I love the countertops I received from Dennis's business. The install was a bit rough since the hired installers did not understand Dennis's instructions. Dennis made it right by having a different person return to complete the job. The cabinets "looked" nice upon initial install. But Mark, the installer, recommended by Dennis, failed to complete the finer details. Nail marks/holes were left with Mark's recommendation for me to buy "white nail polish" to cover the holes. The cabinets chip easily if a plate or glass accidentally touches the edge when returning them to the cabinet. Mark's phone number was "no longer in service" soon thereafter. I like to support "local" businesses and Dennis is a "nice" guy. I recommend, however, that homeowners hire their own installers and be sure they are happy with "made in China" cabinetry, as indicated on the cabinets when they arrived. read more

Dennis is a super nice guy. I have used him twice before on houses that I sold before using the kitchens so when I moved, I went straight back to him. While he didn't have all the options we wanted, he was able to make things work in our tight space. I also came into the shop looking for wood (not painted) cabinets and Dennis talked me into white shaker cabinets. A day before the cabinets were to be delivered, he told us that his truck could not get to our house so I had to hire movers to come get the cabinets from the side of the road (at my own expense). Not a problem, we live on a tight street. His installer was great (even helped with some other parts of our project) but didn't ask where we wanted the rolling drawers in our pantry and put a cabinet in the wrong place. We can't fit any of our pantry items in the parnty because the rolling shelves are too close together. When we've tried to get him to come back to move the rolling bins and finish the cabinets he hasn't gotten back to us since (again - he was amazing when he was here but there is no follow up). Here is the worst part - 6 months after getting the cabinets the cabinets are all chipping, the drawers don't stay on track, and I am super upset. We did a full remodel of our kitchen and now I'm not sure I want to keep these cabinets in since they are looking so incredibly crappy. Also, the trim on the front of the cabinets has a gap between it and the face of the cabinet so crumbs get stuck in it and it is starting to separate from the cabinets. When I asked Dennis to remedy these situations, it took a threat of taking further action to get him to respond and then he said we must be "abusing" our cabinets. I've been alive for many years and owned many sets of cabinets and I have never had any that were as beat up as these, particularly after 6 months. read more

We heard about Dennis from a client of my husband. Building a house in the middle of a pandemic you heard more than once. Sorry, but we are having delivery delays!! Not Dennis he was able to get the cabinets we wanted make it work in a small kitchen. We got our cabinets on time and then we needed to get the counters installed in a rush. Dennis pulled his counter team off another job to help us get things done to help make a dream come true!! He team was great and we were able to get it done on time. Our Dad wanted to see our new house before he passed and Dennis and his team moved heaven and counters to get it done. I first met Dennis in the spring of 2018. I was searching for a quartz countertop for a guest bathroom model that we had done. I already had the vanity just needed a countertop. Dennis actually gave me a countertop for free that he had in his shop, and just charged me for the sink. A few months later when we were remodeling our kitchen I went to Dennis for a quote on cabinets. Not only was he the most competitive in pricing, but hiis knowledge of cabinets and construction and design was remarkable. I Purchased the cabinets from Dennis and he recommended a few installers since I didn't have anyone to do the job. I chose the installer and the cabinets were installed as well as the countertops which Dennis arranged but didn't make any profit on. When there was a few hiccups in the installation of the cabinets, Dennis was the one who handled the correction of them even though he was not responsible for the installation difficulties. He made multiple trips to my home to make sure that I was satisfied with the installation. Fast forward to this year and we just completed the master bath remodel. Of course I went to Dennis for the cabinets but I had my own installer this time. This time my installer screwed up, and Dennis came to my house on multiple trips and bent over backwards to make sure that my installer knew how to fix his screw ups correctly. Bear in mind that Dennis only sells cabinets. That's it! I will tell you with 100% confidence that Dennis is one of the most reliable honest business owners I have met in my 63 years. I was very pleased with the quality of the cabinets and Dennis' expertise when it came to ordering them. My displeasure is with the granite/installers that he selected to complete the granite work. They had to come out 3 times and it's still not right. Dennis stopped communicating after I paid the final invoice (my mistake). I've just given up at this point and I guess I will have to find a solution on my own. The second complaint I have is with the contractor he recommended to install the cabinets (Mark Spaulding Construction). The project was almost finished and there were a few small things to complete, along with the final inspection for the permit. He also stopped communicating and would not return calls, texts or emails. I had to complete the permit process myself which he should have done. Very disappointed and would not recomend either Kitchen Cabinets and More or Mark Spaulding Construction! read more

My wife and I were shopping for kitchen cabinets and initially went to Lowes. We found their prices were high for the quality of cabinets that fit our budget. My wife found Kitchen Cabinets & More on Craig's List. We made an appointment with Dennis Mcnutt, the owner. He is a real nice guy, knowledgeable, and fair. After we decided on the cabinets we wanted, he quoted us a price that was half of Lowes quote for better quality cabinets. This next part is the reason I am writing this yelp so you don't have to through the woes we did. Dennis offered two choices for the cabinets install. Pick one and have them do it. We didn't and it cost us over twice the cost and many additional days. We ended up needing to use a man Dennis recommended and he fixed the problems and gave us a great looking kitchen.
