The resulting cabinets are absolutely gorgeous and very well built. I love the self-closing hinges that automatically close the doors. Stan provided all of the trim around the cabinets which matches them perfectly. The price was very reasonable for the quality of the workmanship provided. Here are a only a few of my issues with Cabinets 101: 1) They installed a wrong door hinge on one of my cabinet door. Totally looked wonky. How did it pass QA? Your guess is as good as mine. They gave me new hinges a few weeks later and I received the wrong door hinges. The doors are now straight, but now I have a big gap between doors 2) They installed a top sliding drawer where the sink goes. How does a sink go in the box with a drawer... Don't know. They took it out and installed a false drawer plate. They added a gap and you could see nails from all side because of the gap. 3) They shorted us on cabinet shelves. I asked for more shelves. I talked to the associate at the asked for my specific sized. I told the 19.25 inches wide. They sent me 19.625 inches wide. So, now I have to cut them shorter. They also shorted me on cabinet shelves hangers. They gave me the wrong size, so I have to buy the correct ones. Stay away from this place

GBR is amazing! Highly recommend. We upgraded our kitchen on a budget and went to GBR because we…read morewere interested in Caesarstone, but it turned out that wasn't the right solution for us. After exploring other affordable options, we almost didn't do new countertops at all; but at the last minute we found an inexpensive orphan quartzite slab that we loved at another shop. It was cheap not only because it was an orphan but also because it had some issues, including a giant fissure on the back, a deep vein on one side, and chipping along one edge. On top of that, it was on the smallish side. We took this problem to GBR. They arranged for the slab to be delivered to their shop and took very careful measurements of our kitchen. Then they did a wonderful job of talking us through all the challenges that this choice of slab brought with it -- but best of all, they suggested solutions and alternatives to make it possible to use it in our kitchen. GBR knocked it out of the park on the cutting and installation. The counters and island look perfect! They were even able to enlarge the top of the island a little from the size of the old one. We could not be happier with the results. They were a delight to work with and we will definitely work with them again if we do additional work to the house.

We spent many Saturdays with Martha (who I'm pretty sure has got to have an honorary degree in psychology with all of the confused and overwhelmed people and couples who walk in their door. Anyone who has ever remodeled knows what I'm talking about! I think I would've completely lost my mind if it wasn't for Martha. She really did go above and beyond. Frankly, I miss talking to her lol! The entire staff there is so helpful and knowledgeable on their products and answered all of our million and one questions. They steered us away from some materials due to the upkeep, which we really appreciated. It might look amazing in a catalog, but maybe not so realistic when you are a busy family with messy kids and dogs! We had their team do the install for us as well, which I highly recommend. They are the best in the business and they know what they are doing. When you're buying high-quality stone it's worth the peace of mind.
