My wife Lauren and I ordered a healthy amount of soups and snacks in preparation for our first baby. All the food we ordered was Absolutely delicious, and ordering online/scheduling delivery was super easy. The food is out of this world good! Super simple to heat up and eat; take it from someone who isn't the greatest cook. Favorites thus far have been the lemongrass carrot soup, grass feed beef chili, cheddar chive biscuits and chia pudding.

I respect that they market this towards pregnant women and recent mothers, but what about us lazy, kidless professionals!? I've been trying various meal delivery services and this is one of the better ones - even showed up cold. I'll probably always try to have a couple of their stews or soups in my freezer as a backup. So far I tried the black eyed pea stew, chicken noodle soup, and chili. They were all excellent. They taste fresh and homemade. Each bag was about 2 servings, the chili about 3. Beware of the coconut ball dessert. It's so good I ate all of them in one day! Eek! They were so moist and melted in your mouth. I could eat these everyday. The turmeric tonic was a bit sweet for my personal taste with added honey, but the flavor was good.

    What a generous gift!

Received the Healing and Recovery package as a gift during my husband's recovery from illness and surgery. What a break! I was able to customize our choices and everything was freshly prepared, delicious and healthy. This is a great gift for recovery and there are many choices. We especially liked the cock-a-leekie soup and the Farro stew. We still have the Yam and Peanut soup to try but know it will be yummy. We will be ordering again. Thank you Tali and Staff

Hi, is 20th St still available as pickup location? It's closer to my office. Thanks!

Hi Daphne, Thanks for your interest in Kitchen Doula! The 20th St. address is our commercial kitchen and it's a little tricky to access it but we have another pick up location just off the Fruitvale Ave exit on 580!

Hi! I am an expectant mother interested in a weekly subscription. I have an auto immune disease, and am totally gluten free. Do you provide gf substitutes for the cookies and such? I did not see an option to amend for food allergies while ordering.

(I stopped…read moreordering from them because my allergies were activated, and I needed to do an elimination diet. When I came back to them a couple years later, the price point had gone up & I was priced out.) The portion sizes were large. I think it was like $12-13/meal. 99% of the dishes were delicious. I was REALLY pleasantly surprised at the flavor & taste. I expected gentrified dishes. It was good! I was also specifically looking for meal delivery that generated less waste. Planter table delivered that. I got cool enough with my driver (and tipped well!) that he brought me a little thank you plant. I loved that I had the same driver each time. It was just a really pleasant experience overall. Nothing bad to say.

I am not vegan but this hits the spot and is the best meal service I have found. The food is still amazing and I'm happy to see the meal options have expanded, there's seasonal produce options and Acme bread, and now they post calorie information. They have family style option to get a bigger portion for those who have a family, or for me, to bring to a pot luck. They also have individual desserts and full size pies/cakes. Seriously - they have everything. They no longer offer wine for those who care. There are some additional pick up options, too, but I stick with Jack London Square on Wednesdays from 11:30-2:00. Pro tip: get the cookie dough!!!!! And the chili. And the breakfast burritos. And the bake at home pizza ........ $20 credit Referral code: QWC3D2MJ

My body feel much better too after 11 months of this service--I feel lighter and more energized. Molly gave me a nutrition consultation that really helped me dial in the best diet for me, and they also offered me a free herbal tea blend to kickstart my health. All their dishes have been delicious so far, made with creativity and love. The sourcing was really important to me also, and these ladies are obsessive about it--all organic, high quality ingredients. I can tell the difference from other food services I've tried that were priced similarly, but fell short on quality. All in all, I'm hooked. A life enhancing service that I can't imagine being without! Thank you ladies for all your hard work.

1776 Powell St Emeryville, CA 94608…read more "Banda Burrito" is a virtual brand of Denny's Restaurants. A virtual brand is a menu that is only available on food delivery apps like Doordash (DD). Where your food is prepared depends on where you live. I saw a promo to try Banda Burrito, so I gave it a try on a Monday night. The menu offers various burritos, sides, and drinks. I ordered: - El Chamuco burrito, $12.88 - Chips & Queso, $3.75 El Chamuco, Grade (3/5): This is a breakfast burrito. It's made with eggs, chorizo, bacon, sausage, cheese, and sliced jalapeños. It's the right size, but it's a bit lighter than what you might get from a mexican food truck. The El Chamuco tasted good, and the jalapeños provided a good amount of heat. The eggs, bacon, and sausage all tasted fresh and full of flavor. What's missing? The El Chamuco burrito has no rice, beans or potato added into it. So after awhile, you're hungry again. If you go to a mexican food truck right now and order a burrito, it will be heavier. They usually add rice and/or beans to the recipe. You eat it and you will feel full longer. And that's what's wrong with the El Chamuco burrito, it's not filling enough. Chips & Queso, Grade (3/5): You get what you pay for, chips and small cheese dip. Would I order again? No thanks
