Continuation of Priscilla's review since yelp limits characters: We requested multiple times to speak to someone else in order to escalate these issues. However, the project manager kept disregarding our requests. When we finally were able to speak to the pm's supervisor, the supervisor wasn't even aware of our situation. After bringing him up to speed, the supervisor agreed that the work wasn't up to standard. We kept insisting they bring in someone with the workmanship to fix the shower tile and grout issues. They finally agreed and scheduled the new contractor for the following week. The evening before he was to arrive, we get a message that he couldn't make it, and the work was again delayed another week. The new contractor fixed most of the issues but wasn't able to salvage the shower floor tile. We requested a credit for the shoddy work, and they initially refused saying it was a matter of preference and not a workmanship issue. After another few weeks of back and forth, they finally agreed to credit us a small amount. We're still waiting for that check in the mail, which I'm sure we'll have to follow up on after we return home from vacation. The full timeline of the project was 12 weeks. They knew we lived in a one bedroom one bath. We were left without a toilet for about a week and a half, and without a functioning shower for 10 weeks. They made no effort to make up for the inconvenience or even try to prioritize any of the issues we kept bringing up. read more

Wish we hadn't gone on recommendations. To summarize key issues: horrible project management, poor handling of client relationships, internal disfunction and chaos was made apparent, unprofessional and dishonest as they lied to us about everyone being an employee. We reached out to Kitchen Experts back in Nov'25 for a quote on a full, small bathroom remodel to transition from tub to walk-in shower. At that time the design rep estimated a project timeline of 3 weeks. Once the project was underway at the end of Feb'26, the project manager gave us a timeline of 3-6 weeks, stating that they didn't expect it to take that long; the extra weeks were added as cushion for worst case scenarios. The first two weeks went fine. The demo happened pretty quickly, and the project manager would send daily updates on the project schedule. However, it all went downhill once the shower and floor tile installation began. Since we live in a one bedroom one bath condo, we asked multiple times how long they expected the toilet to be inoperable. They told us about about a day or so in order to install the tile. Once the contractor started laying out the tile, it turned out the company hadn't ordered enough tile for the shower and the stone for the shower accent wall arrived broken. The contractor decided that instead of asking the company to order more stone, he tried to salvage as much as possible and installed a few broken pieces on the shower wall. He also couldn't continue the work to completion until more tile arrived, which delayed the project for a week at that point. Between that time, no one came over to install the new toilet, so we were left without a toilet for about a week and a half. We kept following up with the project manager to send someone to install the new toilet, but they just wouldn't send anyone. Once installed, they didn't caulk the toilet to the floor, so we had to continually follow up on that. The project manager scheduled the vanity installation prior to any work being done on the walls, so there are areas of the walls that weren't treated due to oversight (under the floating vanity) or just being unreachable (spaces between the wall and vanity). They mistakenly scheduled both the wall/paint contractor and tile contractor on the same day. Once they both arrived to our place on the same day and figured amongst themselves how they were going to work in a small enclosure, turns out they reordered the wrong tile. They ensured us they were going to order the correct tile and get it rushed over. Shipment did not arrive until a week and a half later. We would follow up everyday and they would give us the excuse that they couldn't reach their vendor. The excuses weren't convincing and we're sure they waited until their next shipment to include the tile. Once we finally received the correct tile, the contractor couldn't come back for another two weeks or so due to whatever reason they were giving us (sick/unavailable/etc.) Now for the custom vanity set. We ordered the push to open cabinet. It arrived with the incorrect tracks that would require handle installations. When we called it out, the new project manager tried to persuade us to keep as is since other clients would complain about how the cabinet would open too easily with the slightest pressure. We requested they deliver what was ordered. When it came time to schedule the stone installation on top of the vanity, they didn't have to correct stone in stock. This delayed the project another week. Once installed, the pressure that was placed in the cabinet frame caused it to cave in down on the cabinet door. They ensured us multiple times that this would be fixed. They sent someone over to fix it. Once he arrived , ha had no clue what the issue was and said he couldn't do anything until the new tracks were installed. After all that, it ended up that they couldn't fix it unless the stone and sink were removed. Back to the shower- prior to the contractor completing the tile work, we pointed out multiple times quite a few issues on the work that had already been done. Silicone caulk was left appearing as streaks of tar along the wall, the shower floor grout was very messy and looked amateurish. Gaps were appearing on the shower tile grout, making it apparent that it was applied incorrectly. Again, they ensured us that this would all be fixed once the contractor arrived to complete the tile work. Contractor came and left and the issues weren't fixed. We followed up again on the issues. The project manager let us know that we should have been supervising the contractors to ensure they do the work correctly, which was completely inappropriate. We requested they send a new contract with the workmanship to deliver in the work promised. They refused and brought back the same guy to fix the issues. Again, issues weren't addressed correctly. We requested multiple times to speak to someone else in order to escalate these issues. read more

Kitchen Experts just completed a partial remodel of my condo kitchen. I had the original tile and grout countertops and limited backsplash which was replaced with a quartz material. Cabinets will be refaced/repainted later. The range was replaced as part of the project. Kitchen Experts coordinated the install with CG Appliance. I relied on them to get it done at the right time. I'm delighted with results! Working with Kitchen Experts was smooth and predictable. Project Manager Marco was extraordinary with his attention to detail and being there whenever needed. Taken for a very expensive ride by Johnny at KE in Pleasanton. Took more than 6 months to even get started and with 3+ months on-site that's' not a reasonable amount of time for a remodel. They did not honor their own 1 year guarantee to fix any workmanship issues and after selling their work based on a claim of 40% off the project price, the total costs appear to have been more than double what they should have been. Anytime a contractor refuses to give you a breakout of the labor and material costs report them to the Contractors State License Board (www2.cslb.ca.gov). UPDATE: As of 3/22/2023 and effective 5/5/2023, for fraudulent acts resulting in multiple causes of discipline, Contractor's license number 983848 issued to Kitchen Experts of California (Pleasanton) has been revoked for a period of 2 years. read more

They claim on TV that they are a "one-stop show" to handle all of your kitchen remodel needs. They even mention structural changes in their show on TV. After playing telephone tag with one of their employees for several days, they ask me to verify all of the information that I went through on the phone with the first call. Not great, but ok. Then she asked me what I want to do. I say that I want to take down a couple of walls to open up the floor plan and make a larger kitchen. She tells me that "just to let me know.." that they don't handle structural changes. I have to go find a structural engineering company to draw up the plans, work with the city to get them approved, and after that.. they are your one stop shop for doing everything. She tried to sell me on this by saying that it can take 6-8 months to get structural work done, sometimes as much as a year... with this new way of doing things, they can have your kitchen underway in 2-3 months! I told her that makes zero sense.. you're telling me that me doing all of this myself can happen faster than if you did it (considering you have all of the knowledge and do this all of the time)? She admitted that they have been working with a company to handle their structural needs, but that company was overloaded with work. They have agreed to take care of customers in process, but will not take on any new work. So right off the bat, she is lying to me trying to convince me that this is better when the reality is that they just don't have the ability to do the work themselves. They should change their advertising to reflect that they are no longer a one-stop shop. On top of that.. I asked for recommendations for a structural engineering firm that they would work with. She referred me to the BBB and the California State Labor Board. Are you kidding me? That's the best you can do? Hard pass. When you can't be trusted in the intro call.. how can I trust you to do my job? I'll find someone else to do my kitchen. These people seem shady AF. read more

I don't understand the average 3 star review. We have had other contractors with their subcontractors in our house and that was a disaster and extremely frustrating. Our experience with The Kitchen Experts of California has been hands down the BEST contractor experience we have ever had. Are there bumps, yes. Am I super picky and demanding, yes. Have they ever said no or been unreasonable, absolutely not. Our kitchen remodel and bathroom addition started in 2019. By by mid 2020 we finally had four quotes. One from a Berkeley firm that was immediately tossed because the price was so outrageous. One from a general contractor and we said we could not go through that again and the mystery of add-ons was frightening, one was a "direct competitor" of the Kitchen experts, but we had an off-putting vibe from the initial meeting. And by far our meeting with Johnny clicked immediately. When we got the Kitchen Experts quote it fell in line with two of the other quotes and having a guaranteed project manager was the tipping point for us. So, in August 2020 we signed the contract, picked our flooring, cabinets and other goodies, all with the specter of Covid in the background, then the world really did fall apart with Covid. Fortunately, the Kitchen Experts didn't. They kept pushing through. We're we nervous, hell yes! Did we call them constantly, of course. And they would keep us informed. We were in the new Covid waiting room. On July, 30, 2021 they started demo. They even allowed me to take Timelapse video of the progress and it was incredible, the attention to detail was by far a thing we have never experienced with any other contractor. Bottom line, they gave us a gorgeous kitchen and bathroom. And any hiccups we had were resolved in a timely manner. We could not be happier. When I told friends and relatives we were dining in our new kitchen eight weeks after demolition, they told me I was extremely lucky. We hired the right people. The kitchen that came with our house was OK, but little things began to annoy us. The cabinets faded. The faucet loosened. The oven died. The dishwater flooded. The grout in the floor was impossible to clean. We decided to get something we can be proud of, something we can show off. We called Kitchen Experts. Part of what Kitchen Experts sell is an unbroken supply chain. They would not start our kitchen until they had all they needed to finish it. They were very good at sending us weekly schedules plus daily updates, and they answered my questions as they came up. I had a flood in my kitchen that forced me to have to remodel, and I had NO idea where to begin! 2 years later, after living in a halfway torn up kitchen, I found Kitchen Experts. Their lead designer Johnny Gonzalves helped me to create a vision for my kitchen. I didn't know where to begin, but Johnny's design and layout gave me a floor plan that I could never have imagined on my own. He guided me through the process of selecting cabinets, countertops, flooring, and all the appliances and cabinet features. I picked everything out in 1 day thanks to Johnny and their amazing showroom! The flow is now incredibly efficient and I love alI the slick features he turned me onto. If you have had any construction done to your house before, you know that the process can be a roller coaster but with Kitchen Experts, you'll have someone holding your hand next to you the entire ride. And that was so comforting. I would highly suggest that any verbal agreements that you make with any of the staff be documented in email because there is so much going on all the time and it's good to leave a paper trail. We worked with Dean, Tim, Denise, and Claudia from the office and the ladies were rockstars!! They responded promptly and called back in a timely manner. I could always count on them. I think that Dean and Tim were just so busy with other projects that responses were confused and delayed at times. But Denise was assigned specifically to us so her support and advocacy made the whole process so smooth and enjoyable. They understood that we worked hard for the money we were investing into our kitchen and were able to really support us. For those who were actually working on constructing our kitchen, I hope they all get bonuses because the work they achieved went above and beyond what we thought we could achieve in our house. Felipe, our foreman was a B O S S. And Elvis was a rockstar. We felt so safe and we were able to visit the store and pick out and feel the materials that we wanted in our kitchen and were even able to choose what pieces of granite we wanted where. Whenever complications arose, which were to be expected, Kitchen Experts handled everything with great customer service and professional care. If there is one word that I'd use to describe doing business with Kitchen Experts, it would be "outstanding". Everyone should do business like them. Note this review will be in a referral letter than I've written for the new owner, James. It will have my contact information so that you can call me and I can answer any other additional questions you may have. He runs an outstanding business. My first ever remodeling experience didn't go so hot. I've written those reviews. I don't want to taint this review with that experience any more then I have to. I called Kitchen Experts (James) after 9 on a weeknight. I explained that I fired my current contractor and designer and I needed someone to come in and complete the next phase of my remodel. The master bedroom and bath. I expected to leave a voice mail but he answered! Not only that, he came over that night to have a look at the work I needed. He also looked at the work I already had done and pointed out some issues that should've never happened because one was a code violation and the other wasn't in the design plan. He knows his stuff. I, literally, show him some pics I downloaded off of House and we met once after he found some materials to match what I was after. He also took the time to learn about the feel I was going for. The price he quoted me was very competitive. So much so, I had some concern about where I'd take the hit. Given my prior experience, if his quote was less than what I got from my old contractor. Surely, either quality would suffer or it would take forever. You can't have everything, right? Wrong! I was so wrong. The *entire* experience was outstanding. I felt like I was on an HGTV show. His *entire* Team is outstanding. They are all professional with an apparent directive that Customer Service is the priority. They were fast. They cleaned up when they were done for the day. The new owner, James, did extra things that we didn't even contract for to make it all work for me. Additionally, where we did have the inevitable delay, which was my fault, he made it right by doing some additional things to transform my house from a place I was living in in while I was remodeling into my home. The pictures don't do it justice. You can visit an ongoing project site should you choose to see how the Team works. I did. What I saw there on site was what I got. Kitchen Experts (the owner specifically), makes sure that you're happy throughout the entire process and, again, their prices are competitive. Let me put it another way, do NOT look for another contractor or interior designer or project manager. Call Kitchen Experts. Pay them the deposit. Relax. Have your mind blown. Pay them the rest. Enjoy knowing that nobody you know will ever have what they've created for you. The pictures of their work is below AND you should know that they did ALL of my kitchen and fireplace in 5 (yes, F-I-V-E) days. In addition, he redid my garage and added a surround sound system for the TV above the fireplace. He, once again, went above and beyond the call of duty and created amazing spaces that, to this day, I can't believe are in MY house. It's like living in a suite. James is a tremendous businessman and I am proud to call him my friend. Our 30 year old kitchen was drab and outdated and we called Kitchen Experts (KE) for help. We met with Johnny from KE and planned my wifes dream kitchen. The process was smooth and very professional. John's years of experience in designing and integrating the desires of home owners made the design phase almost painless. Although we had some challenges with new building codes, John took care of them in the planning phase so as to avoid problems when we started building. The showroom in Pleasanton was very helpful in completing the design of cabinets, countertops and floor coverings. The foreman and team leads were on site through the whole process to ensure that we got what we wanted and in a quality finish. The workers, particularly the tile and cabinet guys were outstanding. The quality of their work was top notch. KE handled the design, permitting, building and final inspections with no hiccups. Their price was not the lowest we were quoted, but we are quite happy with the result. We had confidence through out the process that KE was there with us to remedy any issues that arose. KE always has someone available to talk with us about any concerns that arose. I would recommend them to anyone. read more

We our kitchen remodel over the summer & I decided to write a review after seeing them on TV. It was ABSOLUTELY wonderfully!! My husband & I joked about pulling out our air mattress to sleep in the new kitchen. We called a couple places to get quotes after remodeling our master bathroom. We worked with a general contractor for that job & so we asked him to bid on our kitchen remodel. My husband & I both work full time and we have 2 kids, so it took a couple months to finish our bathroom because we had to do the shopping for the materials, approve purchase orders and schedule with the sub-contractors. (I'm giving all this information to set the stage for why I love Kitchen Experts so much) When Kitchen Experts came for the consultation, the first thing John said was "I can make this kitchen so much better." He asked us a few questions about how we use the kitchen and what we wanted out of a remodel. We told him we were open to his suggestions, but were concerned with staying on budget. He then proceeded to walk around the kitchen, telling us where he thought our appliances would work best. We showed him a few pictures of kitchens we found online, then he went to his car & came back with some sample cabinets. During the consultation, we were sold. We asked him when he could start. He told us he could schedule demolition for the next week, and we'd have a new kitchen by the end of the month. It took a total of 11 work days for them to gut the kitchen, move water lines, move gas line, replace floors, walls, ceiling, install cabinets, counters & appliances. It was AMAZING. Every day, my husband & I would come home from work & peak in to see what was done in the kitchen. The workers were FAST, efficient and very clean. They put up tarps & plastic to minimize the saw dust in the rest of the house. They vacuumed and swept before they left each day. They worked with our schedule and made it very easy, where we only had to choose colors and appliance. They did everything and we didn't have to make any trips to warehouses or make any calls to an sub contractors. I removed 1 star only because we had to call them back after the work was completed to do some "touch up" work. We walked through the kitchen with a fine-tooth comb & made a short list of fixes. After we brought these things to their attention, they promptly returned and corrected/finished the imperfections. I have already recommended them to a few co-workers and my whole family. I wish they did other parts of the house, because I would totally call them for ANY of my home improvement needs. read more

James took over my school building abandoned by our previous contractor who left the building unfinished . Within three weeks we got the building all completed with beautiful cabinets in all the classrooms , the school painted and glistening ! There was a lot of cement work to be done too and it was completed with city specifications . On Christmas Eve l was driving by and was in awe when l saw the building which was started by the previous contractor two years ago all completed . We got our school license immediately after that and we are now in business. I am so grateful to James and his team for the awesome job done without any hesitation . Their foreman, Caesar is a huge asset to them, he oversaw and worked on everything from demo to plumbing, electrical, installation of cabinets, counters and appliances. The Project Manager was in touch with me almost every day to make sure everything was on track as expected. In addition to the construction aspect, KE allowed us to put off starting the work on hold for over a year due to medical/financial issues. They never once pressured us to get started until we were ready, which was so appreciated. We ended up adding items at the beginning of the contract and have ended up with not only a new kitchen, but new flooring in our living room, dining room, entry way and hallways. Each day they cleaned up after themselves, covered the floors and countertops, they were extremely professional in every way. It looks like a new house and feels as if there is twice as much room in the kitchen/living area, due to Johnny's design suggestions. They worked with us each step of the way. My 10 year old grandson was the one who asked me to call KE after seeing their ad on TV. He told me that they looked as if they "did a good job". He has checked in weekend and asked if I am happy with his choice of company to "fix up" the kitchen? He said he thinks they've done a "great job"! Many companies claim that they guarantee their work and they stand by the warranties. I have not found that to be try 100% all the time. I cannot say that about Kitchen Experts!! Kitchen Experts stand by their word and Kitchen Experts stand by their work. Kitchen Expert did a beautiful job renovating our kitchen and since we have somewhat of an old house after the kitchen was completed, the house settled and there seemed to be some cracking that appeared, I contacted Kitchen Expert and they were on it right away. Not only did they fix the crack that I contacted them about, they inspected the whole kitchen with a flashlight and corrected additional areas that had settling issues that I had not seen. I arranged for this company to visit me to provide a quote for kitchen remodeling. First, the representative who showed up was not the one I was told to expect. When I mentioned this, the representative shrugged his shoulders and indicated that (in his opinion) it didn't matter because they are all interchangeable. Second, I made it clear that what I was looking for was cabinet refacing and new counters without any physical reconfiguration. I was given a quote of $40K and that did not include new flooring! When I asked, "If that's what a reface job costs, I can't imaging how much a full remodel would cost." I was told $50K--without appliances or flooring! As we continued the conversation, what I was given was the representative's idea of what the kitchen should look like without major construction--I was not really asked or allowed to contribute. I was also told that my brand new in-counter cooktop and over-cooktop Advantium oven could not be used because the cooktop was wider than the venting Advantium oven and violated code. I indicated that the appliances in question were brand new and I was not about to give them up. This was an impasse. I was also told that all electrical would need to be redone (and most of it is already new) because the backsplash would be redone and that code required the electrical to be redone because of that. Huh? We're not talking opening the walls here to put on new backsplash. An astute and customer-oriented representative would have suggested simply moving the Advantium to be located under a different cabinet and using a hood over the cooktop that met code requirement. That would have been a 48" hood; and the representative told me that nobody makes them; I searched Home Depot when he left and was shown dozens of 48" hoods immediately! All in all I felt like this representative saw a senior citizen and decided to offer a deal designed to take unfair advantage. At the representatives insistence, I had scheduled the next step: a visit to the showroom. But after thinking over the entire encounter, I was left with such a bad taste in my mouth that I cancelled the entire process. read more

A nightmare with this company. We spent over $120 K to remodel our kitchen, nothing but a nightmare for us. They advertised on tv kron 4 news nothing like they said on tv but just a paid advertise. Do your home work checkout a lot of yelp rating and better business bureau complaints. We regret that we didn't check them out before signed the contract. Our kitchen remodel in August 2019 until today still not complete yet, and don't get scam from them to buy appliances for the whole package. John Gonzalves is a very BAD salesperson DO NOT TRUST him, as soon as he got paid he's gone nowhere to be found, like what he promised us. The workers did a great job and Efrain is the leader they are good, only management they are terrible. All project manager are young kids no experience no skill, they all miss diva that sit at the office and don't even know how to hold the hammer. They should have Efrain to be the project manager, he's very Knowledgeable and project manager should visit the job site and know about the projects. There is not enough space for me to write all my problems, but all I can say is do your homework before spending BIG money like us and before they tear down your kitchen. After they demo my kitchen and told us our floor is not level so they wanted more money. Until today 11/11/2019 our house is not complete or walk through to close the project. Appliances still not working from the day one they installed, they replaced the refrigerator that we bought almost $8k didn't make ice and its hot instead cold. I had first seen Kitchen Experts on the malou review and they lived up to theyre name. amazing design and remodel from the floor to the cieling fan. not only did they get the color perfect to my likings but they also have returned to service my heavily used and drawers. while doing any work on my kitchen they also kept my living quarters mess and dust free, which is very important when caring for an infant. We finally decided to remodel our kitchen which we never did since we bought the house almost 21 yrs ago. I had seen this advertisement on KRON channel 4 about them many times and always wished I also could have this kind of kitchen. I was curious to see what they could do and how expensive it would get and so finally took a leap of faith. Johnny came by our place and we did have some personality clashes but then were able to resolve our differences and agreed upon the work to be done and cost. Having dealt contractors in the past, we knew the hassles one goes through to get something done. The architect (whose name I cannot remember) was very thorough in his measurement and told us what can and what cannot be done. All four contractors (Moise - demolition, Felipe - general contractor, David - flooring and Eliseo - countertop) and their crew were awesome. What a fantastic job these folks did and I am glad that we got them to do the work. They were through and through professional and efficient in their workmanship. Both Sarai and Ryan were also very helpful with our financing and material needs. The reason for the 4 star is because we were very disappointed with the project manager assigned to our project. He did not go over all of the material list, ordered the wrong parts, and as a result we had a week's delay for the completion. Had this not happened, this was a 5 star work. Yes it was pricey and Johnny was upfront about it but then the finished product was worth the price. Thank you kitchen experts. read more

My wife and I called Kitchen Experts to get a quote to install a closet in our son's bedroom and renovate our fire place mantel. During the conversation we began to discuss future renovations for our kitchen. James showed us some kitchens that they had done and started throwing out some great ideas for the kitchen. Before we knew it, we had decided to remodel the kitchen, the fireplace and get the interior paint done....completely forgetting about the closet. It's necessary to state that my wife and I lack the flair for home décor. James, however, oozes integrity, creativity and vision. If there was something that we wanted that did not work, he let us know. If we had an idea that was costly, he came up with a better, more cost efficient concept. We gave him the budget that we had to work with and he never pushed it, instead, he would provide other ideas. The more he spoke, the more excited we got. He gave us so many choices and ideas to pick from, that at times, it was overwhelming. He met with us several times and walked us through picking cabinets, counter tops, flooring, backsplash, paint...etc... the list goes on. He made the whole experience fun and exciting for both of us. There were some things that my wife and I could not decide on b/c we just couldn't envision it, so we gave James creative license. We gave him free reign to pick out our pendant lights, our curtains, and design the pattern of our backsplash based on the tiles we picked out which, I might add, were two completely different styles and tiles that his crew modified on site to make one cohesive backsplash. Additionally, we let him decide how to paint the interior of the house with the four colors that we had picked...or rather, that he matched up together based on the kitchen design and the rest of the house décor. On February 16th we had everything picked out that we needed and it was time to decide when we would start. We informed James that we were leaving for vacation on the 20th for 8 days. He said that he could have everything done while we were gone! Yes, everything, full kitchen remodel, full interior paint on a 2500 sqft, 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom, two story home! And let me tell you, he did not disappoint! On the 19th, he came by and let us do some demolition on our kitchen. My three kids were thrilled to be able to destroy stuff. Our vacation was in Disney World and we were more excited to come home and see the renovations! When we returned on Feb. 28th, James met us there and introduced us to a whole new house! He went above and beyond what we asked for. Our home was a model home now! Let me just tell you, James not only has a designer's eye, he listens too. We walked in to our home and saw extra things done the he heard us say that we would do later. We discussed swapping our blinds for new ones, he did that for us. We had asked him to remove the light switches and outlets b/c we would replace them later, but he did it with rockers, dimmers and some even have USB ports in them! He replaced the carpet in our living room, hallway and bedroom because the original carpet made his kitchen 'look bad'.(lol) He touched up the paint on our front door because it was chipped (by us), he laid the extra tile he had left over from the kitchen in the downstairs bathroom because it was the old linoleum, he put molding on our stair case that really modernized the look of it, he re-caulked our showers and sinks, re-screened all of the windows/screen door, and he painted the back yard cement because he knew that we hated the pink cement the previous owners put in. He also added sensor lights under the cabinets so that when you walk by or wave a hand in the dark a light turns on. He also put lighting around the bottom of the kitchen island which is operated by a remote control and changes to about 8 different colors. We all love, love, LOVE everything they did! All of this was free. He/They did not charge us a single extra penny! Crazier still, James thanked us repeatedly for trusting him to make decisions and surprise us. He was genuinely happy to remodel our home and refused extra payment when we offered. I can tell you this much, when it's time to remodel our bathrooms, they will be our guys! I'd like to take this opportunity to inform Kitchen Experts that my wife and I were extremely pleased with the kitchen remodel work that your company performed at our residence. The crews were very professional, courteous, prompt, and knowledgeable. Christian and Damian worked very hard to make sure things were done properly. The only break they took during construction was for lunch. They worked continuously throughout the day, and some of the things they did were very challenging. They were able to work around these non-standard situations in a professional manner and very quickly. It really amazed me what they were able to accomplish while being time constrained. Yesterday they worked from about 8:30am and left around 7:30pm and my wife and I could tell they were very exhausted. Also, Somatra kept me informed of the status of the project every day, either by email or phone call, and was able to communicate questions and minor issues in a timely manner. Dean also provided a lot of expertise and assistance by answering our questions about the project during the sales phase and follow up. The above says a lot about the success of your business model. Customer service seems to be the main focus of all of the employees we had a chance to meet and work with. This model seems to be lacking in many companies, but is of utmost importance to the customer. When the customer knows what is going on and what is to follow, there is a sense that the customer comes first, which will eventually drives more customers your way. Although their products are good, you always can find good products anywhere else but this team doesnt have the best customer service based on our experiences.
