Had a great Saturday at kitchen747. Food was fantastic, and our server Angelina T was a delight! She anticipated our needs, had great drink recommendations and always had a smile. We got the Brussel sprouts & pretzel for appetizers and they were super tasty and fresh. Shared the garlicky steak sandwich and it was so tender and delicious. We all loved the kitchen refresher drink! We got to sit by the fire pits which was nice and the staff was even able to adjust the heat/flow of the fire. He's worked at the restaurant since it opened and was extremely professional and personable as we took our daughter, son-in-law and grandson to dinner. We read many mixed reviews about this place and when we arrived were were the second of three parties to wait for someone to come to the front desk. The wait space is super tiny and finally one waiter said to another "whose the host tonight?" I believe someone was a no show. We finally got seated and Jack came over to introduce himself and apologize for the wait; from then on it was all uphill. Great service and, good food (recommend the meatballs & polenta). It is always fun to check out a new restaurant and Kitchen747 definitely has captured the attention of locals. We arrived early for our 7 pm reservation and found a large parking lot jammed with cars. The restaurant looked to be one of the few spots open . Upon entering we found the inside floor full of happy diners. The large outside dining area was also bustling and the sounds of families enjoying a night out. We noticed several youngsters playing cornhole in a corner of the enclosed outdoor area. We had made our reservation for the rooftop not knowing that it was a separate area. The rooftop is only open after 7pm and is a smaller area that offers a view of the surrounding country. It is quieter then the other areas below. Our server was well trained and offered suggestions on the menu. Dinner (Salmon & a Ribeye) was tasty and well presented, the wine menu offers different size pours and the wine list features many excellent choices. During dinner the manager stopped by and checked on us and we watched her make the rounds checking on other diners. Our overall impression of this new addition to the dining scene is that this place is creative, well managed and going to be a wonderful option for locals. Drinks are great need to rotate taps more often. Service is been steadily declining though. This place is located in West Roseville were their is not many options so if you consider that you got try it once. The customer service was five star . The lay out of the restaurant is open good for big groups and entertainment. The Kitchen sucks this our second time coming. We came during their soft open or when they just open we will not comment on that experience but will say the management was very professional and took ownership. Then now the second time. I am now addressing the back of house. They need to step their game up . Their should be a lot people in this kitchen being told to pack their knifes and go . I don't know their set but it was mention that the head chef yelled at the guys for messing up my ribeye . I order my Ribeye medium rare before they sat the plate down everybody at the table said that's well done. Nobody's checking the food before it comes out ? I paid $32 for ribeye that look like a $7 dollar ribeye something you see at Denny's . Don't know where their buying their meat from . But they did remake it and took off the bill. Thank you !, but like I said at the beginning their customer service since day one has been above and beyond awesome. This place has so much potential but the back of house is killing them. Pros: Restaurant and bar are clean and service is good up until about an hour before close. Food is decent. Drink selection including beer and wine is phenomenal. Beer prices are the same or less than other restaurants. Service is good ordering from the bar. Cons: Parking is lousy when shopping center is busy. Bar is pricey cocktails will be $14+. I ordered an off menu cocktail it was $18. I did have to ask for napkins after my garlic fries were brought out. Service will waver slightly an hour before closing employees will be focused on wrapping up the bar. A lot of Bay Area transplants will frequent this place. Could be good or bad depending on your politics. Overall its a nice restaurant and worth a revisit. I think they can get away with charging higher prices for now as they are the only bar in West Roseville. If there is more competition in the area I hope they will adjust their beverage prices accordingly. read more

TL;DR: the atmosphere is super cool. One of the only places in Roseville with a rooftop area for chill vibes. The food is average at best. Was throughly unimpressed. Here's the thing, new restaurants starting during COVID can have a difficult time. If you come to Roseville though it's almost like COVID has untouched the city. New restaurants popping up every few months, and we truly hope for the best. Kitchen747 did not impress. I ordered their ribeye salad and it was not that at all. It was a salad of ribeye with a "salad" undressed with chunks of Parmesan on it. If you're coming here for quality, this isn't your place. If you're coming here for some drinks near the house and snacks at a bar while you watch the game, I think you've found your place. My family ordered burgers, and as a city that had some pretty solid burger places around I was disappointed in their definition of a burger- more like a slider. These are supposed to be meals for grown adults, and they appeared to be more like kids meals. One thing that kitchen 747 has done VERY well: they have a great atmosphere. It's clear that this is a new place in Roseville and with a rooftop lounge it's only going to be one of the most popular places that west Roseville has to offer at this point. The fries as you will note from the picture literally looked like McDonalds fries, only not as hot and tasty. Their photographer for the website gets 5 stars for the bait and switch. However, we were very underwhelmed with the food and prices. My $22 burger was almost identical to my daughter's $11 kids burger - same patty and same portion of sweet potato fries (overcooked). The fried pickles were tasty but came out cold. Cocktail and beer/wine list is solid. Chicken pesto pasta was a kids portion and not at all what you would expect from a $20+ plate of pasta. The steak sandwich was bland and the fries stole the show, which isn't a good thing necessarily. Overall, from the plating, to the serving sizes, to the quality of food - not at all on par with other $20 burger joints in town (Chef's Kitchen, Land Ocean, Eureka, etc.). The atmosphere of this place saves the food quality and pricing. Great firepit vibe outside with cornhole and family friendly amenities. Large inside bar with all the good stuff. I wanted to love this place because it's so convenient for west rosevillians but it's so overpriced. The food is good, but not great... not for the price. Now keep in mind they just opened so my stars reflect as a whole. Staff seems very unsure and unorganized, this is probably due to them only being open for a few days. So give them a little slack. The signature cocktails looked good as they were being served, my father and I ordered our standard kettle one martinis which were very small, around 1.5 - 2 oz. Wouldn't mention the size but after seeing their signatures cocktails, I felt a little jipped. This also goes to them being new since our bar tender visited our table 2x for clarification on "kettle one shaken well with olives, no vermouth" I ordered the ribeye, since hey they are new let's see what they got. The server immediately moved on to my son, which gave me a little alarm since she didn't ask how I wanted my steak cooked. After looking at the menu I stopped her to interject I wanted my steak medium rare. Since it is a $32 ribeye, it should be cooked perfectly. What I got was a $10 sizzler steak. It was less than 1/4" thick, well done and only could taste the char. The sides were good but I refuse to pay $32 for something I could get at sizzler. My father said the salmon was amazing, my mother liked the Elvis burger (which came cooked perfectly) my youngest got the butter noodles on the kid menu and my 9 year old got the meatball sandwich, which had hardly any marinara on it. I only point out how dry the sandwich was because the menu totes their home made marinara. Why brag on the menu if you barely put any on?? The ambiance was very very loud, the waitress couldn't hear us. And it was very cold inside due to the huge open window behind the bar and everyone opening the door to go to the outside dining. So bring a sweater. It's like a smaller yard house and BJs. I do suggest eating here, just stick to the pizza and burgers though. Or give them a few weeks to get their systems in place and their staff trained. read more

Beautiful restaurant. It has big windows that open to outdoor seating from the bar. Spacious and clean. The only downside to the ambiance was the seating closest to the kitchen was directly where the sun hit; making it almost impossible to see anything. You'll notice the glare on the picture of the pizza, but nothing some blinds can't fix. Ah, and service was slooooowwww. It took at least 20 minutes for anyone to come over to our table to take a drink order. I'm hoping these issues are due to the restaurant being new. The fooooood: yum! The Garlicky Steak Sandwich is essentially a French Dip and it was deeeeelicious! Seasoned just right, tender meat, soft bread but not too soft that it fell apart when dipped in au jus. Tasty!!! The 747 Burger is pretty good, not as good as the steak sandwich, but definitely a good choice. Simple, but the ingredients work well together to bring you a solid burger. The fries, however, were a salt bomb. By the time you reach the end of the plate your mouth needs a pitcher of water to rehydrate itself. Last, but not least, the Junction Meat Eaters pizza....It came out with the other food which was nice (doesn't happen at all restaurants). It's big enough to share with one other person if you aren't up for eating it all yourself. If you like various farm animals on your pizza then this is a good choice, but I think I'll give a different one a shot next time I stop in. No flavor and the excess cheese didn't help. I asked for no au jus because I don't like wet buns. Looked like the bun was grilled in oil and was wet. Our waitress was not friendly until the bill was presented. When she asked how we liked our meal, I emphasized it was only okay. A good caring waitress would have asked questions. It was my first time there so I didn't want to follow my typical budgeting but this is well over my spend for lunch. Once you add tax, tip, soda, etc you're into ~$35 for a single person for lunch feels like a special occasion type of place but they are in a local neighborhood type of atmosphere. Worst cobb salad I have ever had. Undercooked chicken to the point I hope I don't get salmonella. Watery tasteless dressing, and mostly carrots. My husband's chicken sandwich was basic, dry and inedible. When the waitress saw we hardly ate anything, she didn't offer to bring anything else out, just asked if we wanted a to go bag. Garbage street mall atmosphere and rude servers. How do you ruin a margarita? Again; we had the worst drinks we've ever had. People need to stop putting in fake reviews for their friends. There is no way any of these reviews aren't anything but fabricated. We drove 40 minutes basing our choice on reviews and couldn't believe what we saw. I think it is genius to have a little town center in the middle of the neighborhood. It's a great location where you can get dinner, play a couple games they have outside or take the kiddos to the large park that is right next to this place. Had a wonderful dinner experience here last night. Everything - the food, service, and ambience were all wonderful. The restaurant has a great fun and lively vibe. We chose to sit outside. The outdoor section is very large, they have two fire pits, and a corn hole area too with plenty of heat lamps to keep you warm. We ordered several food and drinks items and were pleased with them all. For apps we shared the corn ribs and giant pretzel. The corn was delicious but the small quarters were a little awkward to eat. Would have been great to have some sort of siracha crema to accompany it. The giant pretzel was what you would expect, but it was perfectly baked. Very soft inside with a nice salty outside. It came with a tasty cheese sauce which we both enjoyed and Dijon mustard that was alright. For our entrees we go the steak sandwich with sweet potato fries and the chilton combo pizza. Again, both really good. The sandwich tasted like a Philly cheesesteak without the peppers, it was very tasty dipped in the au jus. The sweet potato fries were crisscut and really good with ranch dipping sauce. I didn't try the pizza because I was already full just after the corn and pretzel but it looked great and my husband really enjoyed it. We got the giant cookie for dessert, it was very large and good for sharing. We also tried several cocktails. My favorite was the west park punch. I was really surprised by how good it was, not because I didn't think it would be but just because it was sooo good! It was rum and pineapple, sweet and tasted just like a smoothie. The lemon drop was really refreshing and beautifully served with an ice sphere and flower. The espresso martini tasted like melted coffee ice cream and booze. It was good, but my least favorite out of the three. My husband had the brown sugar brûlée old fashioned and a regular old fashioned and preferred the regular. I'm not as much of a fan of bourbon so I preferred the brown sugar brûlée version as it didn't have as much of a bite to it. Our waitress (didn't catch her name), along with the bussers, and food/drink runners were all very friendly. Service was prompt without ever feeling rushed. My only critique would be the payment system. Instead of bringing you a check they hand you a portable device where you enter your card and pay your bill. I know several restaurants use this, but it's so awkward to pay your bill and tip with the waitress just standing there waiting for you. Also, how sanitary could it be passing the same machine you use to enter your orders to multiple tables throughout the night? That's just my two cents though. Welcome to West Roseville, Kitchen747!! Amazing upscale restaurant. The outdoor patio with fire pits, the open window concept behind the bar... the polenta. The polenta is the creamiest I've had to date and my only objection is that they don't sell it as an optional side or available by the gallon . The garlic sandwich is tender, juicy and made perfectly as well as the cauliflower appetizer and yummy fried pickles. Each cocktail is so beautifully presented and definitely doesn't skimp on the alcohol. You get what you pay for here.. amazing service, friendly staff and great atmosphere! We popped in during the afternoon to get a couple pizzas to go. Two large pizzas, which were mediocre, $60. Wife and I decided to order some garlic fries and a couple cocktails each, while we waited. Garlic fries and four cocktails, $100. The bar area was busy but they got us a table nearby. The bartender that helped us was very polite and had great energy. Garlic fries and cocktails were delicious. It's expensive but the experience was enjoyable. We will continue to support the local businesses. read more
