See my other…read morereview about that (dated 5/27/2019) Fast forward to 2025, and unfortunately there was a pipe that burst in the rental and so a large portion of the flooring had to be pulled out. I decided to have the restoration company that did the drying process do all the repairs, painting, and installation in order to keep things simple (rather than me hiring and coordinating multiple companies). Unfortunately the restoration company's subcontractor did not do a very good job on the corners and edges, and that made me worry about whether there could be other bigger issues like with the leveling. I called Pro Flooring to get some information and see if they could give me a bid if we ended up having more problems resolving the issues. Vitaliy was very kind in spending a lot of time with me on the phone discussing my options, looking at some pictures, and arranging an appointment for his installer to take a look. As it turns out, once I was able to drive up to my rental unit and inspect it in person instead of via pictures on the phone, I felt that there was a good chance the issues were only cosmetic on the edges and transitions. I was able to discuss again with Vitaliy, and that helped me feel even more reassured, and in the end we did not need to have his installer take a look because I was feeling confident that those cosmetic issues could be fixed by the restoration company since they would not use the subcontractor this time. I do wish in retrospect that I had hired Pro Flooring to do this job, because I am sure we would not have had these issues. But Vitaliy sure helped me out by being very helpful and gracious with his time as I needed to figure out the best course of action. Thank you Vitaliy!

I thought about doing the kitchen floor myself (you know... gluing rectangles, no problem), but I am so happy I did not. Our house is a wonky franken-house and the original part built in 1934. He takes extra care in prepping / levelling the floor for the tile and takes no shortcuts. I know this is a literal foundation to a successful deployment. They started and finished the job within the time frame specified and stayed within cost. Adam laid out tiles on the floor to confirm I liked the spacing. He helped with advice on grout aesthetics and tile selection. Porcelain vs ceramic, where to look at and buy tile, etc. They finished in weeks what would have taken me months of night/weekends, not including the blood, tears, and (I assume) divorce. :) I am most impressed with the tile transitions and cuts around walls. Very precise. I told them I was OCD about the bathroom penny tile spacing, but they deployed it perfect. They take the doors off and will cut them shorter if necessary after the tile is in place. They do not typically remove or re-hookup appliances, vanities, toilets, etc. They are several months out, so don't expect to be scheduled in a couple weeks, but you might get lucky if someone cancels. He made sure I procured the tile before he scheduled the date, because shipping these days can be an issue for tile companies (supply-chain). He has tiled everything I need at this house. I can now advertise his services without impacting my own scheduling needs, so enjoy. :)

From the first conversation through material ordering, scheduling and install, Adam and his team kept me informed about the process and the next steps. Tile is not something that you want to DIY, even if you have other building trade skills. It takes a professional to do it right. Adam is careful and will not schedule the tile install until the site is 100% ready. I appreciate that. Adam will also take the time to stop by prior to install and check on the site and discuss details with you. From the first day of install, I could tell that Adam had worked out the math and had a plan for the layout. Our tile was relatively simple, subway tile, but Adam had worked out the layout both horizontal and vertical, taking into account the corners, plumbing and how the tile ends at the reveals. We chose natural tile in the master, and the other one he did matching porcelain which has been perfect for the kids because it's super durable. Both turned out beautifully and they feel very similar. Neil's attention to detail is amazing. The layout, the cuts, the way everything lines up -- you can tell he really cares about the quality of his work. Tile is one of those things where the craftsmanship really shows, and he absolutely nailed it. He was also great to work with throughout the process -- reliable, thoughtful, and clearly takes a lot of pride in what he does. We will be hiring him soon to remodel the kitchen too. On the day of installation, the 2 guys that were to install the tile arrived (on time), and Jose showed up with them. I really appreciated the personal touch and time he took with the guys to go over the details of the project. The installers were very polite and very competent at what they do. I know that some people might say "It's just subway", but with the dark grout, there's really no room for error - any offset tile will catch your eye right away. Chris was referred to me to remove my ancient water heater and install a new 40 gallon one…read more Chris gave me a very reasonable quote to do the work (much better than other quotes) and was able to come out quickly, as I didn't have hot water reliably. What stood out about Chris is that while he was there an unrelated problem arose with my plumbing and he spent about 3 hours fixing it, and refused any additional compensation. That's unheard of in this day and age. Don't let one bad review sway you from a reviewer who seemingly likes to give bad reviews (you can see it on her account). If you hire Chris, you will get a 5-star guy who will give you the shirt off of his back. He's warm, friendly, knowledgeable and fair- exactly the type of guy and company you want to fix your stuff. I will definitely be using Chris for future projects!
