Ah, Kitson....... Love them or hate them, but no matter what, they've always been around for decades now. High end, and trendy, yes!!! This well organized store has everything and anything you would want and not need for a perfect gift for someone or yourself. Very gimmick worthy! Sweats, Tees, Decor, Magnets, Mugs, Books, etc. Unusual and eclectic items, as well. Want to find a unique souvenir??? Kitson is the place!! The customer service is spotty, and there's a huge sign hanging at the store front, just as you walk in, you can't miss it, that says NO VIDEO or PHOTOS allowed in store. I think, this place is very pricey. Endless selection of items, it goes on and on!!! When I shopped here last week, the customer service was good, but it could be better. They weren't the friendliest, but they did answer my questions and put me in the right direction, when finding certain items. If you pay attention, you just might spot a celebrity in there. It's like a gift shop with apparel, mugs, books, postcards, dog toys, pretty much knick knacks of things you probably don't need, but they have cute or funny sayings, so you kinda want to buy it. Given the location, in the heart of Beverly Hills, it is a bit on the higher price margin. A fun store to enter and browse, a cool spot to get a gift. Staff seemed nice and helpful. read more

Honestly, the prices did not bother me even though they're very expensive. What bothered me the most is them breathing on my neck while I'm shopping. Also, I understand there's a sign that says no pictures or videos however that goes to tell me that they are reselling these for more than what they are currently going for. We were racing on Mulholland Drive, to see stars' houses. FIRST UP: Jennifer Lopez. After finding what we thought was her house and being followed by, who we thought was Jennifer Lopez herself, in her black Rolls Royce SUV, we decided to head to RODEO DRIVE. We lucked out and found a parking spot right in front of KITSON, a store that was actually always on my list of places to visit. I found some beautiful picture frames. Kitson is a high-end, gimmicky shop. They sell women's, men's, and children's clothing as well as lots of unique and noteworthy items. Think cashmere sweatshirts with smirky sayings and conversation piece coffee table books as well as candles, jewelry, and cards etc. The shop is a lot bigger inside than it looks from the outside. Everything feels hand picked. Lots of different items and high quality brands to choose from. Definitely somewhere to visit if you are looking for something fun for yourself to buy or a special gift for that someone who has everything! I did mostly browse on my own. However, the sales associate who was working the day I came in was very friendly. The original Kitson store is not too far away on Robertson Blvd in Los Angeles just outside of Beverly Hills. It opened in 2000 and was frequented by many celebrities. It's still there and this location has very similar items. Parking lot within walking distance and street parking available as well. And for those who want to know, it is walkable to Rodeo Drive. read more

I walked this morning around 10 am to the store I live in bh, I was looking for a cute gift for tonight to a diner As I was at the cashier side and looking at everything, A very aggressive man , quite big, ask me something, so I kindly responded to him either my hand , sorry I have ear pods listening to my music, And at this very second he started to yell at me so bad I got scared and walked always He pushed me very badly and hit my phone screaming get out of my store I was so scared and shaken I went to the police department next Unfortunately after waiting one hour and a half to make a repot , I left. The man has many avocado stains on his shirt, if that man was working in the store Be aware that he is very unfit and extremely aggressive towards costumers I can never go back to that store I hope the owner reads my message read more

Obsessed with this shop off of Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills! It's great for tourists to get something LA or Beverly Hills without it being cheap & lame like things on Hollywood Blvd. Better quality items though they might be a bit more pricey. It's like Urban Outfitters done classy LA style. Smaller than other Kitson's, it still gets the job done. My friend and I browsed, found some items to snag, and found some things we want to come back with. Staff asked if we needed help so no issues there. I love Kitson and will surely be back! read more

You are not allowed to take photos in the store, so I lower my rating because it is a tad silly. Not the end of the world, but still, an issue for Yelpers. Otherwise, your usual silly fun Kitson! They don't have things that you need, but things... that you might get for fun or to gift because they make more original presents! Fun to browse, they have clothes, books, decor, etc. Various holidays merchandise. If you visit LA, this Beverly Hills location could be a good souvenir shopping place if you want something a tad different. read more

Located a block away from Rodeo drive. Several parking lots have free parking up to 2 hours. This location is smaller than their other location, but still super fun to browse none the less. I have zero idea why lacking number of stars for this shop! It's the best! You can find anything from novelty shirts, gifts, and everything fun!! I feel compelled to write a positive review because of Kristen! I've never met a more professional, friendly, and extremely beyond helpful salesperson in my whole life! I'm really sad that she's leaving for Kitson malibu, but I understand that she is in demand! And I will have to shop there! But I also love the vast array of great things for sale in the store on Beverly! I just bought so many gifts for Mother's Day all from there and they were hits, thanks to Kristen and the store's inventory. Also, Kristen knows every single thing about the Free City brand. Kitson on 321 N Beverly Drive in Beverly Hills is the new shop on the block. Previously occupied 421 N Beverly Dr., which was temporary. The new location will be occupied, as a 2 year lease was signed. Owner Fraser Ross once ran a fleet of more than 15 Kitson stores, which spanned from the original flagship on Los Angeles' Robertson Boulevard to Las Vegas. The fleet was shuttered more than five years ago, and Ross reopened the Kitson flagship in 2016. Since then, he's reopened a handful of stores on Robertson. It looks like Kitson is ready to move beyond its neighborhood. On July 3, Ross opened what he described as a "mini-Kitson," at 321 N. Beverly Dr. in Beverly Hills, Calif. The shop has a 1,600-square-foot selling space, much smaller than the 5,000-square-foot Kitson flagship at 115 S. Robertson Dr. Ross said that the new location would offer many of the gifts, and styles for women, men and children that have been popular a few minutes drive away on Robertson. "It's the best of the best," he said of the new shop. While walking my furbabe Fendi, she dragged me inside this shop. Her freckles pink nose was the heat seeking missile searching for a new squeaky toy. Sadly, no squeaky toys, but doggy water bowls. No doggy clothes, harness, no bling collars :( The nice guy staffer was nice and helpful and said he will suggests these things for the store buyer. The shop was clean organized and had fun things that caught my eye. This shop full of 'kitschy' things is a great addition to 90210 neighborhood, Kitson is fun visit. read more

I walked into Kitson while waiting got a friend and walked out with my new favorite sweatshirt a half hour later. The staff , Sherry, Laura , and Amanda , my dog Toddy and I hit it off so nicely; that I honestly consider them friends at this point and look forward to stopping by again next week. Sir, are you ok? The old man who is documented in other reviews here is not doing well. He clearly has some neurological issues that causes him to act out in paranoia and extreme anger. My friend and I were looking at merchandise and a sales lady who didn't even greet us was breathing down our necks. My friend got fed up of her staring at us and tossed the sweatshirt back on the pile and we started to leave. Out of nowhere this old guy pops up and says, WHATS THE PROBLEM?! We both just laughed uncomfortably and started to leave and he starts screaming DON'T THROW MY MERCHANDISE. We walked off down a block and a half into another store and turn around to find he had followed us into this other store and was taking pictures and screaming YOU'RE BANNED FROM KITSON. We were shaken up but my friend quickly grabbed video and photo footage of him scurrying off. Shockingly no one in the new store was surprised by his behavior. I've gone through their Instagram page since and scoured through reviews and it seems we're not the only people to receive this treatment. He's lucky we didn't call the cops on him for stalking and harassment. This is not how a business owner should behave and I truly mean it when I say I hope his loved ones get him some help soon. He is a danger to those around him and his anger issues are alarming. read more

Then an old man chased us out of the store saying my son was entitled. This is plain old sad. I am local and was excited to buy my mother in law a gift here, I just ordered it off Amazon instead. We recently were invited to a bar mitzvah in Beverly Hills and took our grandchildren. Unfortunately their parents had dressed them too casually for the event and we had to come up with a quick solution on the fly. A quick search took us to Kitson and we hurriedly asked for the assistance of the staff here who really went above and beyond to make sure our littles were handsomely kitted out (see what I did there) for our evening of fun and celebration. I went here admiring some of the items and was told multiple times not to take photos even though I was not taking any photos and then on my way out the owner or manager told me not to give him attitude. I am 15 years old being told by an old man not to give him attitude when I was not. He was extremely rude to my friends mother saying we were entitled and chased us out of the store. I went to buy a few gifts for some clients and my daughter found a tshirt, that was labeled for $29. We paid separately, and when she put her card in, the store clerk, William Harris, stated the price for the shirt was $94. We quickly took the card out and realized the price was mislabeled. It was literally 5 seconds but the transaction went through too quickly. I asked if we could cancel the transaction, but William proceeded to lecture my 10-year-old daughter about being more careful with checking the prices. Then he started asking her whether she even checked the size before she picked up the T-shirt. She said she didn't mind it oversized and he said "yeah right, just admit you didn't check". For some reason I redirected my attention towards her and lectured her about being more careful as well. When we got home, she felt really bad about the whole situation and the fact that she spent two months of her allowance on a T-shirt. I decided to call the store to see if there's any way they could accept the return, and the manager Laura told me it was store policy to allow returns within the same day. I excitedly went back to the store to return the T-shirt, however William was leaving for his lunch break and told me he could not take my return and I would have to wait until he came back. He locked the door and left me to wait. When he got back from lunch, he seemed very annoyed that I had waited for him, I didn't speak to him but he called me bougie and privileged for even letting my daughter shop here. Lecturing my child, and then passing his judgment on me was completely unnecessary. It was clear that William was having a really bad day, I'm curious if anyone else had similar experiences here. It was surreal, especially since I walked in to the store nervous and apologetic for the inconvenience that my daughter had caused. I sincerely hope William Harris finds a different job not in retail, not near with children, nor in a place of authority. read more

She was so friendly, knowledgeable and had the best ideas. She picked out great gifts for everyone and then helped me with shopping for me! Jordan styled me with the best sweats (loving my AV and free city always) tees and fun accessories. Jordan was great and truly the only reason to shop there. Go and ask for her. The staff that work at this location are rude. On one occasion, a younger female store clerk rolled her eyes at me as I was leaving because my baby started crying. She thought I wasn't looking and tried to play it off when she saw that I saw her. On another occasion, a middle aged female store clerk was just abrasive and seemed annoyed when I came in the store. Very bizarre. Every other store in this area has really really nice employees. Not sure what's wrong with this one, but they're pretty rude. read more

Had a bit of a Julia Roberts moment here today. Went in to check out the store with my family including my 1 year old daughter. We looked at the clothes and my daughter tried on a pair of sunglasses. The clerk came by to stand right NEXT to us. He wasn't there to help, chat us up...nope...just watch us which was pretty uncomfortable. He then proceeded to ask us what we did with the sunglasses. Umm, we put them where we found them and I pointed that out. He was so focused on us that he missed that my mother in law was standing in front of the cash register for quite sometime ready to make her purchase. We had to ask him if HE was ready ring us up. Really?! I would have walked out but I didn't want to spoil her fun in buying her grand baby a new stuffed animal. He was clearly thinking we had stolen the freakin sunglasses. Not the case bro. But recently, I went to the Kitson in Beverly Hills twice - the small shop near Rodeo. But the guy there who is over 6ft tall was SOOOO rude, SOOOO MEAN!!!! soooo unhelpful and on top of that kept purposefully hovering over me every where I walked, it was weird!!! I can understand POLITELY keeping a eye on a shopper especially if the store was busy. I was the only person in there. I reluctantly bought a few items but actually put most of them back ONLY because he was SUCH a horrible person. I then was there again recently - SAME GUY - SAME BIZARRE SCARY TACTICS MADE ME SO UNNCOMFORTABLE.
