    1/3 lb burger and fries

First timer today and it's great lil restaurant! But not as little as it looks from the outside. There's a HUGE side and small side. I got the third pound burger. It's HUGE and looks way bigger than third pound. They also have a half pound OMG! Hubby got country fried steak. The GOOD: burger size and taste, grilled bun, fresh fries, good sized cups so you don't have to ask for a refill after three sips. CFS was also huge, tender, nicely breaded and had some flavor. Oh and they have a senior menu, which is nice, cuz we couldn't eat all This! Lady that waited on us was super sweet. The BAD: forgot my cheese on burger, gravy was a bit watery, mashed potatoes were instant, green beans just so so, fries could use some seasoning. Would definitely go back and try other dishes.

Huge chip on plate. Throw away!

The chicken fried tenders were so meaty, flavorful and with a THICK crust. Lots of crunch! The fried chicken sandwich was good but I doubt it was a true breast--more like a slice of breast. Still would not hesitate to return. I took a star off b/c my plate had a big chip. It's a pet peeve of mine and asking for a lawsuit from a patron chocking on broken ceramic. Throw the dang thing away.

The menu is condensed and every option on the menu is great! I would recommend the burger to anyone!

The manager personally came over to ask about my allergy and to assure me they had gone as far as making a new breading mixture for my entree to avoid cross-contamination. Talk about going the extra mile!! Very impressed with the quality of service and our server Kevin did a fantastic job of taking care of us! Now - the food. We had the chips, salsa and queso to start. The queso is thick, creamy and has just the right touch of spiciness. So good! The salsa is finely chopped and very flavorful. 10/10 on all of the above! Everything fried was delicious!! The seasoning in the breading was good and the sides were a good quantity and also very good. But - the desserts...YUM!! We got the chocolate cake which was so fluffy and coated in chocolate that melted in our mouths. The key lime pie was equally high on the yum factor! Don't skip dessert here!! Can't wait to go back and try more menu items. I'm quite sure everything they make will be worth the trip! Thank you for an amazing experience!!

I ordered grilled salmon and my wife ordered fried catfish. Service was prompt and food was plentiful. My salmon had a cilantro cream sauce that was lightly seasoned and complemented my generous portion of salmon. It was accompanied by some nicely cooked rice and green beans and two hush puppies. My wife enjoyed her generous portion of fried catfish and coleslaw and ate a little of her fries and pinto beans. She said the fries and beans were fine but she was full from all of the catfish. Overall, it was a tasty meal but y'all better be hungry because you're gonna get plenty of eat here. Come check em out!

It felt elegant but still welcoming and comfortable. The food was amazing across the board. There was a small mix-up with one of the dishes, but with a large party those things happen, and the staff handled it well. They have a few dining options to choose from including the bar/lounge area, in-door dining and outdoor patio areas. We started in the bar/lounge area while waiting for a seat outdoors so we could enjoy the weather and live music. Our server was very nice and honest- even when he hadn't tried a dish he told us how others rated it. We shared the SEARED AHI TUNA appetizer and added an additional side of bread 8/10 (it honestly should come with more!) Each ordered the THAI GINGER COCONUT SALMON which I am still thinking about! 10/10 The portions were generous and I saved 1/2 to make room for dessert. I was glad to enjoy leftovers the next day. We finished with the DULCE DE LECHE CHURROS which were highly recommended by our server and did not disappoint in presentation nor taste. 10/10

There's plenty of nice local establishments, but some can be pricey and some are just more casual than you want. Scott Williams has perfected the restaurants of Tyler that are balanced between affordable and still quite nice. He got his toes in the water with FDs, before expanding into Javi's, Twelve, and now the fanciest of them all in III Palms. I thought of all those options, Twelve would be the most unique and tasty for my girlfriend and I. We went in an hour before they closed on a Sunday and were seated immediately. We weren't too hungry so we didn't expect to be there past their closing time, and we were ready to go. Our waiter was quick and attentive, bringing us water and helping us decide on drinks from the bar and our order. He also showed us their insane over-the-top whiskey menu. If you like whiskey, give Twelve a shot I guess. To order, I just got their 'Osaka Style' Pressed Roll while my girlfriend got a Sushi Bowl Salad. We got Sweet Potato Fries to share. As for drinks, I started with their Monkey See, Monkey Do, an impressive and firm beverage, while my girlfriend ordered their Destin Dream, a fun Pina Colada-like drink. It wasn't long before our food came out. The sushi was beautifully plated with some wasabi and pickled ginger on the side. I destroyed all the rolls. They were all very fresh and very high quality, which was remarkable for their $13.50 price tag. My girlfriend's sushi bowl looked insane. She ate most of it, but I filled the gaps and devoured the rest of it. The sweet potato fries were crispy and heavenly like all sweet potato fries usually are. I felt adventurous and I got a second drink of their Rose Garden, which was simple but flavorful. Compared to FDs, the menu might be a little more sea-inspired and more adventurous, but I think it leads to better, more unique food, especially with offerings like Oyster Rockefeller and a sushi bar. I also know Twelve does a great brunch as well, so keep that on your radar. Ultimately, as the bill came, the price was very manageable even with the alcohol. It's nice that you don't fully have to break the bank to have a nice meal in Tyler thanks to places like Twelve. I rate it a 12/10. Get it? hahahaha... RIYL: A slightly adventurous, but affordable night out.

One of those meals where you leave thinking, "Well......that happened." So it quietly fell off my rotation. Fast forward to last night, and I'm glad I gave it another shot. From the moment we sat down, the experience felt completely different. The service alone set the tone. Our waitress, Lauren, was on it the entire night. Friendly, attentive, and somehow perfectly timed without hovering. Drinks stayed filled, food came out smooth, and she made the whole table feel taken care of. To top it off, a manager named Edgar stopped by to check on us. Not a quick drive by "everything good?" but a genuine, professional check in. You could tell he actually cared about how things were going. That kind of leadership usually trickles down, and it definitely showed. Now let's talk about the food. I ordered the ribeye, and it was absolutely dialed in. Perfectly cooked, seasoned just right, and packed with flavor. The kind of steak that makes you pause mid bite and nod at the table like you just made a great life decision. Everyone else at the table felt the same about their meals. No complaints, no sending anything back, just a lot of quiet chewing and approval noises. Between the phenomenal service and food that actually delivered, this felt like a completely different restaurant from the one I remembered years ago. Safe to say Saltgrass is officially back in my good graces. I came in cautiously optimistic and left planning my next visit.

I was informed there was "plenty of chicken". I let Meghan know chicken sandwiches would work and I needed a price. This is definitely a personal attack and it's very disgusting to say the least.
