I wasn't going to post a review since the owner was seemingly helpful at first but after seeing all his comments on here trying to invalidate people's experiences, I feel like I have to share. First, I do feel like the women who came and cleaned did great for the most part. Some things weren't "spotless" per se but honestly I don't expect that level of perfection and overall we were really happy with their cleaning. However, the last time we had scheduled, I came home after they had finished (my fiancé was here but was working so wasn't paying full attention) and noticed that all our closets and drawers had been opened. They even opened my jewelry cabinet. I noticed because one closet in particular, with jewelry from my deceased nana, had things that had been moved around and knocked over. All of these closets and drawers were closed and I figured that was an indicator that what was inside didn't need to be cleaned. I felt completely violated and upset. I didn't think it was necessary to keep inventory on all my personal items so I have no idea if they did steal anything; I haven't been able to find a pair of earrings but, again, stuff was knocked over so I'm not sure if they were stolen or just misplaced now somewhere in my closet. We notified the customer service number via text and my fiancé asked for the tip to be taken off. They told us that "this has never happened before." At the time I believed that it was an honest mistake, but now seeing these reviews and that people HAVE had things moved, thrown out, or perhaps stolen makes me extremely frustrated because now this business owner is unprofessional and a liar too I noticed he comments on people's reviews to try to discredit their experiences. That way if new customers see them, they think the reviewer is being dishonest. If you are a new customer, steer clear of this business, unless you want to worry about your things being stolen. read more

Used this company one last time because my husband wanted to try them one more time. The cleaners threw a bench brush and other trash inside our cat litter box. Today our cat peed on our furniture because he wasn't able to pee in his litter box--we didn't see the trash in the litter box (because why would we randomly check the litter box and assume that cleaners would throw trash in there?). The cleaners also tried to clean dog plates and dog silicone pads (that were placed on the floor under the dog bowls) in our kitchen sink on top of our high chair tray that my baby uses. Absolutely no training for cleaners at this company or consistency in their services. They just clean as quickly as they can within their allotted 3 hour period. read more

Team #19 did an amazing job! I'm modifying my review slightly because the service is immaculate and thorough, but I did have a mishap with scheduling. I had scheduled a deep cleaning more than a month in advance, received 4 reminders via email that a team was scheduled to come, and then no team showed up! This caused a great amount of unnecessary stress and inconvenience since I was scheduling a deep cleaning right before having an overnight house guest. We ended up having to reschedule for a few days later and changing our schedule to fit in the cleaning. Hopefully, this is a one-off and not a common occurrence. read more

I woke up on my day off at 5:45 am - to be greeted by the smiling faces of three charming young ladies, armed head to toe with a startling arsenal of mops and buckets and even jet pack vacuums, as if ready to do battle. Turns out, the metaphor is quite apt. WFH was supposed to mean more time to clean. In my case, it has meant more time for dirt to accumulate. The energetic Kleen crew tackled my unloved one-bedroom with equal parts elbow grease and laughter. I scheduled an appointment with Kleen after a recommendation from my friend. The scheduling process was easy and the communication with the company the same. The estimate after talking about my house over the phone was 3 1/2 hours, we were just done with adding a master suite to our house. 3 ladies came, they brought all their cleaning supplies, did a great job and finished an hour earlier then they estimated and only charge me for 2 1/2 hours. I get that business is business, but when I was moving out of my townhome, they didn't fully explain they would dump all the contents of your bathroom into a plastic bag. It's not my problem that they don't take the time to share the disclosure agreement and review exactly what the cleaning includes. My house was mostly cleaned out, but I had some remaining items underneath my sink to pack up. $400 worth of personal items was destroyed/compromised by a spilled soap dispenser, and the owner pressured ME into believing it was my fault for not reading the website. They also removed the knobs from my stove and broke one of them. They only offered to pay for materials, and I was left with a clean house and broken items right before closing escrow. It took me 14 months to write this review because I am now in a healthy place to identify that this is not decent business practices. The owner takes advantage of people in compromised situations and doesn't apologize for his employees actions. I would never recommend this business to anyone. read more

I recently made an appointment with Kleen for a basic cleaning for my apartment, and I couldn't be happier with the results. They were super professional and efficient with their work throughout. First, they made it super easy to get an estimate through text/Yelp messages. They estimated that the job would take about 1.5 hours given the size of our place. Also, I was really surprised by how punctual they were. Most of the time, I've dealt with businesses that arrive somewhat within an estimated time range (which is fine), but the team arrived at 1pm right on the dot. Our place is on the smaller side so I quickly showed them the rooms that needed cleaning and they immediately got to work. No guidance from me. I was able to stay in my room to do work until they needed to clean it. And the end result was impressive. Our place looked almost as clean as it did when we first moved in. While they did end up taking a bit longer than the initial estimate, they communicated this directly to us once it reached the 1.5 hr mark and suggested an additional 30 minutes to complete the job. They stuck to it and finished within the promised timeframe, which was greatly appreciated. Overall, the work was detailed, and the cost was fair for the quality. They claim to be using organic staff. However they use tons of bleach, eventually, they spill chemicals on my marble floors. I contacted them, their management team was too busy to even take a look at it in person. They sent their cleaning crews again. Then they used lemon, and tried to fix my sealed marble floors. They knew they screwed it, damaged almost 500 sqft, and their company is still too busy to come. After a month, they still didn't come, until I forward a quote from a stone restoration company, $1950. Kleen literally told me:"Only as the estimate is about 8 times what we typically pay for marble repolishing." Then they showed up. Took pics, will get back to you. Im still waiting. Today, they had a cancellation. Normally they came in the afternoon. Texted me around 8, and asked me to come between 9-10, I said no. 11 works. They went back and said my slot was reversed between 10-12. If that was true, then you were late every single week in the past couple months. Can't I say come in at 11 even if my slot was in 10-12? Isn't 11 in between the slot? Are you servicing customer? Or customers are begging to be served? We only have on time service when someone cancels their service? Is that how you run your business? Maid is a service people buy to make their lives easier. Working with you, it has been a real headache, your team always tell me you are busy, basic request cannot be accommodated. Management team is so arrogant to even try. For current customers, be careful. For new customers, good luck. read more

The 3 women who came were prompt, nice, and respectful, but I'm not very happy with their work because after they left, my floors were actually dirtier than when they first came. I think they mopped my balcony area in the beginning and then worked on the rest of my house, so all the grime from the balcony was tracked throughout the house! Everything looked clean, but our feet turned black everywhere we walked. I ended up completely swiffering the entire house and went through about 10 completely black pads. Some areas even had noticeable dirt from from when the movers came, even after the cleaning. We were able to clean it with a few passes with the swiffer, but it felt like something that should have been taken care of by the cleaning team! I understand that I got the basic clean, but at this rate, I feel like I could have just cleaned the house myself. For $166 at a $95/hr rate, it really felt like a rip off. Punctual, friendly, and meticulous! Just used Kleen's deep cleaning services today for our house and it was wonderful! Never knew our house could look so great. Most of the time it looks like a tornado trespassed through. The ladies arrived 8 AM sharp; I showed them the rooms and they started ASAP. Other than the standard vacuuming, floor cleaning, they folded all the towels in the bathroom, laundry room, etc., and organized all the clutter on the counters as well. Our kitchen is now pristine and I'm afraid to touch it and have it revert back to its sordid state. They definitely used some sorcery to have our place look like a model home.
