When I first called Ron to fix a botched tile job at my landing, I didn't realize I was getting one of the best in the business. He's a tiling stud! Unlike my previous tiler, Ron dove right into the heart of the problem. He meticulously ripped out the old mess and started fresh, ensuring everything was waterproofed perfectly. Ron's approach is like a breath of fresh air. He knows his craft inside out and sticks to the old-school methods that are tried and true; it's clear he doesn't believe in shortcuts. As a result, I know that my new landing doesn't just look good, but is solid and built to last. Working with Ron was a pleasure. He was true to his word and always kept me in the loop. Even though the job was a pain in the butt, he never complained. It was obvious that his only concern was doing top-notch work. In short, if you want a tiler who's reliable, skilled, and honest (who doesn't?) Ron's your guy. Highly recommend!

Ron and his crew did an amazing job of installing our backsplash tile. It was a more complex pattern with many cuts and we are so delighted with how it turned out. We are happy to have him return to retile our fireplace surround in the next week or so. Ron is very experienced and has knowledgeable workarounds for customizing the project to your needs.

Ron Butulia, excellent tile contractor Ron was recommended by one of the established tile stores in Santa Rosa. We selected him for an initial job installing a large porcelain tile patio floor over existing concrete slab. We were so impressed with his workmanship on that job that we asked him to move immediately into a full master bathroom shower renovation project. That job was also beautifully done. A few examples show why we recommend Ron so highly for any tile project: Outstanding quality - Because the existing patio concrete floor had numerous expansion joints, Ron went to extra effort designing the new tile placement to minimize future stresses from floor movement. Ron was the only contractor with this quality effort. Great personal service - Because our tile store cancelled our first two tile orders due to current supply issues, Ron personally visited a number of other stores to locate tile closest to our preferences. Experience - Ron has over 30 years of experience. His crew has been with him over twenty years, a sign of stability and integrity. Ron completed these projects on-time and as agreed. His prices for our projects were in line with rates quoted by other contractors. In summary, we highly recommend Ron Butulia for quality tile projects.

I had water damage occur in my bathroom and had to have remediation work done on it. For the rebuild, I was fortunate to find Butulia's Tile. Ron worked hard to make sure my bathroom remodel was done right. He's very good with communication and is always prompt. He brought in reliable people for every phase and made sure I was happy with the results. The result is amazing!

Shower, bath, and floor tiling results from Ron Butulia's work

Ron Butulia is a master of the craft of tiling. He recently tiled our showers, bathroom floors, and the backsplash behind our stove and the results are impeccable. We had very nice tiling done by others in prior homes but Ron's work, knowledge, and execution of tile and grout work were at a higher level. Best of all, Ron is a super-nice and fun person to work with. He is also super-caring, communicative, and responsive. Look no further and hope he can take your job on.

Other than adding wood floors and necessary updates, we have never had any major home upgrades until now. Originally we had a combination tub and shower. My knees were taking a beating getting in and out, so we decided to take the plunge and remodel to a shower with a bench. This is quite a process and after deciding on a contractor we began. Ron Butulia of Butulia's Tile was fantastic. I would give him 10 stars if I could. I work from home and was a bit worried all the activity would interfere, but nope all the workmen involved came and went through the back yard and into the bedroom, never getting in my way. Ron would check in every morning and give me an update of the days activities and that was that. Ron worked with us every step of the way from the tile selection through the shower door installation. Every individual we worked with through the process was professional, affable, and top notch at their part in the procedure, and most importantly cleaned up after themselves perfectly. Here is the result of his beautiful tile work. I am in love with my shower. The bench is perfect and angled in such a way as to make it easy to clean and avoid mildew. He thought of everything. The rain shower that his plumber recommended can be angled and reaches the bench with plenty of force. My water bill is going to be higher because I don't want to get out. Again we could not be happier with the result!

Ron tiled my little bathroom floor for me after another tile guy left me in the lurch. It came out really beautiful and I'm very happy.

I thought about doing the kitchen floor myself (you know... gluing rectangles, no problem), but I am so happy I did not. Our house is a wonky franken-house and the original part built in 1934. He takes extra care in prepping / levelling the floor for the tile and takes no shortcuts. I know this is a literal foundation to a successful deployment. They started and finished the job within the time frame specified and stayed within cost. Adam laid out tiles on the floor to confirm I liked the spacing. He helped with advice on grout aesthetics and tile selection. Porcelain vs ceramic, where to look at and buy tile, etc. They finished in weeks what would have taken me months of night/weekends, not including the blood, tears, and (I assume) divorce. :) I am most impressed with the tile transitions and cuts around walls. Very precise. I told them I was OCD about the bathroom penny tile spacing, but they deployed it perfect. They take the doors off and will cut them shorter if necessary after the tile is in place. They do not typically remove or re-hookup appliances, vanities, toilets, etc. They are several months out, so don't expect to be scheduled in a couple weeks, but you might get lucky if someone cancels. He made sure I procured the tile before he scheduled the date, because shipping these days can be an issue for tile companies (supply-chain). He has tiled everything I need at this house. I can now advertise his services without impacting my own scheduling needs, so enjoy. :)

From the first conversation through material ordering, scheduling and install, Adam and his team kept me informed about the process and the next steps. Tile is not something that you want to DIY, even if you have other building trade skills. It takes a professional to do it right. Adam is careful and will not schedule the tile install until the site is 100% ready. I appreciate that. Adam will also take the time to stop by prior to install and check on the site and discuss details with you. From the first day of install, I could tell that Adam had worked out the math and had a plan for the layout. Our tile was relatively simple, subway tile, but Adam had worked out the layout both horizontal and vertical, taking into account the corners, plumbing and how the tile ends at the reveals. It's little details like this that make me happy at the end product. I'm happy to discuss Tile Unlimited further! Send me a message if you are interested!

Josh got back to me as soon as I left him the first voicemail. He had me send a few photos of my kitchen and the measurements, we talked through it, he quickly sent me an estimate and they started within a couple of days. The price was very fair. They are true perfectionists (like me) and discussed every little detail of the project with me before starting. They worked hard for 4 and half straight days (and over the holidays). Juan did most of the work. He's a master craftsman, a true artisan. They got the job done quickly and exactly as we discussed. The finished product is gorgeous!
