01/14/25 A small store in a strip right next to 7-11. I was greeted by both employees working. The girl who helped me was very nice and patient with me while I tried to make hard decisions. First time visiting but recently had a kronut. It was my last day of work last week and my coworker bought some donuts from here. I tried the strawberry kronut and MY OH MY. Where have you been all my life?! I loved it so much that I had to get it again! Filled with slices of strawberry with what tastes like whipped creamed cheese with a strawberry jam mixed in and topped with powdered sugar. It's sooooooo good. I also tried the Nutella kronut. This was a perfect treat to satisfy a chocolate craving. The main thing about these kronuts is that they're not overly sweet. Like they don't use a lot of sugar. It was just the perfect amount of sweet. You have to try it to understand lol I also got a Vietnamese iced coffee. This was amazing as well. Overall 10/10. Will definitely be back!
Great donuts and friendly service. They are a bit pricey but very special. Creative and very tasty, worth it for a special treat! They also make great Viet Coffee and Boba drinks! Today was just a special donut run! So many great flavors to choose from! Everyone I picked was a big hit with the family! We split several to try more flavors! Guava Cream, prettiest donut and so good. Dubai Chocolate Cronut, the priciest of the six, very messy and yummy, and had some strawberries inside. Who doesn't like Dubai Chocolate and together with a cronut? Definitely a winner. I personally loved the Nutella and this one I didn't share, another messy but so tasty! Berry Cronut was devoured by husband, he was late to the party! Thumbs up. Cinnamon bun and Apple Fritter is saved for tomorrow. Knead has very fresh and creative donuts. Been there many times, consistently great! It's nice to see them expand. There is a new Long Beach in Signal Hill, near Costco. The PCH/Clark location is closest to home, although I patronize both!

Surprisingly disappointed. We've been meaning to try KNEAD for a while and finally decided to go--also hoping to surprise our granddaughter. Yikes. Disappointed is an understatement. Just look at the donuts--they're beautiful. Bright colors, creative toppings, great presentation. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. Everything here feels like it's built for looks rather than taste. The whipped cream was thick, hard, and almost waxy--I was expecting something light, fluffy, and creamy. We tried several donuts, including the Boo-Berry, which didn't even compare to a basic cake donut from an average shop. The biggest red flag? Our 8-year-old granddaughter. She immediately picked the rainbow donut, got excited... and only ate about a third of it. That alone spoke volumes. It's rare for a kid that age to not finish a donut. The only one that was somewhat decent was the banana cream cheesecake--but even that didn't taste anything like cheesecake. It was barely passable, mainly because of the banana cream filling. Out of the four donuts we ordered, none were finished. Most had more than half left and ended up in the trash. Looking back, we probably should've taken the hint when we walked in and saw only one customer. Great concept and presentation, but the taste just doesn't match. Needless to say, we won't be returning.

One such spot is the family-owned-and-operated Knead Donuts & Tea, a trendy Long Beach bakery just a few minutes south of Pacific Coast Highway. The ambitious flavors -- think pastelito de guayaba-inspired croissant donuts or Remy Martin-infused rings -- fuel one of the city's most picturesque Instagram feeds and attract visitors across Southern California. From the street, Knead's enormous backlit sign eclipses an otherwise diminutive shack. Inside, the inviting shop has pops of Cambodian flair, from the temple incorporated into the logo to Buddhist icons intermixed among the houseplants and framed accolades. On the weekend, expect to witness staff members hard at work preparing fresh donuts, as fresh trays keep coming out of the kitchen even late into the morning. No music plays -- only the chatter between staff and regulars echoes around the narrow room. My partner and I visited on a weekend morning, and we were immediately offered to begin our order with piping-hot Tiger Tail fresh out of the fryer (I was impressed by the courtesy, as plenty of other tiger tails were already sitting out on the display case). We ended up getting 4 donuts. The aforementioned tiger tail was the highlight: I was most impressed by the crispy, funnel cake-esque texture of sugar folded within a pillowy, forearm-sized package. Meanwhile, the gorgeous Guava Cream Cheese sported a light, flaky croissant donut base, although I found the rich flavor swirl to be more cream cheese-y than guava-forward. Knead's Maple Bacon was also enjoyable; the flavor profile was notably smoky, and I appreciated the even distribution of crispy bacon bits and thick icing. Only the Creme Brulee donut was a true dud; the thin crisp of glazed sugar and subtly vanilla-flavored filling were both muted and forgettable. The staff was efficient and inviting, and the donuts were enjoyable overall. Nonetheless, our $25 bill made me raise my eyebrows. Even at their best, Knead's donuts are better described as "unique" than "exceptional". And for $5+ per donut, I wouldn't be a regular even if I lived in the neighborhood. Still, the whimsical mashups are a fun option for the adventurous donut lover.

Food: 5/5 Very tasty speciality donuts with a variety of flavor option. I'm a big fan of oreo so definitely which was very good. The others including cheesecake, cobbler were also fantastic! Service: 5/5 Staff were inviting and speedy. Ambiance: 5/5 Although location is small and parking can be a little tight, the shop is very nicely decorated with lots of glass enclosures for displaying donut. Nice Long Beach Donut shop to check out. Also love the box design!
Their food is not cover up in a proper glass container , I walked in and saw a fly flying and landing on the donuts on the left told the owner and he acts like he doesn't care , made me want to throw up i cant eat that and would never eat that until he fixes and actually contains his food and not let it sit out

recently stopped by after seeing this place on TikTok and decided to give it a try. When I walked in, there were two customers ahead of me, and I let them know it was my first visit. The shop has a nice aesthetic with music playing, but it's located in a small mini parking lot and can be easy to miss. I ordered half a dozen cronuts and a large iced coffee. I didn't realize the cronuts are priced per unit -- ranging from $6-$7 each -- and the drink was also a bit pricey, so the total adds up quickly. The flavors were absolutely delicious. However, I do think the price per donut is a bit steep and could reasonably come down by a dollar or two. Customer service was okay overall. It's a cute spot with great pastries, just more of a treat-yourself stop due to the pricing. read more
Knead is so underrated and doesn't recieve the hype it deserves. The vietnamese coffee with variety of tops you could get on it...sooo good!! The coffee has different levels so if you need a pick me up or CSULB students, it's finals week? Def check out this place. The service is quick and super nice so you can just sit for a few minutes and get your coffee asap! Also maybe snap a quick pic with your office with the LB sign by the door. read more

My husband said the cinnamon roll tasted like a churro! Fluffy and soft! But their Vietnamese cold coffee? WHOA! We got semi-sweet dairy free and was overwhelmed with flavor! It's not too sweet. This is by far one of my favorite donut spots in Long Beach! Alex is simply amazing. He welcomes you with a warm and genuine smile. The selection of delectable delicacies is overwhelming, as I always have difficulty selecting just one, lol. But Alex is very knowledgeable and makes suggestions based off my taste buds at the moment and I must admit, his suggestions haven't been wrong yet! Everything he recommends is delightful and flavorful. My favorite is the Vietnamese coffee (sweet)and the croissant sandwiches. Because of him, I became addicted lol. I highly recommend anyone to stop by & patronage this wonderful business, you won't regret it. Bon appetite! read more

Great service! The manager always greets me with a smile and is patient and informative of available choices. A good spot for a grab and go coffee and/or artisanal donut. Expansive selection of drinks, maybe two people could comfortably sit and eat inside. I prefer to take it tg though. A bit on the expensive side read more
Try it! The coffee is good and if you want it strong like I do...it can come be really strong! Get you running up the walls strong haha. We had it at mid sweet level which was perfect. Additionally, my wife ordered a filled pastry which was delicious. I believe it was guava. (I could be wrong but good either way). On top of the drink/food the staff was extremely patient, helpful, and willing to explain the different levels of coffees they have so that we ordered the right one for us. Give them a try! read more

I heard a lot of good things about this spot, and to boot, its a stone throw from where I live. This isn't a regular donut shop, its very much gourmet, because I spent about 40 bucks on six donuts. Its worth it in all honesty, but I wont be making this a daily visit place. We got seven specialty donuts and I'm gonna go through them one by one. Ill start with the creme brulee because I'm a stickler about it. They pumped it with the creme and the outside was a little crunchy, but spot on in taste. The strawberry cheesecake was good (according to my girlfriend) the slice of strawberry on top was a nice choice. The churro roll was good, it wasn't crunchy enough to be a churro but the taste was there The maple bacon was amazing, spilling its tastes of maple, icing and bacon. The raspberry cronut was interesting. It reminded me of a raspberry danish with its crumble and such. Very delightful. The cinnamon roll was good, much like ones that are made in patissieres The salted caramel was good too, much like the maple bacon. There are way more pastries to choose from, but these are the ones that I would repeat, during a special time of the year or perhaps a holiday. read more

Wanted to give this place a try since I was in the area on memorial day. They didn't have many options left since it was almost closing time but still bought a few. Pricing was already a bit much for my liking. I ordered the Dubai donut and after a few tries I could not distinguish any flavor. The gentleman was trying to sell what he had left and was being pushy. Overall experience was NOT it. In my opinion donuts are not worth good. Far better options for example Voodoo doughnuts!!! read more
Came here the weekend as a treat to myself and team and there were smiles all around. I was bummed that they ran out the tiger tail and lemon poppyseed (which is what I especially came for). We got (2) Strawberry smoothies, (1) Raspberry tea, Churro Cronut, Apple Fritter and a Berry Nutella - all tasted good. It's recommended to come early between the hours of 8-9am when they have all the donut options available - says the guy working the front counter. I'll definitely be back to try other items on the menu. read more

Absolutely worth visiting. We always have had great food and service when coming to Knead. The owner, Alex is so warm and friendly. The food is excellent. My husband says "the works" croissant sandwich is the best breakfast sandwich he's had, and he loves his breakfast! I love the "Godzilla" hot dog in sweet dough. It is perfect. Now, the donuts are next level. They are made with quality ingredients and each one is so different. Decadent but not too sweet. Last but not least, the Vietnamese iced coffee is a great way to round out your meal. When you get a chance to visit, do it! You will be extremely happy that you did. read more
