in the shop they were preparing the to go order for us. The rolls are pretty spendy, but absolutely delicious! Soft and pillowy, but surprisingly not too sweet. I also liked that the icing wasn't a cream cheese base, which is sometimes too heavy. I would have appreciated options for some of the other flavors via the online ordering (orange, and huckleberry were my choices) but they did not show up in the drop down. Overall, I highly recommend these rolls. They just need to fine tune their online ordering process. The young ladies on duty were competent and kind, and worked quickly to solve the problem with our order. This establishment may also want to consider expanding their menu to include more breakfast offerings because Rexburg could definitely use a delicious sit down breakfast spot! read more

Grew up with Mrs Powell's bakery. They have the BEST soup in a bread bowl and the cinnamon rolls are to die for. Unfortunately the one in my hometown closed years ago. I was ecstatic to find one here and it was just as good as I remember. Definitely get a cinnamon roll, and don't forget to try their soups! read more

Not only did I eat twists from your old location in the IF mall, we used to enjoy twists from the Poky mall, when we visited my mall-walking champion grandparents. Fast forward to this Christmas holiday, when the Mothership ordered a dozen twists for the fam to gnaw on while all of us now cosmo-kids were home visiting our origin-place. Imagine the dismay when we opened up one of the boxes, distributed twists amongst the peeps, quick nuke for warmth, a little extra frosting for "Oh, what the heck. Why not!" Pieces of the subject twists made their way into everyone's chompers, and bam...I felt like the twist was trying to sand the enamel off my teeth. Dang it! I put so much effort into rebuilding this enamel! Anyway, gosh the twists are dry..dry..dry... What happened Mrs. P? Your buns and twists used to make Grandma's version taste like cardboard. So sad! I was very disappointed with my purchase here. The cinnamon roll that I bought should have been discarded days before. It was as dry as a bone. It hard to believe that an independently owned business that depends upon repeat customers would sell stale goods. I make attempts to support small businesses such as this as opposed to corporate stores like Albertsons a few doors down. Delicious and very well worth the calories. My daughter was ecstatic to be able to have the gluten free and I loved the orange roll. Me and my boyfriend went to the new location in Rexburg and LOVED IT! We got two grilled cheeses and an orange bun. We adore the flavor of the orange bun! It's not too sweet and not too iced. It was just right! I also liked the size of the treats since I like to split them with whoever I'm with. The grilled cheese was grilled to perfection on both sides. I got the Ruby and my BF got the pizza one. His wasn't as flavorful as mine, and he didn't realize the pizza grilled cheese came with olives (he picked them off his sand which) but otherwise, we loved our visit! We loved our visit so much that we will be back again very soon! Also, they have a small shelf for 50% day old baked goods! We got ourselves a bunch of rolls at a great price! Def one of my new favorite treat places.The atmosphere was great too, and the dining area was clean and bright, but the bathrooms were super far back in the store.
