We worked with Cristine to get our quotes and installation scheduled and she was very helpful. She was very patient while we were selecting the stone and the options. They give you calls as the process makes progress. The first appointment is where they come in and measure your kitchen Countertops using laser to get the accurate measurements. The technician came on time and was very professional. The next appointment is the actual installation. They gave me a call and gave a heads up that the since the stone was too large and if it didn't go in, they might have to take it back to their site, cut it and bring it back. I liked the fact that they gave me this heads up. We had 4 technicians come over to bring the stone inside and they were very thorough in their job. The final installation looks great! I strongly recommend them.

Showed them a sample of a countertop we liked (we brought it with us) and the guy - who never did even stand up from his desk - said "nope - don't have one like that" (it was white stone with a bit of gold veining - he didn't even suggest an alternative). Finally when we told him it was for a powder room project he told us that the minimum order was $800. At that point it was crystal clear that he wasn't interested in helping us - HUGE mistake walking in. Anyone with a smaller job should steer clear! It's really easy to see why more and more people go to the "Big Boxes" for things like this. Thankfully American Granite is 100 yard's away!

Christmas gift ideas were in full swing, from cozy slippers, to a Starbucks hot chocolate set. I stared at a bunch of Minnesota Vikings and Wild drinkware items. The SodaStream section is amazing. You can exchange you CO2 cylinder for a full one. The variety of syrups and Bubly drops was impressive. I had never seen strawberry watermelon syrup before. I may have to return and import it. This place is stocked full of Dash small appliances. I have such a weakness for the brand. I own the small griddles and waffle makers, but not the one that does a gingerbread person waffle. As much as I want one because it's cute, I decided to use some willpower and moved on. I ended up getting a tweezer case with a mirror that goes up to 15x magnification. I don't have a case for my tweezers when I travel and the mirror doesn't hurt to have. It was on sale. It works well! I went to pay for my item. The woman at the checkout area was friendly, I paid with a credit card and didn't experience any issues. I thanked the woman and left. You can place an order and pick it up here when it's ready. It has the same feel as the Bed Bath & Beyond stores in Canada. Consistency is great! (491)

We paid just over $21,000 to Kona Cabinetry for a kitchen project that began January 15, 2026. We…read morewere told the installation would take approximately three days. Instead, the project stretched nearly four months, with major pieces not installed until May 12 and additional finishing concerns remaining after that. Our experience included refrigerator panels that had not initially been ordered, insufficient material, missing and incorrect cabinet doors, doors modified inside our home, repeated hood replacements, shipping delays, missed dates, missing trim and finishing pieces, and a replacement hood that still did not properly match the surrounding cabinetry. The hood alone took four or five attempts to arrive with the correct stain and without water spots or damage. The hood and most of the cabinetry came from KCD. KCD and Kona's owner both confirmed that KCD reimbursed Kona in connection with the hood issue, although we do not know the amount Kona received. Near the end of the project, Kona's owner came to our home, delivered a $2,500 refund tied to the hood, expressed empathy and promised a quick resolution. In our view, returning the amount paid for a hood Kona could not successfully deliver did not represent meaningful financial accountability for the months of delays, ordering errors, field modifications, communication failures and remaining workmanship or finish concerns. Throughout the project, my wife and I repeatedly had to initiate communication, document open items, request dates and follow up when those dates passed. Even after Kona's owner became our primary point of contact, multiple calls were not returned. When we met with Kona's owner, he acknowledged that some cabinet details should not have looked the way they did. However, much of the broader experience was attributed to manufacturers, freight issues, outdated catalogs, discontinued products, a former employee and "normal remodeling complications." We hired and paid Kona - not its manufacturers, carriers or former employees. We expected Kona to manage those relationships and remain accountable for the final product. We finally lost confidence when Kona came out for what was supposed to be the final visit and once again did not have everything needed to finish the project. Additional pieces were still missing, and the hood still did not match after the trim was installed. Accepting more replacement products and more corrective visits no longer felt like a realistic path to the result we had paid for. We then attempted to resolve the experience privately. Kona responded with a settlement agreement requiring us to immediately release all claims involving the project, including warranty and workmanship issues. It also prohibited any reviews, complaints and public statements. Kona's payment would come later, and if Kona failed to pay, all we could pursue is the settlement amount, and our underlying claims would still remain permanently released. We declined because we were not willing to immediately give up every right and then once again trust Kona to perform later. No renovation is perfect, but this went far beyond normal remodeling complications. The most disappointing part was Kona's continued reluctance to take meaningful ownership of the overall experience and final result. Based on our experience, we would not recommend Kona Cabinetry.

They also installed new glass walls and doors with hardware. The installer mismatched the upstairs bath trim with some chrome and some brushed nickel and mismatched the main level bath trim as well. They came out and removed and re-installed everything to match. The doors weren't quite balanced as they needed constant retightening with an allen wrench to align properly. Then they sent another installer that really knew what he was doing and got the doors so they were set correctly. Everything was great. Three and a half years go by. Then there is notice of horizontal grout line cracking significantly where they met the old tile to the new tile. Of course this is beyond their two-year warranty. They claim they informed us the inherent risk of trying to match the old and new a foot from the floor and movement would inevitably occur. However, nobody told us that. If they did, we would have never gone that route. When you pay a substantial sum for a nice bathroom improvement, you expect it to last a lot more than 3.5 years. I was hoping they would offer to remove the glass doors and reinstall them after I tiled the whole shower again, but they were not willing to do that nor did they respond when I told them that neither the estimator nor installer ever said the risk of what we had done. Really Disappointed.

Dec 2021, Clear Choice Bath (CCB) remodeled a bathroom that involved installing a new shower and…read morevinyl tile flooring, replacing the subfloor around the toilet, totalling $14,788 with a 2-year warranty. 5/12/23, We noticed a leak under the toilet coming through the basement ceiling. The toilet also appeared sunken. 5/19/23, CCB supervisor inspected and confirmed that the subfloor had not been properly supported as part of the remodeling and therefore, a warranty issue. CCB did not report any standing water on the bathroom floor. 5/26/23, CCB supervisor texted to explain his discovery that "the joint down below was not properly supported under the toilet" from inspecting the subfloor through the basement's open ceiling. His plan was to "repair it accordingly... take the toilet up. Put a new piece of subfloor underneath to support across the entire area and then reset the toilet," indicating that CCB had already authorized the warranty repair. Homeowners confirmed that there was NO standing water before the rep arrived that day. CCB began the repair by removing the vinyl tiles a foot away from the toilet and replacing the toilet wax ring. However CCB refused to finish the repair as planned, claiming that there was water(all of a sudden) on the floor at the time of repair therefore voiding the warranty. Perhaps the CCB rep caused a leak to start during the repair? CCB completely ignores the fundamental problem: the incorrect installation of the sub-floor as admitted by CCB's very own supervisor. CCB even goes against their own supervisor's expert assessment and resolution to fix the subfloor to meet building requirements. Therefore, CCB is solely responsible for the improperly repaired subfloor. This is a valid, legitimate warranty issue because the leak did NOT cause the subfloor to be improperly installed. CCB left the floor torn up leaving the subfloor unsightly and exposed.

From Andrew in sales, the front desk team and billing, Doug doing laser measuring to Ivan, Justin and Shawn doing the installation. Like any remodel, you find challenges and this team was able to solve them with ease. HIGHLY recommend them! When you do your research, look at how many 5-stars this company has. We were updating our kitchen and a half bath. I found their pricing easy to understand and I felt they were fair and easy to make changes. Their bid included plumbing so it was one stop service. We purchased the new sink and faucet and they were in charge of the installation. Once we decided to hire RockSmith, it was fairly easy to work with them. Go to MSI Surfaces and select our slabs and tag them to us and RockSmith. Once this is done, we scheduled a time for RockSmith to come and do laser measuring. (THIS IS AWESOME). This followed by going to RockSmith to pick a specific area we wanted to be the peninsula. Billing was easy. Go to https://www.rocksmithgranite.com and pay online or call and they can take a credit card.
