I frequent Kneaders when ever possible and each time is very satisfying. Besides the food being so deliciou, the portions are generous. The general manager, Nicole and her staff are kind, professional and very accommodating to any special dietary need. Kneaders hosts a few events for kids annually to be "chefs". I went in because I wasn't familiar with their menu at all. I got a couple of their round bread loaves, scooped out some of the bread and then baked Brie in it. They were perfect for that. Their soups are awesome. I tried the Lobster Bisque and the Chicken Noodle. I also got Croissants and a couple of Ruben Sandwiches . It wasn't all for one meal, it fed us well for almost a week. Drove an hour to purchase 2 large gift baskets (which they specialize in) around 2:00 pm and was turned away because they said their manager wasn't there. There appeared to be over 8 people working at the time. If you're going to offer gift baskets as a big part of your business, it would make sense to have someone there to make such baskets. Their desserts are delicious. Sandwiches and soup are okay. Love their housewares and the fact that they offer so many options for gift baskets, but I guess you have to make sure there's a manager there before making the drive. read more

Food is pretty darn good, other than the price. Now as far as service everyone is fairly friendly but they are super slow. If you're looking for a quick meal this isn't the place for you. I've been to other kneaders and they're all quicker than this one. read more

This is the only Kneaders I have ever been too, so I can't complain. The food is more expensive, but the quality is great. You get what you pay for. I usually go through the drive through because they give priority to those customers. I've gone inside and had to wait in a ridiculous line because employees kept leaving the register to help with the drive-thru. read more

I had another negative experience at Kneaders IF. Terribly slow line and food was SO SALTY. She explained that "the salt just sometimes comes out to fast and we don't catch it in time", and laughed it off. Hello, would have liked to know that before I spent 8 dollars on the darn sandwich. A simple phone call to Kneaders in Ammon, Idaho, resulted in a tasty, hearty meal being delivered and then enjoyed by a grieving family in the ICU waiting room at EIRMC. When I spoke with Jace, I believe he could hear the urgency in my voice. I live out of state and I wanted to somehow be able to let this family know how much I cared. Jace quickly, respectfully, graciously, and professionally took my order and assured me that the sandwiches, soup, fruit, and dessert would be delivered asap. Within two hours I received a wonderful text from a distraught family member stating that the delicious food could not have come at a more welcome time. I know Kneaders creates yummy food every day. That sad and discouraging day Kneaders delivered love. I will be forever grateful. read more

I love Kneaders, but am only giving it 4 stars because they have changed their incredible syrup on their French toast to caramel. None of us that tried it, like it. Why change something so good?! We won't be coming for their French toast anymore. Other than that, the food is delicious. read more

This is the best sandwich shop in town. Their bread and desserts are fabulous. They are generally as fast as anyone else, but these people have been slammed, while learning the system. About 1/3 of the staff seems experienced and the rest are learning. I have waited 30 to 40 minutes, but that will change. That time was when the line was outside the door! Considering their sandwiches are not "corporate" it will take some time. Patience is worth it, it is a great shop. And within a month I am sure the times will fall as they have at the other Kneaders I have visited. read more

The food was excellent though they got the order wrong. Way wrong! Turkey avocado sandwiches generally have avocado! The young girl at the register was constantly confused and didn't know how to use the register or make change! The only reason the line went out the door must have been because the food is good. read more

This was my first visit to Kneaders Bakery. I was hoping to purchase a loaf of dark rye bread - like the kind made by independent German bakeries years ago. I saw a loaf of rye bread on the self so I asked the counter person if she had dark rye. She responded by saying that it was dark on the inside. So I purchased a loaf and took it home. When I cut the loaf open it was light rye bread - not what I wanted at all. But what was much worse was that the bread was chewy - to the point of being inedible. I threw the remaining loaf away. It would have pulled the teeth out of my head. Don't buy bread from this bakery. read more

I can't believe this restaurant only gets 3 stars overall, what are people thinking?? I'm picky and thought the food was fantastic, it was clean and the employees were super friendly. It was very crowded so obviously everyone loves this restaurant in spite of what people might write here on Yelp. Horrible experience through the drive-through. I was in a hurry and no one was currently in the drive-through. Place my order, two kids meals, and a half salad. Drive to the window and sit, and sit. Finally someone comes to the window takes my money, then we sit forever! I literally could see our bags on the counter. The girl was now filling orders for those behind me. A little communication goes along way. If she was waiting for an item on our order, she simply could of told me. She was rushed and cold. Finally, she starts handing me our order, and the lid on my drink was not on all the way. The outside, inside of my van , and me were drenched. I get it accidents happen, but this topped of the experience. Later I realized she forgot to give me my bread. I wasn't about to take all of my kids in and ask for it. Next time I will go to chick-fil-A. Their Customer service is excellent and efficient. I read more

I just talked with someone on the phone named Mike. My interaction with him does not match the interactions I have had with other people there. He puts Kneaders in a very poor light. He doesn't understand proper phone etiquette, let alone basic customer services. The point there being service. I asked if I could order and have an item delivered for Monday for lunch. No follow up questions just straight into - quote - "Yeah, one of us just can't get in our car and deliver that. We just can't do that. You'll have to do something else." The other people I have talked to there have been more along the polite and kind lines, something such as, "That's great you want to order that, thank you and a great choice. We would love to help you get that delivered. First, unfortunately, we wouldn't be able to deliver such a small order (which I already knew), but here are some options for you." I think Mike needs some serious training at home first, then come back to the work world. read more

This place doesn't even deserve the one star I gave it. I realize this is a new restaurant, but the service was appalling. I had to wait 25 minutes for a single sandwich and there were only 7 other people in the store. When I finally got my food, they forgot my complimentary chips and my sandwich had none of the sauce that was supposed to be on it. I spent $8 plus tax on a Rueben that was barely qualified to bear the name. The crew was lazy and the management was poor. I saw several people in the back on their phones. I believe they were the managers as they were wearing shirt and ties. Whomever the store manager is, they are doing a very poor job of making sure their employees are doing what they are supposed to. Very unsatisfactory and I will not be coming back. Below average food for an extreme price. I will stick to Panera Bread. read more
