There's parking in front but also a very large lot behind the restaurant). We were immediately seated and given menus to browse while we waited for our server. The menu, while smaller, still has many fun and interesting options so we had no problem deciding on our meals (& drinks). The Blackberry Smash and the Autumn Cow-Man were the cocktails we ordered and the Thai Chili Brussels, Cheesesteak Eggrolls were the apps and the Buffalo Wings and Grilled Chicken Sandwich were the entrees. ALL THE FOOD (& drinks) were AMAZING!!!! Flavors were popping! Portions were generous! The food truly lived up to all the hype! The only reason the review isn't 5 stars is because our server was seriously on delay ... it had nothing to do with being busy because we had clear sight of him the entire time ... he was just on "island time" in NJ lol! We didn't make a big deal out of it because we were in no rush and were really enjoying ourselves but if he would've been on his Ps and Qs this would've been a 5 star review. The good news is we will be back so, there's another chance (or chances) to make it 5 stars!

The service is consistently accommodating, with a team of incredibly friendly, witty, and funny staff. The atmosphere is relaxed yet professional, creating a perfect blend of comfort and sophistication. The main floor is designed as a pub, featuring cozy seating for four to the end of the building. But don't be fooled by the limited seating; they can easily accommodate a larger crowd. Upstairs, there are additional seats available for service, ensuring that everyone can enjoy their meal. If you have younger ones in diapers I do recommend changing prior to coming in, there are two restrooms but not large enough to accommodate a changing station, so plan ahead! Honestly, this is probably the only thing that I absolutely loved out of all the mails that we picked out.. The pasta literally lacks sauce as you can see it's more of meat and red sauce, but it didn't even cover all the pasta when you mixed it in. Which also like seasoning flavors. We ordered the pizza for our kids. Our kids were a little disappointed by it as they had more onions than they had of actual meat. A lot of of the onions was covered by the cheese.. The burger I feel like it lacks a description as I didn't know it came with two onion rings and by the time we got home, which is not even five minutes away, the cheese had already hardened. I decided on getting sweet potato fries. They were extremely soggy. They weren't fully cooked. The calamari rings were good however, the sauce is the exact same pasta sauce used for the spaghetti, which was a little bit disappointing. I was recommended this place as I was visiting the area and I love enjoying and trying new places however I try to keep it as honest as possible. There is room for improvement the presentation as well. The food looks aesthetically pleasing however, the lack of flavors is very offputting.. This was a pick up so the service was pretty quick.

Hard to tell exactly when it opened, as their website offers scant information, but they first started posting on Facebook in 2011 if that is anything to go by. They don't have a large footprint in the NJ brewing scene as they don't distribute to any liquor stores or bars/restaurants (they don't even offer beers in cans to go), and they don't do any big events other than the typical karaoke or trivia nights. What they do offer is a nice place to hang out in an old historic building right on the Main Street in the downtown area, and a solid lineup of beers. One thing that makes them stand out is a great selection of beers on nitro. From my experience with NJ breweries, you're lucky to find a single beer on nitro. At Village Idiot there are seven of them, most of them dessert stouts like a cookie butter white stout and a salted caramel milk stout. All that we tried were delicious and not crazy high in ABV like other dessert stouts. Flights are only $10 which is pretty cheap compared to other NJ breweries. Of note is that as of November 2025 they no longer allow outside drinks including water bottles like Nalgenes and Stanley Cups. Too many idiots sneaking in alcohol, according to their social media. Overall it has a bit more of a dive bar vibe only frequented by locals rather than a traditional NJ brewery, but the beer is definitely good enough, and the surrounding Main Street charming and quaint enough that I would definitely return.

Right away, when walking in, we were greeted with delicious looking dessert options and welcoming faces. We were seated nicely next to the decorated window, and our waiter was quick with our orders. My crab and scallop penne pasta with Alfredo sauce was delicious, with seasoned bread crumbs on top. The Alfredo sauce sadly did overpower the dish, and there just was not enough crab to come through. Some bread on the side would have been a treat to soak up all the sauce and bits of crab. The eggplant parmigiana had many layers of tasty eggplant and their flavorful sauce. I am glad we ordered the fries on the side, because they came seasoned and went perfectly with both meals. We decided to take our desserts home with us, and the limoncello was our standout favorite. There were many other options on their dessert menu that we were debating between, and we will have to stop by for more later for sure. Between the welcoming staff, relaxing live music, and well prepared plates, Robin's Nest Restaurant delivers a charming dining experience that stands out.

Everything was chopped evenly and broiled to perfection. I did get a decent amount of clam. The description says bacon but I'm glad it wasn't big pieces of crispy bacon. It almost seemed like pancetta. I wish I took a picture. They are a little greasy so I'm not sure why they serve them with a side of butter. I think that's a waste. I ordered the Reuben for my entree and upgraded from chips to potato salad. This was an amazing choice. One of the best Reubens I've had in awhile. I was nervous at first seeing the thick bread but it all came together. It wasn't greasy at all. The corned beef was crispy which made it easier to bite. Who hates trying to bite through tough corned beef???? The amount of sauerkraut was perfect. One half of my sandwich had the perfect amount of dressing. The other half was dry. I usually ask for a side of dressing but didn't this time. I am so glad I upgraded to potato salad. It's only $1 extra and I highly recommend. This reminded me of my family recipe. This sandwich comes with chips and I'm not sure what that means. I'm not a huge potato chip person.

Actually in all my years of Yelp. I do not think I've called any restaurant "phenomenal" till now. It's a packed house any time of the day. You can call and make reservations but not sure that'll help. This is a revolving door of customers. And seeing that I never felt like I was being rushed out. I had the BLT sandwich with egg. And to say I get a blt at many breakfast spots I go to is an understatement. But this BLT was.. and again I'll use the word phenomenal. I mean the eggs weren't cooked hard. The bacon was not small abs far from the thin bacon on many sandwiches. It all went so well perfectly together. Never tasted anything like it. Put together on multi grain toast, that have it even more flavor. The fresh fruit I got with it was a great addition to the perfect sandwich. My son recommended I try the purple haze drink which was delicious. Lemonade with lavender flavoring and cane sugar and mint. Great things working together to refresh my taste buds. My waitress was again ill used the word phenomenal. She made every thing perfect with her suggestions and her way of giving us space while being attentive. And her tip refected her amazing service. I'm sure she was happy with it. This is a must go to place. They have other locations as well. I will get to another but I know the food nor service may not be the same. But I'll definitely try the location near me and hope it's nearly as good.

Girly brunch time!…read more We came for a weekend brunch at 10 AM and didn't have to wait too long for a table. Total of four of us. The good: That Million Dollar Bacon is sooooo good. A little spicy, a little sweet. The Not So Great: Three out of our four meals came out within minutes of each other. The last dish arrived much much later, which was a bit awkward. Really liked my chorizo omelet, but it was a little on the skimpy side, not that much meat. The breakfast potatoes were waaaaay too salty for me.
