Dont get scared by the name - the flavours are perfectly balanced and work with each other. The Signature Grill - the best thing to get when you want to try many things. The lamb seekh was moist and flavourful, the malai tikka was tender and yummy and the Shrimp kolivada was just excellent. Lamb Kheema with pav - unexpected looking with a white yoghurty looking topping. But it was yummy and went really well with the soft pav. Butter chicken - I try atay away from butter chicken and chicken tikka masala in most places but reciews seem to rave about it so gave it a shot. Took me back to bombay at my facorite mughlai restaurant that made the bombest butter chicken. Also the garlic naan was also really good. Chicken biryani - Flavourful with tender chicken. My least favorite was the jackfruit biryani that was far too floral for my liking. Overall, the food was good. The service was pretty slow, but they did apologize for the kitchen delays before we left. It was just a bit disappointing to have to ask for more bread twice and still not receive it for around 20 minutes past the second time asking. I wish that the servers were a little more proactive about checking in during the delays. After trying so many menu items, I'd be interested in coming back and getting some of the favorites. I just wish I had an actual sense of portion size since the unlimited gives you painfully small portions of everything (except the biryani)

We got a table right away and ordered a vegetable samosa, something we love. It came out right away and it was so delicious. They were brought out with some sauces that elevated your plate. The samosa was a bit spicy but the many flavors paired so well together. For dinner I got the chicken tikka masala and my boyfriend got the butter chicken. We added the garlic naan and rice to our plate. The chicken tikka masala was very delicious. You can taste all the different spices in the dish. I love garlic and the garlic naan did not disappoint. It has such a great garlic taste and it was perfect for dipping in here masala sauce. The butter chicken was so buttery. It tasted very similarly to the chicken tikka masala though. Not pictured was our mango lassi. My boyfriend ordered it for us and in was pleasantly surprised. It's like a mango yogurt drink. It has a velvety texture and it was very flavorful. I would definitely get it again. Ultimately, I'd love to come back and try other items in the menu.

Interestingly, the waitress wanted us about the "spice" level and then everything came down all watered down. The curry tasted more like a mellow Thai peanut curry and I have no idea what they did to the lamb sauce because it was just a flavorful, spiceless sauce. I am so disappointed that we paid to have our food come out modified because someone in the restaurant decided we couldn't handle the heat when we explicitly said we wanted it spicy. Oh, and when I told the waitress none of the food was spicy she just laughed...

The A/C was delightful and were were seated right away. It got really busy by the time we left. I think it may be the best palak paneer I have ever had. I judge Indian food based on saag or palak paneer and this was a winner. We also enjoyed a tray of grilled meats. They were all really good but the chicken was a bit dry. The dahl was spot on. I am not a fan of basmati rice. THIS basmati rice was so so good. It was longish and kinky and didn't have a heavy flavor. The onion kulcha was a bit busy with lentils? in the middle. It was good but I prefer just onions. Both the naan and kulcha were baked perfectly. Warning: portions are huge!! This is great if you live there as it could have been our next three meals with leftovers. Made for a nice breakfast the next day in our hotel tho! Our server was gracious, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, particularly when helping us navigate a gluten-free dietary restriction. The service throughout the evening was polished without feeling formal or intrusive. Every course was delicious, beautifully paced, and appropriately portioned. We especially appreciated being able to enjoy our meal at a relaxed, unhurried pace. The atmosphere struck a wonderful balance: warm, convivial, and effortlessly sophisticated. The restaurant was bustling with couples, families, and larger groups, creating a lively but comfortable energy that made the evening even more enjoyable. Excellent food, thoughtful hospitality, and a welcoming atmosphere. KAMA delivered a thoroughly satisfying dining experience, and we would gladly return on our next visit to Chicago. Highly recommended!

The menu online looked promising, but when ordering through their website or UberEats, the options were pretty limited. I went with the goat biryani. It arrived really fast to my hotel and I dug right in. Opening it up, the container was packed to the max so definitely not stingy with portions. I loved that it had potatoes and a ton of meat. Taste wise, I'd say it wasn't the best Bangladeshi goat biryani I've had, but it wasn't bad either. It was okay. Obviously it doesn't compare to the motherland or New York or other big metro areas, but I'm still happy there's at least one Bangladeshi spot in Chicago. I just hope they add more items to the delivery menu at some point.

The Bhoomi Burger far exceeded all expectations! Believe it or not, the only thing this nitpicker…read morecan find fault with is that the burger was a little messy to eat - but that's to be expected. More on that later. I find most fast-casual burger places make something decent, and some make hockey pucks. Meanwhile, this one is leaps and bounds above the rest. The lamb patty on its own was not only soft and well-seasoned, but also brimming with flavor. Then I took a bite of the whole thing and temporarily bounced up to food heaven. The herbaceous, savory, and earthy notes of their chimmichutney took the burger to another level. The veggies added some additional freshness, with the avocado and mayo contributing even more savory notes. Big bonus points for a fresh bun, too! On messiness: The container was small enough that I could barely slide my hands in to grab the burger. This, combined with the somewhat slippery chimmichutney, meant that keeping the burger together was a difficult and losing battle. No worries - less chimmichutney would mean less flavor, and I have no issues eating anything (burgers included) with a fork. Simply, I'd hope Bhoomi Modern Indian Grill considers larger containers for these... otherwise, don't upset the balance! Finally, credit to the service for being kind, friendly, and giving me something hot and fresh after about five minutes! Thus, Bhoomi Burger quickly earned a spot on my favorites. The whole experience was all-around fantastic, and I can't wait to bring all my friends here.
