My experience with this place was sketchy at best! I went to this Verizon store to try and get a…read morebetter deal than Xfinity and the first sketchy thing that I noticed was that Jeremy (the employee that was helping my wife and I) asked me to show him my billing information so I could receive the best possible price. The second sketchy thing was that Jeremy wanted to run a credit check on me which has never happened before when I opened a phone account or internet account. The third sketchy thing that happened was Jeremy asked me for a deposit which has never occurred before either and I had to ask them if this deposit was for the internet and phone service that I had applied for and Jeremy said yes and that it was nothing to worry about so I figured the deposit would be the first month of service which would have been $97.00 for both internet service and phone service so I gave him my credit card information and after Verizon took the deposit he said that my $125.00 deposit was accepted , so after the initial shock of hearing the amount of money that the deposit was, I asked why the deposit was more than the agreed price and Jeremy said that the deposit was not for the internet and phone service, the deposit was for installation of the cable. The cable and the equipment that they were going to charge me for is already installed in all 48 units of our condominium complex because the complex has a contract with Verizon . I have no idea how much they would have charged me after they did the work, only God knows but I immediately stopped the process of purchasing anything from Verizon and told Jeremy to return the deposit to my credit card account, which he said he did but when I checked to make sure that he did I found that he didn't and the charge went through and I had to have my credit card company force Verizon to return the money and to top it all off I called Jeremy to get some information on why and how the charges went through he asked if he could put me on hold for a second and then disconnected the call and would not answer the phone after that! I would suggest if you are going to shop with Verizon, be aware of Jeremy and the scams! The horrible people that had worked in this location are all gone and replaced by three very nice men and a new manager that I haven't gotten a chance to meet. I only went in to ask if my mom could pre order an S9+ and not only did they get my mom all set up but they also fixed a mistake I had made that will save me $500.00 when it is said and done with. These guys waited 30 min with me on hold with Verizon and one of them even gave his stool up so my mom could sit and wait. I am so excited that I FINALLY have a Verizon store close to home that has good people in it. The last crew burnt me bad. Give this store a second chance! It will be worth it :)

Whatever you think you will be saving, you will wind up spending later due to their lack of response and ineptitude. They will charge you just to get someone to the door. That person will have slightly more training than you do on the equipment and will look to defer any troubleshooting issues to the equipment manufacturer. Don't bother escalating to the "president." A direct quote in response to repeat billing for multiple service calls on the same issue: "it's your equipment, not mine. Why should I pay for troubleshooting."... this was equipment purchased directly through them. Pay for professionalism- go somewhere else. There's no way these guys will last.

The issue came on pickup... Apparently the container was overloaded and the driver Just dumped the extra trash off the top of the load without ever making a phone call or email from the office stating I needed to correct the problem and they would reschedule the pick up. I sent an email explaining the problem to Katy the office manager and received a phone call from Dave Schiebel the owner the next morning. When I spoke to Dave and asked why there was still trash in my driveway, he informed me that "his is a high paced business and drivers have no time" there are also "very small profit margins" and "there were safety concerns about the load and didn't want to kill anyone on the highway". What I don't understand is why they didn't tarp the load or tell me I needed to fix the problem before they picked up the container. Instead they just dumped trash in my driveway... Dave Schiebel never offered an apology or to clean up my driveway. He said it was my problem to fix. Sorry to say that there are many more projects and my friends with projects that will not be using his service. Pictures attached...

He knows…read moreeverything about the industry and designed us a beautiful whole home audio system which includes an ethernet backbone which ran from the demarc to centrally located amps in the attic and then ran speaker wire to in-ceiling speakers in the living areas and a pair of all-weather outdoor speakers off our deck. He spent about an hour with me to survey the job and then delivered his quote which was spot on despites some unforeseen anomalies with our house which we know is old and unfortunately, not always up to code. Nothing seemed to ruffle him as he found positive workarounds to each issue, vetting each one with us. The end result completely exceeded our expectation. Ken really delivered and although I think he is an IT/Home Theatre savant, more importantly, he's a good person who is a kind and thoughtful of others. Best money ever spent!
