So when I read "custom," I insert expensive. I gathered four bids on custom vanities for our three…read morebathrooms. Not only was Sweetwater competitively priced, Michael builds cabinetry one way. He's not going to talk to you about seven different hinge options or five different degrees to which a drawer can be sanded (I didn't even know there were multiple interior sanded options...and WTH?...doesn't sanded mean sanded?). My three vanities were delivered on schedule (for fear I'll put them in a bad position, I'll refrain from telling you how fast they made these vanities). All three are solid, specs are perfect, and painted to perfection. I was so pleased I I also asked Sweetwater to overhaul my dining room cabinetry. This is what I know: Michael is a gem. His guys are equally as fantastic. They answer the phone. They return emails. They show up when they say they'll show up. Imagine! I got exactly what I wanted for my home (within budget!) and didn't compromise on build quality. No matter if you're replacing or refacing...whatever, this is who gets the job. But Mark, the installer, recommended by Dennis, failed to complete the finer details. Nail marks/holes were left with Mark's recommendation for me to buy "white nail polish" to cover the holes. The cabinets chip easily if a plate or glass accidentally touches the edge when returning them to the cabinet. Mark's phone number was "no longer in service" soon thereafter. I like to support "local" businesses and Dennis is a "nice" guy. I recommend, however, that homeowners hire their own installers and be sure they are happy with "made in China" cabinetry, as indicated on the cabinets when they arrived.

Clean, organized, modern and barely a speck of dust in the entire building. I have been a victim not only of the fire, but of two unscrupulous contractors. Because of that, things fell behind schedule and tens of thousands of dollars were misappropriated. I was getting desperate to find somebody who could provide top quality cabinets in a short period of time. Serge was able to design and build almost 100 linear feet of kitchen and bathroom cabinets for my Tubbs Fire rebuild in less than month! I don't know if he can always guarantee that kind of a turnaround time, but it was truly remarkable. The workmanship and the design are second to none. He's not the cheapest, but you definitely get what you pay for in quality. My next project for Serge is a set of custom wall-mounted bunkbeds like I have seen on his website before.
