Klaud's is a favorite of mine, enough that we chose to have lunch here on my birthday! Their chicken salad is my absolute favorite, but they have tons of options. They have less tables in the winter than in the summer, but I'm guessing that has to do with staffing and flow of customers. The staff is friendly and it will continue to be one of our Door County staples!

Beautiful new building - had not been to the original Klaud's Kitchen. Figured to give it a try with a drop in casual breakfast. Just a brief line to order (counter service) but plenty of space to sit down on a Saturday morning. Bus your table and you have an a la carte breakfast option for under $10 (a little more with a drink). Water station is available and they are using reusable utensils along with plateware. Day old pastries were at the end of the case and the staffperson taking orders was kind enough to walk through what was bundled on the tray. Each was $2.50 and I got a raspberry croissant and a bear (almond) claw. Bear claw had more almond to it than the raspberry in the croissant. Rest of our party added potato pancakes and an avocado toast which were great .

Great coffee and desserts! We stopped in looking for a sweet treat, and boy did we find it! They have many options to choose from too!

    "The Caprese" on a 16" thin crust,Delicious!

We found out Klaud's does pizza now ! We ordered two 16" thin crust Pizzas for pick up.One was a one of their specialty pizzas The Caprese the other was a "Build Your Own" which had cheese, black olives and mushrooms. After a 15 minute or so drive home the pizzas were still nice and warm every thing looked fresh and tasted fresh! The crust was a thin crust that lived up to its name! PERFECTLY THIN with crispy edges, it had an enjoyable chew and bite to it. The taste of The Caprese pizza was absolutely refreshing!! The pizza sauce was perfect tasting fresh from the garden how it should be- not all over "doctered" type of sauce. The "Build Your Own" pizza was great tasting as well-plentifully topped with the right ratio. We are definitely ordering again and greatful for the new menu addition! The pizzas were both ready on time and the lady who took our order was very polite and professional!! We have been up here for 30 plus years enjoyed YOUR pizzas more the the big pizza joints that are in town. Thank you Klaud's for the outstanding service and food for first time customers, that will come again!!!

    Too many choices of deliciousness

What a surprise, stumbling into this new culinary gem of Door County while stopping for a mini farmer's market next door. Fantastic pastries! Great coffee! Cool indoor vibe & relaxing outdoor seating as well. My only issue was trying to decide which pastry to select. Being a Chicago native, I'm picky about pizza, but the pepperoni we had was really great. They also need a large sign on the building, the street one is easily missed.

I had been once before, but my in-laws were visiting from England and we just had to take them here. They agreed that it was the classic, small town, American market. We all loved our visit. It's quite big inside and very open/spacious to move around. Beyond their famous cherry pies, jams, and butters, you'll find their fresh produce, local cheeses (yumm), and a unique selection of artisan goods (I'm obsessed). Also if you're an apple lover, you'll have come to the right place. They were sampling their fresh picked options, and we of course left with a big bag to take home. Also, all things fall-esque like cider donuts, pumpkin pancake mix, and unique fudge. Oh anddd they have this great little outdoor section for kiddos, equip with a swing set, big sandbox, handful of rideable bikes/cars, and a cute little rope maze in the woods. My son loved exploring. With seasonal activities like cherry-picking, it's a perfect spot to savor the region's flavors and enjoy a classic Midwest farm experience!

And beyond that, they sell a lot of other merchandise, food and otherwise. Lots of salsa, spreads, relishes, jerky, and so on, but they don't have any recipes or food suggestions near them and I don't know how to use them. The peach, cherry, etc. salsas seemed interesting but they were too sweet (and not spicy enough) to eat with chips or something, but I'm not sure how I would want to use it otherwise and I don't want to have to do the work to figure out how. But near the entrance, they do have a little counter where various relishes and jams are available for tasting. I did buy some apple cider donuts from here, and they certainly looked more appetizing than most of the other markets we stopped at. The cider was disappointing--it looked more like juice than cider--so I skipped that. And once I had one of the donuts upon returning home, they were pretty good even a day or two later, and I"m not one who usually loves apple cider donuts. There's lots of parking here, so you'll probably have no issue there. If you have little ones, there's a small playground near the eastern end of the property. They're closed Sunday, so plan accordingly.
