Kitchen cabinets and quartz countertops

I had my old cheap oak cabinets and tile countertops replaced by Granite Store Kitchen and Bath. Lillian Ao helped with design choices. She is wonderfully patient and great with color and design. My space is small which she took into consideration. Paul did the measurements and had some suggestions that were very helpful in getting everything nicely lined up as far as plumbing and electrical. My old kitchen was removed on Monday, new cabinets in on Tuesday and Wednesday, quartz countertops in on Thursday, drawer pulls about a week later. Couldn't have been more smooth. I also had two bathroom cabinets replaced. Price was very good and quality of cabinetry and workmanship is excellent. I recommend them highly.

I did my research and got several quotes before I found them and working with Lillian was a delight.

We wanted to replace some old cabinets over our washer & dryer in our laundry room so we asked Stan…read moreto design some new cabinets that would fill the wall over the washer & dryer, and we had our contractor build out the wall behind the cabinets so that they would be easy to reach into. The resulting cabinets are absolutely gorgeous and very well built. I love the self-closing hinges that automatically close the doors. Stan provided all of the trim around the cabinets which matches them perfectly. The price was very reasonable for the quality of the workmanship provided. I will be ordering more from Stan for my next project!

Do NOT do business with Cabinets 101. Horrible customer service, tons of problems, and slow to fix…read moreproblems. Here are a only a few of my issues with Cabinets 101: 1) They installed a wrong door hinge on one of my cabinet door. Totally looked wonky. How did it pass QA? Your guess is as good as mine. They gave me new hinges a few weeks later and I received the wrong door hinges. The doors are now straight, but now I have a big gap between doors 2) They installed a top sliding drawer where the sink goes. How does a sink go in the box with a drawer... Don't know. They took it out and installed a false drawer plate. They added a gap and you could see nails from all side because of the gap. 3) They shorted us on cabinet shelves. I asked for more shelves. I talked to the associate at the asked for my specific sized. I told the 19.25 inches wide. They sent me 19.625 inches wide. So, now I have to cut them shorter. They also shorted me on cabinet shelves hangers. They gave me the wrong size, so I have to buy the correct ones. Stay away from this place

I purchased a high end refrigerator ($3k+) from here and it has been a disappointment from day one…read more For starters the unit has produced about 12 ice cubes in the last 3 months. I routinely get erroneous error messages about power failures. The freezer thermostat fails about once a week. The service support has been pathetic. The first guy blamed it on my water pressure even without making any measurements. Then he suggested that it was caused by my setting the 'max ice' setting 'on', which he explained was actually a minimum ice setting. I've had two more calls with the service department who promised to send someone out, but I've received zero follow up. Overall I'd say this outfit is not worth your trust. Overpriced and under performing. My next step is small claims court.

Short and sweet: not good customer service. The first salesperson we spoke with only wanted to…read morechit-chat with boomer customers before and after us. When I introduced myself to him he just paused for a few seconds then replied: "And?". I replied that I was waiting to hear his name then I continued that I was there to look for a new bathroom vanity and possibly kitchen cabinets too. He quickly walked through the showroom saying that he knew little of that and was more knowledgeable about appliances. Understandable but isn't this a kitchen and bath showroom? He then found a bathroom vanity book and offered that we take a seat at a model kitchen and look through it. So we did. He then left to go smoke outside. That may have had something to do with it. Interrupting someone's smoke break is never great but there are ways that someone in their 60's can handle that situation that doesn't leave a potential customer feeling like they are not welcome. Especially when the customer has money and you have a product to sell. Then the next salesperson, someone closer to my age range came by. He asked what we were looking for then led us back to his desk. There he proceeded to show us vanities on the website. I can do that, in fact I have done that on their website. We wanted to visit the showroom to be shown what's there. Isn't that why companies have showrooms? Generally I felt that the place was low energy and that not one of the three employees there wanted to be there. That is bad management, happy employees are productive and friendly people. May be they are not paid enough to care, maybe management is also absent not wanting to work when the majority of customers are able to visit. Who knows? But I know that I won't go back. Much better customer service at Home Depot, of all places
